Why no Google music?
@@SimpPro101 it's on google play music as well
It's also available on Amazon Music Unlimited.
Not anymore.
Edit: It's back! Thank you
i don't suppose it's possible to own it in any legal way?
This cover was so good it made myspace a usable platform again
dead rn. ty.
So fucking funny. Holy shit.
Lmfao
This comment getting read on air today absolutely did me
Bwahahaha 🤣🤣🤣
love how G flip is having the time of her life
She is ALWAYS having the time of her life, whenever I see her do anything. It is so infectious
I want that job. :^)
I was coming down to write exactly that, she is loving life!
Don’t know who that is but I know exactly who you’re talking about
Who the fuck is G-Flip and how do u actually know these unknown people. Horrible name by the way.
Weird opinion, this song is the Bohemian Rhapsody of the emo generation.
Not weird. Fitting. That whole album was Queen, reimagined dressed all in black.
of the 90s alternative kids generation
I... agree.
This and Muse (either United States of Eurasia or Knights of Cydonia)
Huh... You're right
Congrats, Lord Gerard has spoken
Yes he did
When your cover is so good it makes the original artist nostalgic for it. Big ups. This cover turned me on to this artist as a bonus.
@@quatreryukamime too, turned me hard enough to break ma pants and underwear
LMAO
@@quatreryukami MEEEEE AS FUK!!!
G Flip is the worlds happiest person throughout this performance
Jason Stein That’s her mate 👍
i'm gonna go ahead and assume that's the one with the crash cymbals because holy shit that grin
She always seems stoked as fuck. It’s bloody great
YeaaaH she's definitely rolling. Look at the size of her pupils
Almost as happy as when on stage with Kram at the one night stand.
I'm pretty sure Gflip just lives in the triple j studios
I was upset that G-Flip wasnt on the drums, but I am no longer upset after seeing her play the cymbals and peanut butter jar
Don't forget the shoo bop shoo bops
🙌 🔥
She’s playing timpani, every single drummer or percussionist will be freaking about playing timpani.
I adore the girl with the cymbals. She's absolutely loving it and I'm loving her enthusiasm!
You're making me love life, girl... and I'm here for it.
Her name is G Flip. She’s a muso in her own right.
happiest operator of a symbol on this planet, her happiness is infectious.
@@sarahhill2114 and a bloody good one at that.
Adore G!! Their happiness is infectious xx
Maybe that’s what drew in the LA based real estate agent.
Slap me with black eyeliner & call me Gerard, that is a tune 🤯
Gerard, you are correct ;)
Scott Harmes indeed
Mate, that was my CHILDHOOD! I absolutely loved and still love MY Chem
HELL YEAH!!!!
I've been following Alex Lahey for a while, and I remember this happening and screaming!
I recommend checking her other music out, she's amazing :)
Covering such an iconic song is quite a brave choice, but they did a great job. LOVE IT.
Iconic ? Bit of a stretch lol
@@Timboolin how isn't it iconic? It became the song of basically an entire generation. Who even after growing out of most other emo stuff still have unconditional love for it
Just because some tight Jean wearing kids still like the song years later dont make it iconic lol just makes it a good song
Iconic songs insist of songs like thriller and bohemian rhapsody. This is nowhere close to anything like that. Sorry
@@Timboolin yeah because Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury are known for how baggy their jeans are. Frankly I don't see what makes them different except that when they came out there was less music to choose from, and that they've had longer to establish themselves.
This version was so good, it brought My Chemical Romance out of retirement
andy valente is this The Andy Valente from St Cloud MN ? KVSC Fetus etc. ???
@@ginormousbones nope, must be another of me out there
Now triple J has completely collapsed.... Everyones leaving
Awesome
i hate that ur right
0:56 the sheer joy on the percussionists face is just wonderful
That’s G Flip! They’re a muso in their own right. They’re non binary.
Gotta love G Flip
Crash cymbals will do that to you
God I still get chills Everytime I hear this song. What a masterpiece that whole concept album was.
Yep. Still a great listen from start to finish. Classic.
BUMPING HARD!
"Famous last words" is such a good album finisher.
Every minute. Down to the hidden track 'Blood' True Masterpiece that transcends genres. Fuck it, I'm off to blast it now.
I was never a fan before TBP, but I saw them when they toured the album and it totally rocked.
Gerard posted this on insta. That’s why I’m here :,)
A month later THEY BACK
Me too
Samee!! Btw love ur pfp
Ayy gerrard insta club :D
I'm pleasantly surprised by how many good covers of this song exist! I just found this after hearing Postmodern Jukebox do it, and that was after hearing Melodicka Bros 😁
i know people are talking abour Alex and G flip, but how good is the piano chick?! man she has pipes!!
SO GOOD!
Clio Renner, she stole the show. . .
Clio Renner's backup vocals are pure gold.
She’s very talented
I get a garage band vibe from this in the best way, MCR would be proud
Yep even gerard posted it on insta 🖤
G’s face every time she uses the cymbals 😂😂
I know 😂😂😂😂
I wish I could meet a girl that’s as excited about me as she is about those cymbals
@@laserbeamlightning just have to let her clap your hands together every so often
What a great cover. It takes guts to cover such an iconic track. Truly the anthem of an entire generation.
The smile at the end is just pure ‘yeah, we owned that’.
Love the percussionist in the back ground just having the time of her life smashing those cymbals together haha. Great cover! And I'm a big My Chem fan so I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. :)
Check out the works of G Flip 💗💖💝
I think this is the first MCR cover I actually liked
Gisele Van Hounten I like that they didn’t change the melody or much at all. I think some people try and jazz covers up and ruin it!!
the TØP cover for Cancer wasn't bad. It wasn't nearly as good as the orignial version by MCR, but it ok.
@@steviwoodberry6433 I thought they added a nice ska touch in the bridge section. And while I like Ray Toro, this version definitely had better backing vocals.
Caleb Hyles and Jonathan Young did a pretty epic cover of Famous Last Words about a year ago. Check it out. You might like it I dunno.
I think joey Cooke with pmj nailed it with the new Orleans funeral styling of it
3:35 isn’t anyone going to mention this magic “doowap doowap” piece? And that sensual ‘take a look at me ‘ 🙌
Nice move. This is most played part of the video 😂
This was a spiritual experience for a not-quite-ex-emo not gonna lie
Alex Lahey is my favorite member of Children of Bodom.
Lol very few people will get this joke mate, it's hilarious btw
That right there is brilliant
God damnit. 😂
Underrated comment.
Was looking for this
Insanely brave to cover this song, makes how they nailed it even more of an achievement. One of my favourite LAV's
This cover is so good it brought MCR Back together
True that
one day I hope to be as happy as G Flip playing the cymbals
G Flip's expressions are just priceless 👌🏼🤣
I know I'm late for the party but I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. Not only because the nostalgia of this song hits hard but also because this is a very passionate and beautiful cover. Thank you for that!
I came here to say the same thing but you said it better. Hard to type with these blurry eyes
The fact that these human beigns probably grew up listening to MCR during High School and now are giving a top notch cover is very wholesome.
I can feel in my soul the number of times this was belted out in a car by every one of these people
This is so good! I especially love it when an artist covers a song that was originally sung by someone of a different gender from theirs, yet still keep the gender of the original artist the same when mentioned in the song. That shows a lot of respect to the original artist.
I got chills towards the end... this went HARD
G-flip looks like she walked into Disney, heard the Beatles, tasted bacon, and played with 100 puppies for the first time all at the same time.
wow
That is the most beautiful description I've ever heard
Some artists always do that lol, check out the video for Falkor by Covet and watch the drummer, half the comments on the video are about how happy the guy seems
Seriously, my favourite song, and still gettin bumps after all these years especially when covered so damn well!!!
same hereee
I will never tire of G-Flip's never-ending excitement and happiness
G Flip's living her best life
Salesman:*slaps parade*
This comes in Black.
None blacker
That's not how that meme goes, but good try 6/10.
I'll take two!!!
aw yeah, a man of culture
@@pronumeral1446 if you don't understand that memes evolve this way, then you have no business talking about memes in the first place.
I didn’t know how much I needed those “shoo-bop shoo-bops” until I heard them.
That was so fucking epic! Alex Lahey is a queen!
I love that G Flipp looks so happy to be there 😄
Damn, the drumming & the whole band together were magnificent & the backup singer on the keyboard, wow, Wow, WOW, absolutely FANTASTIC. Who is she, such a great voice??
I literally have no clue who this band is and I was not expecting this. Just absolutely outstanding. She knocked it out of the park.
This is such an underrated song, should be mentioned alongside the all time great songs. I love how she stayed true to the melody and just let her voice be the point of difference, one of the best like a versions I have heard.
The A Train you know this isn’t her song... right??
@@masyn5819 no shit sherlock.
This cover makes me so happy I want to put on eyeliner and cry. >:(
my faith in humanity has officially been restored
Aria McKenna amen!
Before watch : that's okay usually the cover of triple j different than the original
After watch: damn i've been g noted again.....
I love her music so much i was so excited to find this cover
This is mad, she’s so talented! Meanwhile g flip living her best life over there 😂
This is the single best cover of Welcome To The Black Parade I have ever heard! Bravo, I will always remember this!
I like how faithful to the original this is, while still being it’s own version somehow. Fantastic cover.
I love to see the bands play the music live or at least live on video. The effort and energy put into this song is mind blowing. Excellent work.
At 3:50 her voice is full of emotion, gives me goosebumps, great cover 🥰
brb editing this into my Myspace page
MySpace didn’t hear that in a while
The girl in the black and white striped long sleeve knows what's up.
Gerard Way just sent me here and I'm crying. Thanks.
Absolutely nuts! Will be checking Spotify every single day til this shows up there.
It's up on spotify now!!!!
That was emotional, amazing, and unbelievably real.
What a "Like A Version" !!
The rhythmic shift after ‘could not care at all’ always blows me away
the girl on keyboard stole my heart
I’ve been freaking out about this on ig before I even watched it; Alex!!! G flip!!! Like is this a crossover episode!
also I hope this cover blows up, Alex and everyone deserves it
About time someone did MCR lol
About time MCR did themselves
Well, that was good.
Always nice to see a background singer (the keyboardist) who could hold their own as a soloist.
This is the first time I've heard this song since my partner passed (it was his favourite song) and this was the best way to come back to MCR.
Love the totally rad bill and teds ‘ wyld stallions ‘ guitar moment around the 4:20 mark!
Most excellent 🤟
When I heard this on the radio I thought they were kidding about the rice in the peanut butter jar.
I love this version so much!!!
I saw Alex Lahey at Osheaga 2018 and have been a fan ever since. She was so good live!
This might be my favorite Like a Version of all time. God I miss that band.
This was outstanding. Some people talk about things they never knew they needed, but... I've always known I needed this.
I've watched everyday for a month or more now. Just wow!! I would fly to Australia to see her live and perform it.
Such a great cover.
She, along with the whole band are very unassuming. Pure talent on display. Love it.
Fortune favours the brave - and you have to be brave to do a cover of this! You guys did an amazing job. So much raw emotion.
Hi Triple J. How about if G-Flip ever does something like this in support of another band, can we have a video released just of a camera watching her the entire time? She just fills a room with joy
This.

Hella
Wow wow wow! Absolutely crushed it. Totally doing the song justice and then some.
THIS SLAPS i already loved alex and now i love her even more
Gerard Way posted this in his Instagram 🔥
Every time I watch this video it gives me chills and makes me smile, This is The BEST!!
Love it! Saw them in Minneapolis last month and can't wait for them to come back.
Jesus. Guys you are so talented. What energy. I am impressed! We want some more Alex Lahey. From France
Everything about that was epic! One of my favorite all time LAV's
Alex Lahey, Clio Renner and G-Flip covering MCR? Be still my former emo heart
Oodgerooian former?
Holy shatt. This is incredible
I got the same chills I get from the original, damn this is great-I've gotta check out Alex's music now
My tragic little emo heart is exploding. This is everything
They weren’t even emo shut up 😂
Epic cover. Great job Alex and crew!
Alex’s smile at the end is worth living for.
Alex did the song so much justice but G-Flip absolutely loving life and bringing ENERGY to the cover on the cymbals. Seriously iconic.
Absolutely killed it! Never heard of Alex but I'm an OG MCR fan a la 2001. What a smashing cover!!!
I never really like this song or gave it much of a chance until I heard this cover, i love this cover and it definitely let me hear the song in a new light
So glad to see our childhood and teenage youths come back time travelers where you at takes me back to 2006 where I'm still 18 and still in band playing trumpet
Alex Lahey is so amazing
Ya'll,,, who's the girl in the stripey shirt who's doing backup and piano
