What would it matter if she did? She after all was a Prophet of the Lord like any of the other prophets in the bible, the truth is progressive should we be surprised the Lord has revealed more truth in the time of the end through another prophet? Take Sunday as the mark of the beast, if not for God speaking through EG white how else would we have learned this truth? My church is ashamed of EG White the district pastor said we should not preach EG White on Sabbath as it would upset the visitors.
I am new to adventism but I accept that she was a prophet and I am unashamed of that. She was merely a vessel of the Lord, a willing Vessel that spoke the word of God to us so that we would be prepared in this time of the end.
This is Adventism, the movement with the spirit of prophesy let us tell the world what God has told us through her. Let us not be ashamed and live in fear of what anyone thinks or says. Christ is coming the world and its opinions matter not.

I've met many people who agreed with ALL SDA doctrines, but just because of EGW they lost interest or refused to become SDA. Frankly, I probably would not have become SDA if it wasn't for EGW.
The first time I saw all her books in a library, I wasn't even SDA yet. I was blown away by the fact that one person wrote all those books. I was so curious about Ellen White and her books that I started browsing through them... content pages, preface... etc... I pulled many from the shelves and read a paragraph here and there, a page here and there, a chapter here and there...
Then I also started reading what prominent founders wrote about her and later prominent members.
EGW got me hooked to become SDA!

👍 As a SDA I follow many channels of Sunday keeping churches and pastors and they love quoting from commentaries and books of prominent scholars of their particular denomination. I noticed it particularly with various Reformers such as Anglicans and Presbyterians. Baptists, such as Independent Fundamentalist Baptists (IFB) love quoting from Peter S Ruckman and the commentaries in their Schofield Reference Study Bible. They also love quoting from the pale pages of recently published rubbish. You'd never see them quoting from old 18th and 19th century books.

By placing his hands upon the head of the victim the sin of the individual was transferred to the victim, and his suffering the sinner saw Christ typified, when he should give himself as a sacrifice for our sins. • @kevinmorgan8782

That's a tough one. Do you know of anyone who was up in heaven on that date to see Jesus going from one apartment to another, closing the door as He went? It's a real question. I'm not trying to be facetious. We can have the expectation that He did start a new phase of ministry according to the sanctuary types and according to Hebrews which consistently describes the heavenly sanctuary as "holy places" (Greek, ta hagia) and according to the imagery of Revelation which describes an inner room in heaven that has a door.

I believe Ellen White was inspired not by visions as she claims but by the Holy Spirit. Now we have to be very, very, careful whether it is the Holy Spirit or an evil spirit. For Satan himself shall appear as an angel of light and shall deceive many. In the Great Controversy, chapter 41, Desolations of the earth, On page 568 Ellen White wrote: At the coming of Christ the wicked are blotted out from the face of the whole earth---consumed with the spirit of his mouth and destroyed by the brightness of his glory. Christ takes His people to the city of God, and the earth is emptied of its inhabitants…….For a thousand years Satan will wander to and fro in the desolate earth. Now the Bible specifically says Satan will be bound with chains and cast into a bottomless pit.(outer space) that he should deceive the nations no more. And after a thousand years are expired Satan will be loose for a little season and he will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth. What nations will Satan deceive if every one has been dead for a thousand years???

Why take Isaiah 53 with caution?? It plainly is talking about Jesus Christ from start to finish. Even though it doesn't quote unquote say Jesus. If one knows his or her Bible they will understand who is being mentioned. Many of the old prophets even spoke and eat with the Son of Man aka Jesus. Moses at the burning bush, Gidon before he took his 300 warriors to battle. Abraham eat with Jesus and the 2 angels right before Sodom & Gomorrah and the cities of the plains were destroyed. David praises Him all through Psalms. Psalms 22 and 23 speak directly of His death and resurrection. Just to name a few. Last but not least Jesus walked with Adam and Eve and creation was formed through Him. John 1:1-5🙏🙏🙏

"Why take Isaiah 53 with caution?" Talk to the Jews who don't want to give Jesus a platform. That's who I said take them with caution. We who live after Jesus came to earth as the Lamb of God have a great advantage in knowing how the OT pieces fit together to point to Jesus.

We are so afraid to say that EGW was given the spirit of prophecy. Rev. 19:10 but God's remnant is identified by keeping the commandments and having the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev 12:17 . Thus other denominations claim to be the people of God and have a prophet. The Mormons have a prophet but only one book that deviates from the Bible. Islam has a book and a prophet, but both go against the cannon. Only EGW wrote in accordance with scripture. There's also the kingdom hall believers they also have writings and prophet. I had read spirit of prophecy and have never seen any deviation from the Bible.

I think it is observably true that some people have a stronger constitution ("vital force") than others. They seem to be able to avoid illness and bounce back from illness easier than others. Regarding marital excess, there is a reason why it should take two "signatures" to sign the "check" of marital relations and why such relations are different when a person is very tired or recovering from illness. I hope you get my illustration.
