She was moved with conviction that especially the "colored people' needed to hear the Gospel and not be "neglected". What do you suppose she meant, when she said, "... no color line in heaven.. " ? I mean, we all know what you suppose, but if we were to look into her writings and search them more carefully, we will find a different sentiment, then what you have espoused: "There will be COLORED PEOPLE IN HEAVEN. Do you think that Christ has a separate apartment for them? NOT AT ALL. Heaven is broad, and they come right in." 4MR 34.5 Did you see that? "There will be colored people in heaven" ? How can there be colored people in heaven, when there is no color line in heaven??? Because, my friend, she was simply saying that there is no PREJUDICE in heaven.... not that there will be no races in heaven. Remember our quotes today, concerning blacks and whites: -- "... BOTH have the same Creator..." -- "... Christ is OUR elder brother...." -- "... Colored people in heaven..." -- " ...ONE heaven for the SAVED..

We and animals were created from the same dirt, earth! All living creatures have that DNA in common!! No!!!! Some humans do NOT have more animal DNA than others!!! Some have more mutated genes than others being closely related to their areas..aka more pure. They didn't mix with other groups because of where they lived or how well they avoided other people. That does not make them more animal!

My question is... isn't that exactly what plagiarism is?
There are numerous cases where Ellen wrote entire pages in her books, which are taken from other books, where she reworded the paragraphs, changed a few words here and there, sometimes changed the location of where the paragraph was compared to the other book... all without quoting.
There isn't such a thing as "borrowing" in a case like this. If you take someone else's ideas and words, and put them in your book without quoting, you're then plagiarising that other person's work.
When it comes to the racism and amalgamation issues, you have answered my questions very effectively so I thank you for that.

@@thatnicekid04 I don’t know how old you are, but I am 82 yrs old and have read an original copy of her first book Early Writings in which that statement was made. It was a constant embarrassment for the SDA church which they had removed from future printings of the book.
