This short video just saved my husband from buying a new washer! I have a GE GTW750 Top Load washer that we bought in 2018. My tube was blue, so that stumped me at first. But, as soon as I blew through it, it reset the washer back to the "Canceled" mode and it started the humming noise again. But after 4 minutes, it started back on the previous cycle. The problem was it was a full load of towels and when it went back to the original cycle, it filled up the water again and overflowed the washer. Unplugged it, pulled out all the water, and plugged it back in about 15 minutes later and it reset. I was able to start a new load/cycle of towels and it started right up with sensing. Thank you so much!

GE washers are junk I have the same issue wont drain. The washer this one replaced lasted for 10 years .The new one 1 load a week for 2 years no exception junk. I'm going to find a older not electronic washer and throw this the trash.
Make sure the lid is closed. Hold it down if you have to. Under the washer there was a technicians manual that has the codes. www.geappliances.com/ge/recall/washer_2016/ Check here to see if your model was a part of a recall.
My Temp/Soil/Spin buttons (GE GTW680BSJ6WS model) sometimes don't work (no matter how hard I press)...is that a motherboard issue and needs to be replaced?
Could be or it could be a button issue. I hope you get it figured out! With over 100k people watching this video I wonder if this unit was lemon from the start….
Hi Edith, GE Washer 26 Error Code Error Code Meaning An out of balance load is detected during the spin cycle. GE Washer 26 Error Code Error Code Possible Causes Uneven load distribution. Excessive basked runout. Excessive basket friction. So you will most likely need a part that keeps it balanced. Call a service technician and sometimes it’s an easy fix if parts are available. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Also please like and subscribe.
I have experienced this "won't spin" issue also! I have also seen dozens of other users complaining about this on other forums. The reason for this problem is that you have put clothes into the the machine such that it is overloaded and/or the load is badly out-of-balance. I spent an entire day working with all the settings and washing about 7 loads of clothes...... the solution is to PUT FEWER CLOTHES INTO THE WASHER!
unplug the unit and let it sit for 10 minutes. Try to check and see what error codes you have and determine if they are related to the tube or not. Yours may be different. In the video I show you how to get to the error codes. Lastly I would try the tube again and if that doesn’t work you may need a professional. I’m sorry I could not be of more help.
I have a question. I have this same model of machine. My problem is that the machine is blocked by an E7 error code, and the solution is to unlock it. but on the internet only appears the unlocking method for Mabe and not for GE, so I don't know which are the buttons that I have to press for 5 seconds to be able to unlock the error code. If someone can help me to better translate what I want to explain here, help! because i don't speak english

Full disclosure this did not fix my washer for very long. It last another week then I decided to replace it. Check for a repair manual that is hidden underneath the washer that has the error codes. You could probably also download the original repair manual from GE
Make Sure You Aren't Overloading the Washer. Assess the Machine's Condition. Prevent the Machine from Vibrating. purchase padded feet or a pad to set it on.... for example I am adding a link to check out. (I haven't used this product and cannot verify its quality) www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjOuI7gjdb1AhXDFdQBHdiiB6MYABAIGgJvYQ&ae=2&sig=AOD64_2oA_v8JLtpewwVyWg9x3IygXVYqA&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjo2IPgjdb1AhXonGoFHfR3BKgQ9aACegQIARBG&adurl= Cover the Machine With Blankets. Pad the Sides of the Machine. Soundproof the Laundry Room. Small loads would be easiest to start with. If you have the ability to return the Washer and replace it with a less noisy model then that might be your only option.. Hope this helps. Mike

Kenneth Caldwell hi Kenneth,
I don’t have any experience balancing the drum. Might be a call to a technician or hopefully other videos out there with info. Good luck.
We have issues with our sometimes when clothes are heavy on one side. Just pretend that arm is still in there and just load the clothes evenly around the tub. Hope that helps.
having the same issue and the machine is just 3yrs old
How can i un lock the controls of my washing machine general electric, please
try holding the start and power button...
Can you show where the pump is
Michael Taunton. Hi, I don’t have the washer anymore but for the most part the pump is under the washer. Should be right front. I tipped mine back against the wall and was able to take out the 2 screws holding it on. There are some hoses that are held on with clamps that need to be removed. Once that was done there was a lot of sand and debris that came out. Sorry I can’t help you any further and hope you find a video.
Here’s the pump location

Do you know how to get this model to spin? Also, how do I find out what the codes are?
Make sure the lid is closed. Hold it down if you have to.
Under the washer there was a technicians manual that has the codes.
www.geappliances.com/ge/recall/washer_2016/
Check here to see if your model was a part of a recall.
@@villagehomeservices6019 The lid is completely closed it even locked but it's still not spinning at all. Do you have any suggestions?
@@Shaqueze89 Did you figure out a solution to your washer? Ours isn't spinning at all and we have no clue.
I took pump out it wants to drain but stuck on cancel
I hope you got it fixed. Try to reset the machine by unplugging.
My washer just click would drain but won’t spin…..any ideas?
Check to make sure the lid is locking. I have a client who is having issues with the washer not starting. Turns out that the lid lock sensor is bad.
Mine is error code 26, clothes comes out wet. Anyway to fix it? Thanks.
Hi Edith,
GE Washer 26 Error Code Error Code Meaning
An out of balance load is detected during the spin cycle.
GE Washer 26 Error Code Error Code Possible Causes
Uneven load distribution.
Excessive basked runout.
Excessive basket friction.
So you will most likely need a part that keeps it balanced.
Call a service technician and sometimes it’s an easy fix if parts are available.
Good luck and let me know how it goes. Also please like and subscribe.
Took orange tube out shake it but still don't work cancel light still on could it be lid switch
Power button do not go off
@@ramonarobichaux2774 did you try unplugging it from the wall to reset it?
Hi Mike.. mine is showed Code”17”,is it same?
Good question. It might be. Unfortunately I don’t have the washer anymore.
Where does the tube connect?
There should be a hose connector where it attaches. It is behind the display panel.
I have this same washing machine and it is not spinning help please how can I fix this
Follow the video instructions to get the error codes then let me know what the code is.
It worked for a few loads but now it won't drain again. Any suggestions??
unplug the unit and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Try pressing the start button and the power button at the same time.
Pls where’s the pump located

how did you know what the codes stand for. These are not in my manual.
Full disclosure this did not fix my washer for very long. It last another week then I decided to replace it. Check for a repair manual that is hidden underneath the washer that has the error codes. You could probably also download the original repair manual from GE
ok, how did you get to the pump?
Katherine Knaul the pump is underneath
Pull the washer out and tip it back against the wall or tip over completely for safety.
Thanks...
My new GE top loader washing machine is too noisy, what can I do?
Make Sure You Aren't Overloading the Washer.
Assess the Machine's Condition.
Prevent the Machine from Vibrating. purchase padded feet or a pad to set it on.... for example I am adding a link to check out. (I haven't used this product and cannot verify its quality)
www.google.com/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjOuI7gjdb1AhXDFdQBHdiiB6MYABAIGgJvYQ&ae=2&sig=AOD64_2oA_v8JLtpewwVyWg9x3IygXVYqA&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwjo2IPgjdb1AhXonGoFHfR3BKgQ9aACegQIARBG&adurl=
Cover the Machine With Blankets.
Pad the Sides of the Machine.
Soundproof the Laundry Room.
Small loads would be easiest to start with. If you have the ability to return the Washer and replace it with a less noisy model then that might be your only option..
Hope this helps.

What do I do if it does not show any codes just the double lines and it says pause and lid lock that’s it
Did you try holding both buttons to get an error code?
Unplug unit.
Plug unit back in. Press down on the lid to see if the lid sensor is bad and press start.
@@villagehomeservices6019 will try when I get home it’s weird because it will spin to drain just won’t spin to wash the clothes like if it gets stuck but yet again when it’s pouring the water down the lid will just open not sure if it’s supposed to

What's a f2
I’m sorry I don’t have the washer or code book anymore. You may be able to do a google search to find it. Hope it works for you!! 🙏🏼
I still get the code 4
I don’t know what code 4 is. You will need to search it on google.
You had it exactly in that machine I been searching and no answer
@@jeanninasilva5309
That’s a software issue. And I don’t have any help for that. Keep searching and maybe there is a video out there or contact a repair person. Hope that helps
What 17 code
debbie watson under the washer is another manufacturer manual that will tell you what the codes are.
Mi lavadora ese molo no ensiende
Lo siento
I dont understand when you say the panel just pop up and flips over....
I am beating the fk out of this washer and theres no panel with an orange tube behind it
You may have a different model than mine. However If I still had mine I would definitely beat mine too 😂. Behind the top panel are two screws that are perpendicular (straight up and down) if you don’t see those two then it’s a different model. Hope you have some satisfaction however you deal with it. Sorry I could not be of more help.
Im starting to dislike GE i have the same washer my Belt & sensor went cost 200$ only had the washer for 18 months
this model was a lemon.... there are thousands of people having issues with this model....

Fealo Roberts I suggest you check to see if the pump is bad. Of it is I would replace the pump.
