So is every popular musician lol. It just depends on what genre you like and what bands you look up to most. Like people think mcr is trash while others think they’re the “greatest band of all time”
Sometimes I actually wondered just how much a lot of bands realized how much they actually mean to a lot of people in like how they say is like a lot of people lives like I wonder if they actually realize that or not
During the last chorus, the fact that Gerard just sings the harmonies while the audience is so loud you can hear them singing the main melody gives me chills

is a track about “the risen, the broken, and the damned”, people who have experienced hardship or adversity in life but eventually fight through it and make it out on the other side. The black parade in this song refers to the parade of people who have gone through suffering and have come out the other side stronger and wiser. The chorus repeats the idea of carrying on and carrying through the fears, even when it might seem impossible. The song encourages the listener to stay strong and keep fighting, even when things seem bleak. It is a song about hope, resilience, and courage in the face of adversity.
It is actually about death. The black parade is made out of dead people. And Gerard has expressed his beliefs that when you die, you remember a childhood memory so it explains the patient remembering this parade his dad took him to. The carry on part is about carrying on the memories and legacy of one's death

You know what always gets me? The part where it just repeats, "We'll carry on!" It hurts me so much that I never got to know them back when they were still a band. God, I was 5 years old during this concert. I did listen to music, but it wasn't this type. Now, I discover them, one/two month(s) ago, FOUR YEARS late. And you know what's fucked up? This band has touched my heart more than anything in my life. So yeah. I can't carry on. They're all enjoying their lives, we're enjoying the music that they have made, and that's the best thing anyone could ever ask for.
I can relate to this on a personal level, it's not even funny. I understand your pain, Killjoy. But what's so great about this band is that it influenced so many other bands and when we go searching for some new music, we'll find them. And we'll be glad that we did. Hell, others might even START a band because of them, so don't be sad that they're gone. Be happy because of what they gave us and how many hearts that they've touched. Sincerely, Just Another Killjoy.
This band has gotten me through a lot and I’m so sad that Gerard is 41 now. It’s so unlikely they’ll get back together. I found them a couple months ago and I love them so much. Being a killjoy in 2018 is hard but we have to stick together and we have to try to carry on without them

They might not have a reunion, but hey. At least they once were a band, and this idea of theirs is the one that will carry on.
Sincerely,
Just Another Killjoy.
This band has gotten me through a lot and I’m so sad that Gerard is 41 now. It’s so unlikely they’ll get back together. I found them a couple months ago and I love them so much. Being a killjoy in 2018 is hard but we have to stick together and we have to try to carry on without them
Quiet Brownie i discovered them last month. I always thought they were just emo trash beforehand. Imagine how i feel.
At least it’s not as bad as Chester Bennington’s death..
Me too but regardless I’m a killjoy until I join the black parade and I’m glad I am
Never in my wildest dreams did I think the black parade would come back in 2024 one last time.
Who here is excited?
Hell yeah I’m going to the Philly show
YES !!
Im so happy that they’re gonna have new concerts soon. Its happening people our time has come
I’m seeing them in October!!!!
@@smuckerssammich6366 I hopefully see them in London in may
4:13 the part when the confetti shoots out and the band is playing is so inspirational.
They are so amazing live. It's killing me.
Thank you bob❤ your memory will carry on ❤️🔥
0:59 My favorite line of all time. I hope Gerard will say “Fists in the air!” On the Reunion tour.

So long and goodnight.
Just found out about them a couple months ago. Shame I couldn't see them live. Looks like they put on a great show!
I've fallen in love with Gerard. He looks freaking hot when he sings.
i didn't get into MCR until last year. and now I'm obsessed with them but its too late to see one of their concerts. I guess I'll stick to dancing to their music alone in my room.
Same
+Amy GGunn I'm a Beatles fan, bitch please xD
Amy GGunn And I couldn't even cry for their break up and even worst, they can't comeback anymore. AND YOU DON'T SEE ME CRYING DO YOU?
+Paulo Ferreira Please stop.
The Beatles are overrated, yes they where amazing musicians, and masters of the craft of music, but highly overrated.
"We'll carry on" is such a beautiful message
I can't believe I didn't find them until this year😭 I guess I didn't find them until I really needed them.
Madi H. I found them earlier this year and my life is recked now because of it. In a good way though.
just found them now, and yes, only when i needed them
I am literally trying not to cry right now because I never have and never will see them live.
Just saw them in Glasgow, cannot believe they’ve done a reunion tour. Absolutely unreal.
Oh, the good old times, just pure awesomeness and no crowd recording, just enjoying the moment. I miss this timeline so much :`
Let's all go back to 2005 and be little MCR loving, MySpace addicted freaks again
