This method worked for a friend’s 1500 dodge. They had made an appointment with the dealership $200 to diagnose it, plus $500 to reset the program, if it needed replacement $1800 to replace. Words can’t express the gratitude they had for you and this video. THANKS A MILLION FOR SHARING GREAT CONTENT! Cheers!
Thanks great simple explanation, all those other people that spend more time on making their videos look like professional but they don’t realize that people with common cents don’t watch them more than 10 seconds
A friend was quoted $200 diagnostic fee plus $500 to reset the program. If the part needed replacement, it would be $1800. This method was done problems solved✅ Thanks 1 million for the excellent content! Cheers!
This is the fourth video that follows the exact same procedure to reset your transmission control module. And I tried doing this with mine, and I think it worked. My ram was lugging badly in 2nd to third gear at 1500 RPM. It seems a lot better.
@@revealedfromonhigh I know I always check on people to see if they fixed their problem. They never respond lol 😂 they probably have some valuable information too and we’ll never know
My 01 1500 randomly shuts off sometimes it will turn back on somtimes it wont heard it could be the ecm i reset it having the same problem. This all started happening after i changed the fluid and filter. It doesn't slip to bad but sometimes when it goes to tirn off randomly it jerks around could it be the tcm???
Do you think this will work in an 03 durango? I have the 5.9 w/ a 46re. I replaced the tcc/od solenoid, accumulator piston, and the filter. Had rough shifts ever since.
I think it is worth a try, but I can’t promise it will fix your current problems. Make sure you check the fluid levels and then why not give it a shot? Let me know if it works.
My truck was shifting really weird after I change the transmission fluid. I experienced it shifting at very high RPMs, and shifting down randomly. It was a very choppy not smooth ride after the reset it’s been running great.
Good job, thank you for putting that outhere.I have an 06hemi durango, just quit all together w cruise control on.Engine revs up,nogo.very clean fluid,no noise no codes...🤔🫣

Thanks, it works for me after replaced transmission and computer it was not shifting properly on first ,now is doing better, thanks!
Short and useful, thank you so much
Will This Work If It Says It’s Over Heating After Changing Transmission??
Just tried your method worked great thank you
Omg I was about to replace my transmission, then looked at the tcm. I will have to buy one for $420-$600. Hope this works.
Did it work ?

I have a 2006 300 touring my rpms are the ones that go high so i know the transmission messing up mine hope this will work
I hope it works for you as well! Double check that you have enough fluid and that it isn’t really dirty.
@@RaschDecisionsif it’s really dirty that means clutches can be shot
Does this work with. 2011 dodge charger
Does it work on Cherokee xj

I think it would work! Give it a shot and see if it helps. If it doesn't help then there might be something else wrong with the tranny.
I did it also it works
Would this work for a 04?
99 dodge Dakota, would this follow? Have laggy shifts and inconsistent down shifts. Thanks.

@@RaschDecisions it helped out forsure I’ll see after I get this tune done how it’ll really be. Thank you sir.
What was ur symptoms did ur speedometer not work or did it shift at high rpm?

@@RaschDecisionsdid it throw u a code? Mines is u0101 (lost communication with TCM).
Does it work on a HEMI RT 07 ? Thank you
It might. I don't know if the reset works for Chrysler vehicles. It's likely there is a different process for Chrysler.
Does this work for Diesel trucks?
From what I’ve read, it sounds like it’s the same for diesel and gas powered vehicles. The transmission is still the transmission.
I have a 2012 5.7
Will this hurt my trans in any way
Nope. It should only reset it and improve it if it's not working correctly.
I did it but my check engine light came back on
This isn’t to fix a check engine light. I’d recommend getting it tested and read the codes.
@@RaschDecisions I had it checked and the shop said my tcm is bad
