I’m 55, they saved me. The first time I heard them coming from daughters bedroom around mid 2000’s, Cemetery Drive, I knew I found my new favorite band. They defined a period in my life when I lost everything, my career, my home, my marriage, one of my daughters but through their music and my biking and running I carried on. I am here because of them. Angst isn’t reserved for teenagers.

But also apparently in the past Lorne Michael's has gone on record saying its a matter of budget. He been asked in the past why he didn't change the audio setup. They choose not to invest in better audio setups because it's easier to buy standardized equipment that they don't have to adjust for bands that's built more around the sketch comedy. Sounding this good on SNL is very hard. Goes to show how talented they really were.

I recently saw the clip where Gerrad Way was on Sally Jessie Raphael. Dude was a soft spoken geek, who absolutely transformed himself. Dude is 100% legit. Was never a fan back in the day but really getting into these guys. Real , pure rock music.
