A very poor representation of OSAS. Many of these men made claims that OSAS supports the idea "You don't have to live holy lives". The Bible clearly teaches we have to live holy lives. The distinction is simply made in scripture between salvation and service. Jesus commands us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect. That is the standard. Salvation is free through the grace of God through the only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Discipleship is costly and requires service, sacrifice and taking up your cross. Jesus is the only one who's righteousness is enough. The question is does God abandon you to hell when you sin after being saved by His grace? Is the individual saved actually sealed by the Holy Spirit? Are they actually a purchased possession bought with a price? Equating the P of TULIP to OSAS is also a misrepresentation.
These men add in their righteousness to their salvation. The ultimately take the gospel and force people to look back on their own works for justification. One sin is a transgression of the whole law. If false teachings were creeping in as early as Paul (Galatians 1:6), don't appeal to "church fathers", appeal to scripture.
John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (John 5:24)
John 11:25-26 - "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26)
John 6:47 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me has everlasting life." (John 6:47)
Acts 16:31 - "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your household." (Acts 16:31)
1 John 3:23 - "And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." (1 John 3:23)
John 8:24 - "I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins." (John 8:24)
John 6:29 - "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent." (John 6:29)
1 Corinthians 1:21 - "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
1 John 5:1 - "Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves him that begot loves him also that is begotten of him."
John 3:15 - "That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:36 - "He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him."
Romans 10:9 - "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved."
Romans 10:10 - "For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Mark 16:16 - "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned."
Acts 10:43 - "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins."
1 John 5:5 - "Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
Romans 4:5 - "But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
Romans 1:16 - "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
John 14:12-14 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."
      1 John 5:10-13
John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

'I do not run aimlessly, nor do I box by beating the air with my fists. But I discipline my body harshly, and bring it into subjection; for I fear lest, after preaching to others, I myself should be cast away' (1 Cor. 9:26-27).

"I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means*, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." Paul is eternally saved, speaking to eternally saved brethren. He was very careful during his ministry, including working wherever he lodged, so as not to be seen by men as insincere, even though God allowed him to be supported, he insisted to do it himself. In this passage he is also pointing out that he fights the sin inside himself so to be seen by men as worthy, and not a hypocrite counterfeit while preaching the saving grace Gospel of the Lord God Jesus Christ. He is not talking about being castaway from God. Context matters.

@vickyannpaintingwithoils Paul talks about not running aimlessly and disciplining his body. The context is that he could be disqualified from the race even though he was a person preaching the gospel. After that example, in chapter 10, Paul uses the Israelites as examples of them falling away. Under the Old Covenant, the people could fall away, it's the same under the New Covenant. That's his whole point. That's why he is warning them about idolatry in chapters 8 - 10.

God is willing to always stay in the relationship but if we no longer have faith in our hearts and depart he will not force us to stay, once saved always saved is a lie from Hell clearly not shown in scripture warned against in Jude. Marriage symbolizes the unity of God - the two become one but are still two. As the Trinity cannot be separated so the bond of a marriage should not be broken as Man bears the Image of God. Maybe this is primarily why God hates divorce. But God allows it, nonetheless.
As one can divorce his/her spouse so a Believer can divorce God. Both are done by an act of free will. Keep vigilant in your love for your spouse and keep vigilant in your love for God. Faith, love, obedience to his will.
Good works are done in love through faith by an act of obedience (free will) for the glory of God and are done for others ("I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was hungry, and you gave me food, naked and you clothed me....").

nope... but you can definitely forsake HIM, become unfruitful in faithlessness [Matt 13:18-23] and be cast off like a withered branch [John 15:1-15], as YOU wander from the narrow way [Matt 7:13-27], and in lacking these things of faithfulness, you become blind, and cannot see afar off, and having forgotten you were purged from your old sins [2Pet1:1-9] you neglect the salvation you received..
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him?
“Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

@ 14:40 there is a blatantly obvious misinterpretation of the Bible in First Corinthians 9:24-27. Salvation is not even being talked about in that passage. Salvation is NOT A PRIZE to be won by how you live. This passage is about eternal rewards, not salvation. You do not earn salvation as a prize because you lived a dedicated life to the end. Salvation was won for you by Jesus Christ and you receive it as a FREE GIFT by faith in His finished work. Not one of these men understands salvation. Btw, I'm FAR from being a Calvinist. OSAS is Bible doctrine based on many clear passages of scripture. It cannot be walked away from or undone. Neither can you cease being born again. Once born again always born again. It is an eternal relationship with God our Father that will NEVER cease. To call salvation a "prize" is to place all the glory of our salvation upon ourselves, not Christ, who alone won it for us by the sacrifice of His innocent blood on the cross. If you did not get everlasting life when you believed you did not get saved. It really is that simple.

I personally believe the truth is somewhere in between. I think both sides go to the extreme which I don’t think is accurate. When repenting and becoming saved by God’s grace through Jesus Christ sacrifice your past and future sins are forgiven and your salvation is not at stake for making mistakes and sinning in the future. But when you sin you repent and ask forgiveness as you are condemned by the knowledge given you by the Holy Spirit in your heart. You know you did wrong and you feel the guilt and shame and need to be forgiven for it anew. Where I am not so sure is the giving away your salvation through your actions and heart, both ways make sense to me in that God could let you walk away if you chose but also I can see where God would not allow a human to have that power once given to Him through salvation. The Bible is very difficult to understand especially in a translated language because we don’t know how accurate the translation is based on multiple meanings of words. I have always believed that much of the debating is irrelevant and doesn’t matter if we totally understand each thing as much as understanding the way to salvation and the way to live in God’s will. If you are truly saved I don’t see how you could change back and allow yourself to be unsaved if that is possible. I feel shame and guilt for saying something in anger or frustration so I can’t imagine how I’d turn evil enough to warrant losing salvation because I wouldn’t be able to fall that far from God. Just my thoughts as a “normy” with no theology training or anything like that.

Scripture says we ought to walk just as Christ walked, friend. There are two reasons for remaining in sin after receiving the gospel: Such a person either loves pleasure rather than God or they deny the power of God that can make them holy. The Holy Spirit is He who makes holy. Scripture says whoever continues to practice sin is a liar and does not know Jesus. If we fall, we are to confess and repent, not make excuses to continue wallowing in the mire.

While God says no one can pluck you out of the Father's hand, that doesn't exempt individuals from personal accountability. Claiming a higher standard is reserved for saints is merely an excuse for complacency. Saints and believers alike are held to the same standard, as Paul emphasizes in striving for excellence. It's disrespectful to settle for the bare minimum when Christ endured excruciating suffering for us. Christ's sacrifice wasn't for us to merely scrape by, but to transform our hearts and minds. We're called to imitate God and actively participate in our salvation journey, not just passively believe. Aligning with God requires diligent effort, not just lip service. It's time to stop deceiving ourselves and put in the necessary work to cultivate true faith and obedience.

It should be a Joy to know that because you are saved you should want to do what is right and faithful to God. Do we still make mistakes? Yes absolutely. But that difference is even when I do make a mistake God still loves me and because he loves me I should want to change my behavior.

Esau forfeited his birthright for a bowl of soup, Israelites in the wilderness groaned for the way of life in a Egypt and died in the wilderness. If those were written for our instruction, why are we so lax about the possibility of forfeiting our faith for the world that we’ve left? Why are we assuming that it isn’t possible for someone to do, harden their heart against conviction and return to the mud and muck of the world? God always has mercy, but if someone dies in that state of forfeit and knowing rejection, what faith is there to save them?

Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? @@EthnosSynergyEnergy You are deliberately mishandling the scripture. You already know of the passage in Romans 4 which clearly states that Abraham was justified BEFORE GOD by faith alone. The justification in James is not for salvation from sin's penalty but is CLEARLY about our being justified before MEN, not God, by our good works. Unsaved people can "act good" and do good works and millions of them do, thinking that is enough to get them into heaven. Are you one of them? It sure sounds to me like you are trying to justify YOURSELF before God by your own righteousness, which the Bible repeatedly and very clearly states is not possible.
You are only justified before God by your faith in His Son's sacrifice. If you don't believe that or know that, you have never been born again. God will not save a self-righteous person who thinks their good deeds or lawkeeping saves them. Again, do you know that salvation is ONLY by grace through faith, not of works, lest any man should boast? God knows your heart and whether or not you have believed in Jesus Christ ALONE for salvation. Men cannot see your heart, only what you DO in their sight. This is the justification before me in James.

I highly recommend you watch Bibleline's 4 part reaction to this documentary where he points out the glaring problems with this documentary. John 3:16, John 6:37, John 10:27-28, 1 John 2:19, Matthew 7:23 (why did he say "I never knew you" rather than something like "I don't know you anymore"), Hebrews 10:10, Ephesians 1:13 (that's just some of them)
Think about this too... Hebrews 6:4-6 is often used against OSAS but think about it... if what it says is interpreted the way people who believe you can lose your salvation interpret it you would have to say that once someone loses their salvation they can't get it back... ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED???
All this debate over OSAS would be done away if we would accept the biblical teaching on salvation.
No one alive and breathing in their natural body is saved. We have the hope of salvation. We have the hope of eternal life. The seed of life is placed in us at the moment we come to faith in Christ. That seed is called:
      The earnest of our inheritance
The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
      The promise of the Father
      The anointing
      The Comforter
      The Spirit of Truth.
All we have now is the hope of salvation.
We cannot lose our salvation because we don't have it.
We have the earnest(down payment or guarantee) but we've not been to the closing table.
We're saved by grace through FAITH.
Faith is the substance of things HOPED for.
We are saved by HOPE: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet
      HOPE for?
But if we HOPE for that we see not, then do we with patience, WAIT for it(salvation).
Being NOW justified by his blood, we SHALL(future) be saved from wrath through him.
...BEING reconciled, we SHALL be saved by his life.
But let us who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of FAITH and love and for an helmet, the HOPE of salvation.
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation NEARER than when we first believed.
And unto them that look for him SHALL he appear the second time without sin UNTO salvation.
Who are kept by the power of God THROUGH faith UNTO salvation ready TO BE revealed in the last time.
Receiving the END of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
We are saved by GRACE through faith.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE to the end for the GRACE that is TO BE BROUGHT UNTO you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
...that the spirit MAY be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Brethren, the scriptures are clear, he which hath BEGUN a good work in us will perform it UNTIL the day Jesus Christ.
We are saved by grace THROUGH faith and we will be presented holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: IF we CONTINUE in the FAITH and be not moved away from the
      HOPE of the gospel.
Brethren, our salvation is future. He has begun the work but it's not complete or finished. He will perform that work in us only if we CONTINUE in the faith, which, is to continue in his word.
Our Lord said to those that believed on him: "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth SHALL(future) make you free."
It is appointed unto man once to die, but AFTER this the
      JUDGEMENT.
We must all appear before the JUDGEMENT seat of Christ.
Our eternity is established(settled or finalized)at JUDGEMENT .
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the FOUNDATION of…eternal JUDGEMENT.
We are for once and always saved when we stand before the JUDGEMENT seat of Christ.

You must be Born Again. When you are Born Again, the holy Spirit of God produces godly living in us. Human effort to do and be good always falls short. Only Christ in us, the hope of glory. If you do not have God living inside of you, then you cannot live holy. We do not act good to get to heaven. We act godly because we are going to heaven. It's a huge difference. It's God in us, causing us to walk in His ways!

No Christian is sinless, and no Christian will ever be sinless while alive on earth, for we are all in a sin-nature body that is fallen from perfection and has at its foundation sin. So you are not saved because you stop sinning, or because you live a certain way, but rather because the blood of Jesus washes away all your sins-this is the only reason you are saved! Sadly wrong. 26 seconds in is the first misrepresentation of what those who believe OSAS actually believe and say. "It doesn't really matter how you live after you're saved ..." Once you start lying about what your opponents believe you've lost your audience. It matters strongly how you live after you're saved - read Romans 6. But you don't lose your salvation - 'cos that rests on what Christ has done, not on what we do. I needed salvation because I'm a sinner. Christ died for me because I'm a sinner. Now you think Christ will throw me away because I'm a sinner?

So the context here is that our sin is covered by the blood of the lamb as long as we repent which means doing a 180 deg, turning from a life filled with sin and walking on that narrow path. If we as a believers claim we are saved by the blood of Messiah but then continue to choose sin when we know it is wrong that's when we can be cut off. Rom 11:22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. What constraints existed while making the video that prohibited the other point of view from presenting their questions/concerns with the primary theme of the video? Chris White mentioned on his podcast this took full time 9+ months of work and represented his best work to date. Those that have been saved WILL endure until the end, but, salvation is not preserved by our good works, but by our faith in Christ, the same faith that saved us keeps us. Excellent work. Largely fair to the opposing view and well thought out. In a few places they oversimplify and seem to be primarily reacting to antinomian beliefs when Romans 7, in particular, can and is interpreted as a struggle we face but does not have to be construed as “normal” as in “acceptable.” Rather it can be acknowledged as part of the sanctification journey that should become less and less as we allow the love and power of the Holy Spirit to transform us. In the end, I wholeheartedly agree with their goal of pursuing holiness and obedience-oriented following of Jesus. On the primary theological question they are addressing, I think the most profound Biblical argument is if God created us with Freewill, as evidenced in Genesis 1, then why would He take away Freewill? Really appreciate the thoughtful work they put into this. Well done!

      Warnings Against Falling Away
      Hebrews 6:4-6
"For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt."
      Hebrews 10:26-27
"For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries."
      2 Peter 2:20-22
"For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them."
      1 Corinthians 9:27
"But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified."
(Paul warns that even he could be disqualified if he doesn't maintain discipline.)

      Verses on Continuing in Faith
      John 15:5-6

(Jesus teaches the need to remain in Him or face destruction.)
      Romans 11:22
"Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you too will be cut off."
(Paul teaches that remaining in God's kindness is conditional.)
      Colossians 1:21-23
"And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard."
(Salvation is conditional on continuing in the faith.)
      Hebrews 3:12-14
"Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called 'today,' that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end."
      Obeying Jesus' Commands
      Matthew 7:21-23
"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

      Revelation 2:5
"Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent."
(Jesus warns a church to repent or lose their place.)

"But the one who endures to the end will be saved."
      Personal Responsibility and Final Judgment
      Ezekiel 18:24
"But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die."
      Philippians 2:12
"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
(Paul encourages believers to take their salvation seriously, implying it is not a guaranteed, automatic process.)
These verses collectively show that salvation is conditional upon ongoing faith, obedience, and perseverance in Christ. They suggest that it is possible to fall away from grace or to be disqualified from salvation if one does not continue in faith or rejects Christ late

And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’ Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.’ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:34-46

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in their place to share the richness of the olive tree, do not boast over the branches. If you do boast, remember it is not you that support the root, but the root that supports you. You will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast only through faith. So do not become proud, but stand in awe. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.” Romans 11:16-21

Read Bible within context of Bible itself….. No any good teacher is better than God's words. No matter how many people think they possess the truth. Bible is the only authority.
    Some examples of my understanding:
15’17” What “disqualified” for? A runner can be disqualified in a race, but that doesn’t cancel the runner identity. The context of 1 Corinthians 9:27 Paul was talking about was the prize/reward of good works of Christians as the result of possessing the true faith, not the GIFT of God.
15’52” A logical conflict of the disapproval in the earlier video about questioning whether one really has faith or not.
17’22‘’ Roman 11 discussed a huge deal about God's Grace and Election. The context of the specific verse (picked up in the video) 11:22 was referring to the "unbelief".
In general, my observation is that it’s a misunderstanding about Calvinism. Calvinism never stated anywhere that true faith can be without any changes in a personal life or fruits of faith.
Meanwhile, if we are able to work our way out to obtain and possess faith, I wonder what Jesus has accomplished?
A lot of statements in this documentary are debatable and worth investigation and looking into.

Being a worship leader doesn't save. Many churches don't even preach the Gospel. Your family member probably didn't believe on Christ alone for salvation.
What did she believe? Faith alone?
Salvation isn't something we can lose through violating the 10 Commandments. Otherwise, it is a reward.
The works of the Law = keeping the Law
You don't believe in faith alone. Faith alone means believe and be done.
Works salvation means earning your way by keeping the 10 commandments and other rules all your life. This is a salvation that man CAN lose because man EARNS it.

@@ChileanNews The Apostle Paul was talking about a PRIZE.
Do you consider salvation to be a prize? True, the prize is only reserved for those who live faithfully to the end.
But 1st Corinthians 9:24-27 is NOT talking about salvation/Heaven.
Do you consider Heaven to be a prize? Because the Bible calls Heaven a free gift (Romans 5:15-20 and Ephesians 2:8-9).
A free gift is received the moment you take it. It is NOT something you require someone to work for.
If I require you to work for me for 50 years to receive salvation
There are rewards for believers who live faithfully.
As for Matthew 24, read until verses 21-22 and you will see it is talking about PHYSICAL SALVATION (or surviving) the 7-year Tribulation, not salvation of the soul.

I have never heard any sermon from a born-again individual - live or on RUclips - with the thesis put forth by this video, that the idea of 'once saved always saved' gives someone the license to sin anyway desired without consequence - never. If someone can point to an example - please do - I promise you it will not have been delivered by a born-again believer. And if anyone hears a sermon putting forth this position and thinks, "Good, I'm free to live any way I want, because I'm good to go!", I promise you that individual has not experienced the justification of the Living God. Hi Rick, I was raised Baptist and I never heard any advocate of eternal security teach that we have a license to sin. They all have ways of being able to explain their doctrine in such a way that at least attempts to nullify the end result of a sin license. The potential for living their life in a way that demonstrates that deep down inside they believe they have a license to sin still remains. Arminians are quick to just assume that if you believe in eternal security you also believe in a sin license. On the other hand the advocates of once saved always saved are quick to assume that if you deny eternal security then you therefore believe in a part grace and part works salvation. Get saved by grace and stay saved by your works and not sinning. Yes the potential for believing this way does exist amongst arminians but not all arminians fall into that ditch. When it comes to the question of how salvation is forfeit not all arminians give the same answer. When you stand at the judgement you will not be able to pat yourself on the back and give credit to yourself for staying saved by avoiding sin or doing good works. If your salvation can be forfeit then the forfeiture has nothing to do with your sinning or not sinning and everything to do with your faith which is what gets you counted as righteous in the first place. When a faith is genuine it will impact how one lives their life. When a genuine faith is gone the lack of that genuine faith will also impact how one lives their life. Both sides need to be careful about the conclusions they draw when evaluating the opposing view and not be so quick to just assume.
