Bought my wife’s bike after seeing your video in December. Bought my bike in January had to wait until end of May to get it.we have the 1.0 bike. Didn’t want to wait any longer for the 2.0. Now I can keep up with my wife on her bike.
Great video. We just left a boondocking site between Red Canyon and Bryce this morning. Have ordered the new Lectric bike but couldn't get it for at least seven weeks so we rented ebikes from Outta Here EBikes just outside Bryce on Rt. 12. Rode all around the paved trails in Bryce Canyon (ebikes aren't allowed on the dirt trails in the park) and rode the paved trail to Red Canyon. Great fun and highly recommended.
I'm 6'4" and zip around Bend, OR on mine. I was very surprised that the Lectric adjusted high enough to fit me. It has opened my eyes to budget ebikes and I've been putting it through the paces!

The wait for a Trek Townie Path Go 10D is over 1 year. We cancelled those and ordered these a couple of weeks ago. 6-7 weeks is much better than 14 months.
@@marydelfico8406 Trek bikes are all sold out like that. But for what I wanted the Lectric fit the bill. Let us know if you actually get it in that time period. The website stated it was 5 to 6 when I ordered. Then I found out on Reddit people were wating 3 months or more.
Since I first saw you two demo the Lectric bikes, I've seen at least a half dozen of them around town. For a town like Spokane, that's kind of amazing that they have gained that much visibility here (I'd love to have the wife test ride one to see if she would like one, so that's on my to do list).

Great Video, really appreciate the updates info on the bikes. I am thinkin' 'bout selling my wife's car, buy her a Lectric 2.0 to go back and forth to work and to bring home the groceries too. She only drives approx. 40 miles a day anyway, she might get used to getting up earlier at some point. One of those bikes is on her want list, who knows I may make her happy after all...lol. Thanks guys. When we got our 1.0s One came with a standard seat and one came with the big seat and suspension seat post. We didn’t like the standard seat so ordered the comfort seat post package with your code. FYI, the site says “2.0 Comfort Seat package” but I called and they confirmed they will work with either model just make sure you order standard or step thru to match your model. Well guys I still have my 197X Motobecane 10 speed bicycle in my basement and it still works. My doctor said it's better for me to ride that. We'll see. Nice entertaining video. I think my wife may want one of those Lectric Bikes when she sees one. If she does I'll be able to get one too. Keep the good stuff coming.
They did a good study showing ebikes keep you in the needed exercise range for cardio. I like being able to control the intensity of the workout with far greater ability than a manual. I enjoy far more of the ride. The problem I run into is having so much fun, I overexert. 😁

We were at Ruby's Inn RV campground last month with our Lectrics 1.0. The Bryce area is a terrific place for EBikes. We rode from Bryce to Red Canyon and back getting 36 miles on our battery charge. This is like watching a home movie. We also have the Sena helmets. Great Navy minds think alike. We've ridden our Lectrics about 400 miles on this trip, including North and South rims of the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Moab, Bear Lake, Grand Teton and Yellowstone. We did add Cloud 9 seats, Satori suspension seat posts, and bigger pedals. My size 12s wouldn't fit on those tiny folding stock pedals. We carry ours on the back of our CRV toad on a Kuat NV 2.0 rack. We could fold them and carry them in the back of the CRV, but that's Sarah auxiliary storage space. Now after seeing the 2.0, Sarah wants me to stop locking our bikes, so somebody will steal them and she can get the new version. She's joking . . . I think. And the people who look down on EBikes are the ones we get the last laugh at while we zip by as they're struggling up in the hill
Good to see you guys back on the road! Utah and the NP’s there are on our bucket list. Just returned from 17 days going up the Eastern seaboard to Acadia. Ebikes would have been fun, but really glad we pulled the Harley and rode there as much as we could. Looking forward to new Indian adventures from you guys!
That looked like it was a blast. I would want the bike with the basket in the front and back. Then I'd be able to take my little dog and pack a picnic lunch. Nothing better than a picnic while biking.

Yes we did that last year. Halfway between on Tom best springs road forest service 117 road across from the off road track is our favorite boondocking spot.
I have a small correction. The Red Canyon CG is not strictly dry camping. They have a dump station with potable water available, restrooms and showers. We boondocked here: 37.755715, -112.260713 for a couple weeks in 2019 and stayed 2 nights at the CG mainly to dump, take on water and discard our trash. Not bad for $10.50/night because of our 1/2 price with our America the Beautiful Senior pass. If you're not staying overnight there is a nominal dump fee for those who just need to dump. It's a beautiful park with charcoal grills, tables and great views of Red Canyon - worth a stay. BTW, thanks for the great review of the 2.0. As fulltimers, we are thinking about getting a pair for Christmas. We'd like to order them now because we hear that there is a several months wait, however we have no where to ship them to as we move every couple weeks. It would be nice if they could hold them in their US facility when they arrive and just e-mail us when they get them so we can have them shipped to us wherever we're at (probably Q or Yuma by then).

Yes, the Sena helmets are game changing. Open mic conversations like a phone, up to about 500' distance. I'll be interested to see how the Lectrics fold up with the racks installed.
My husband and I have not been able to find a comfortable bike seat in years and we have tried MANY! We would love to be able to bike trails, but we have had to settle for walking trails, though not the miles as E-bikes would be able to take us!
@@ChangingLanes we have not tried that and neither have biking retails mentioned it. To be honest, it has been standard biking retails that we have pursued. Nevertheless, you would assume that E-Bikes would take notice? Have consumers also not complained about bike seat comfort, because I kind of find that hard to believe.

Thank you thank you thank you for the trail information! I am always looking for camp areas, scenic parks, destinations that also have a nice paved trail!! We have the Electra Townie Go! e-bikes and love them! The area you filmed didn't look too busy. So I have a favor to ask - would you mention in videos the date or at least the month (like say early May in the morning) you are there? I always look at your surroundings (all my RV'ers that I follow too) to see how busy or crowded it is so I can plan to either go there or stay away during that time frame. Bryce/Red Canyon is definitely on my list after watching your video! Can't wait to see how your little fur baby Daisy likes the bike! 🌼
As always, another GREAT VIDEO !!! Bryce Canyon is another shining star of Utah, but it's still not Zion!! While in the area, make the detour over to Zion and make the 7 mile loop to the north that you missed last time... No need to take a glow-in-the-dark frisbee with you into the mountain tunnel, they don't allow that anymore (LOL). You won't regret making the detour. :)

We got my wife one to ride along with me on my Rad. I started riding for the same reason. Every guy in my family got an exercise machine of some type at 50 when their cardiologist told them to. I got ahead of the game at 40. It is an awesome hobby.
@CookieD456 I ride mountain bikes up and down steep terrain like it's nothing and I'm 60. People in the 40's I see in the RV parks (I fulltime), can't even move, except to their next meal. People don't exert themselves today, and the sad part is that adults train their children by buying them motorized transportation. Remember the words of Paul Bragg: "To REST is to RUST!"
@@nunativs It is a real bike. it has two wheels hence bicycle. We also call motorbikes, "bikes". On the exercise tip, research has shown that you can get into the needed range for meaningful exercise. People also tended to ride longer and exercise more on an ebike as they enjoyed it more. Manual bikes have their place in outdoor excercise, as do ebikes. There is no reason to be snobbish about it.
My wife and I are looking into getting a couple of these bikes so when we are camping we can explore. May I ask where you got the bags on the back? Love your guys videos.
Great video as always. We bought the Lectric Bikes 2.0 after seeing the 1.0 review you did a while ago. Can you please share with us the link for where you bought the bags on the back rack?
I'm leaning towards buying one of these bikes. I find it more affordable and glad to see that this can hold up to 330 lbs. I'm a heavier person (around 300 lbs) and I find that some of the other ebikes out there can only support up to 275 lbs when I looked at various other ebikes. What I like about it too is the portability and affordability. I don't need any exterior racks on my car to transport it to where I want to go ride. Here in Maine, there are a lot of good trails to go riding on and I think this bike will do well for me. As for affordability, I've found other bikes to be around the $3000 range and this bike costs less than half that. I only hope this bike will be durable and the shipping won't take as long.
Yes Utah scenic 12 is one of the top 10 rides in America. Also a stop at the desert Dr. In escalante is fun. An old biker and a hoot. We are headed to Missouri for some rainbow trout fishing then up top Wisconsin dells and upper peninsula Michigan. Travel safe Robert Woods.

Ok now you rode the red canyon bike trail. Climb on that Indian and ride scenic 12 from red canyon to torrie. 125 miles. Stop in escalante and visit the desert Dr. Old biker. So much fun. We did scenic 12 round trip twice. My favorite place in this country.

I have watched all of your ebike videos and one thing that is never mentioned is charging. How battery bank intrusive is the charging for these if you weren't connected to shore power? The bike ride looked nice on that multi-use trail. Utah is a place on our bucket list. Hopefully we will make it there someday.

We did add Cloud 9 seats, Satori suspension seat posts, and bigger pedals. My size 12s wouldn't fit on those tiny folding stock pedals. We carry ours on the back of our CRV toad on a Kuat NV 2.0 rack. We could fold them and carry them in the back of the CRV, but that's Sarah auxiliary storage space. Now after seeing the 2.0, Sarah wants me to stop locking our bikes, so somebody will steal them and she can get the new version. She's joking . . . I think. And the people who look down on EBikes are the ones we get the last laugh at while we zip by as they're struggling up in the hill

Good to see you guys back on the road! Utah and the NP’s there are on our bucket list. Just returned from 17 days going up the Eastern seaboard to Acadia. Ebikes would have been fun, but really glad we pulled the Harley and rode there as much as we could. Looking forward to new Indian adventures from you guys!

Yes we did that last year. Halfway between on Tom best springs road forest service 117 road across from the off road track is our favorite boondocking spot.
I have a small correction. The Red Canyon CG is not strictly dry camping. They have a dump station with potable water available, restrooms and showers. We boondocked here: 37.755715, -112.260713 for a couple weeks in 2019 and stayed 2 nights at the CG mainly to dump, take on water and discard our trash. Not bad for $10.50/night because of our 1/2 price with our America the Beautiful Senior pass. If you're not staying overnight there is a nominal dump fee for those who just need to dump. It's a beautiful park with charcoal grills, tables and great views of Red Canyon - worth a stay. BTW, thanks for the great review of the 2.0. As fulltimers, we are thinking about getting a pair for Christmas. We'd like to order them now because we hear that there is a several months wait, however we have no where to ship them to as we move every couple weeks. It would be nice if they could hold them in their US facility when they arrive and just e-mail us when they get them so we can have them shipped to us wherever we're at (probably Q or Yuma by then).

Yes, the Sena helmets are game changing. Open mic conversations like a phone, up to about 500' distance. I'll be interested to see how the Lectrics fold up with the racks installed.

My husband and I have not been able to find a comfortable bike seat in years and we have tried MANY! We would love to be able to bike trails, but we have had to settle for walking trails, though not the miles as E-bikes would be able to take us!

@@ChangingLanes we have not tried that and neither have biking retails mentioned it. To be honest, it has been standard biking retails that we have pursued. Nevertheless, you would assume that E-Bikes would take notice? Have consumers also not complained about bike seat comfort, because I kind of find that hard to believe.

We have the Electra Townie Go! e-bikes and love them! The area you filmed didn't look too busy. So I have a favor to ask - would you mention in videos the date or at least the month (like say early May in the morning) you are there? I always look at your surroundings (all my RV'ers that I follow too) to see how busy or crowded it is so I can plan to either go there or stay away during that time frame. Bryce/Red Canyon is definitely on my list after watching your video! Can't wait to see how your little fur baby Daisy likes the bike! 🌼

While in the area, make the detour over to Zion and make the 7 mile loop to the north that you missed last time... No need to take a glow-in-the-dark frisbee with you into the mountain tunnel, they don't allow that anymore (LOL). You won't regret making the detour. :)

Trying to convince my wife I need to get one of those bikes. My heart doctor said riding a bike would be good exercise.
We got my wife one to ride along with me on my Rad. I started riding for the same reason. Every guy in my family got an exercise machine of some type at 50 when their cardiologist told them to. I got ahead of the game at 40. It is an awesome hobby.

@CookieD456 I ride mountain bikes up and down steep terrain like it's nothing and I'm 60. People in the 40's I see in the RV parks (I fulltime), can't even move, except to their next meal. People don't exert themselves today, and the sad part is that adults train their children by buying them motorized transportation. Remember the words of Paul Bragg: "To REST is to RUST!"
@@nunativs It is a real bike. it has two wheels hence bicycle. We also call motorbikes, "bikes". On the exercise tip, research has shown that you can get into the needed range for meaningful exercise. People also tended to ride longer and exercise more on an ebike as they enjoyed it more. Manual bikes have their place in outdoor excercise, as do ebikes. There is no reason to be snobbish about it.
Now you are in the area my husband and I stay at every summer. We stay at rv park just 35 miles from Bryce.
My wife and I are looking into getting a couple of these bikes so when we are camping we can explore. May I ask where you got the bags on the back? Love your guys videos.

I'm leaning towards buying one of these bikes. I find it more affordable and glad to see that this can hold up to 330 lbs. I'm a heavier person (around 300 lbs) and I find that some of the other ebikes out there can only support up to 275 lbs when I looked at various other ebikes. What I like about it too is the portability and affordability. I don't need any exterior racks on my car to transport it to where I want to go ride. Here in Maine, there are a lot of good trails to go riding on and I think this bike will do well for me. As for affordability, I've found other bikes to be around the $3000 range and this bike costs less than half that. I only hope this bike will be durable and the shipping won't take as long.
And yes we also have e bikes and a Harley. Funny i watch you guys follow us around.

Those stayed about the same. Much of that (top speed) is dictated by the class of bike.

Yes Utah scenic 12 is one of the top 10 rides in America. Also a stop at the desert Dr. In escalante is fun. An old biker and a hoot. We are headed to Missouri for some rainbow trout fishing then up top Wisconsin dells and upper peninsula Michigan. Travel safe Robert Woods.

Ok now you rode the red canyon bike trail. Climb on that Indian and ride scenic 12 from red canyon to torrie. 125 miles. Stop in escalante and visit the desert Dr. Old biker. So much fun. We did scenic 12 round trip twice. My favorite place in this country.

I have watched all of your ebike videos and one thing that is never mentioned is charging. How battery bank intrusive is the charging for these if you weren't connected to shore power? Are they something that could be charged via solar. I am curious about AMPs/Watts of their batteries.
