Moonwalking is somewhat important, it adds the ability to go deep offstage for a backair and is one of the quickest ways to grab the ledge from the other side of the stage. It also serves well as a movement mixup. People greatly underestimate how usefull a good timed moonwalk can be, although extensive use will get you punished.
Captain Falcon is all about movement, that is his main strength, saying that a movement option is not very important for Falcon is saying that shine is unimportant for Fox and Falco.

It's not essential but if you watch high level Melee, Falcons occasionally use it to cover more distance. I can't remember any examples off the top of my head though, if that indicates exactly how unimportant it is. Just another mix-up approach, which is exactly where Falcon's strength lies anyway so it's definitely useful to a degree.

Just starting to get into melee as far as competitive/technical-wise, and C Falcon is definitely one of the easier for me to practice advanced techniques.
I faced this amazing falcon at a tournament, I tippered him as marth on yoshis story at around 90%. It was crazy

Survivability only 4/5? Falcon is literally the hardest to kill in the entire game. (KDJ vs Gravy)
Well that can be chalked up to a combination of Falcon's survivability, the fact they were playing on Dreamland, and that Marth has basically no way to kill someone except for a raw Fsmash at that percent.
So how did KDJ manage to take 3 stocks off Gravy without dying himself first?

+SSBM Tutorials He is gimped very easily, I exaggerated a bit at "hardest to kill." He is very heavy and a fastfaller and lives FOREVER on dreamland.
his recovery doesn't sweet spot the ledge,he's a fast faller and dream land is a counter pick.

1:00 "loses to high priority moves."
Pretty much every move in the game, aside from Fox' f smash and a few others, lose if they are "outprioritized". That means that they deal at least 9 damage less than the other attack, resulting that you "clang" and the other attack will just go through it and hit you.
That is all that "priority" means.
There's more to it than that, but I get your point
OliverNOW Yeah, I know. I just wanted to point out, that priority in melee isn't what many think it is.
For a person like me who's never played smash melee competitive this video is very interesting. Im now really interested in getting back in to melee.

I know this is a very specific request, but could you do one on the Falco/Peach matchup? I main falco and secondary Peach, and on both sides I have a lot of trouble with it. As Falco its not too common to have to go against someone with better combo game in the matchup, and combined with how floaty she is it makes it really combo her. On the other hand as Peach, it can be very hard to deal with lasers getting rid of your float, and recovery, and it makes it almost impossible to approach. I know you covered the combo game aspect of peach vs fast fallers, but its the neutral that gets really hard for peach.

He's not disrespectful, it's just his most optimal/best stuff is very swaggy/cool.
+Jay Gryska It's not that. There are a ton of disrespectful and unneeded swaggy things to take advantage of when styling on people. Wizzrobe goes for the optimal shit, most of what he does doesn't look cool at all.

So after a long time practicing with Falcon, I can moonwalk, scar jump, walljump recovery, l cancel all of his moves, ledgedash and I can even sacred combo good. The only problem is the ledgestall. I can do it, but not consistently to the point of constant invincibility. Guess I have to keep practicing.
A_DutchGamer Have you tried using the bunny hood in training mode and 1/4 speed? Then gradually increasing the speed and without the bunny hood? That's how I did it anyways.

Maybe change "Hax$ (RIP)" to "Hax$ (Ret.)". He may be off the Smash radar while his hand heals, but throwing RIP in there could be misleading.
