Do you want to know why? Some of the songs he plays are written on accoustic guitar in other genres! I know a guy who writes songs for him and other people- and they often are rock songs at first. Allergic is probably the closest song he has that sounds almost exactly how it was written as it's sort of the same tempo and feel and everything
I Fall Apart In Ohio mashup with Hawthorne Heights gives me strength
Ragnar þórhallsson never gets enough credit. His voice is so soothing. I love the parts of the song where he gets to sing unaccompanied.
He is so good thats why I like "stuck in gravity" he is lead and its just amazing. I think he leads in "Empire" as well.
Ragnar has a lot of great moments and songs where he is lead vocals a few more to check out that are amazing songs would be Your Bones off the first album and then also under a dome off fever dream is also a great one that I feel kinda gets over looked but every song they put out has been amazing in my opinion so I’m bias :)

Showcases Post Malone's songwriting ability, somewhat surprisingly. I did like a lot of Hollywood's Bleeding, this song included, but this showcases a simplistic emotional quality to the melody and lyrics of the song that too many would go against on the basis of high gloss production with trap influences

Kevin Parker’s (Tame Impala) involvement with the track has a lot to do with that I reckon.

@@ninjamaddie I can't see Parker having anything to do with this track. He's not listed in personel on wiki nor is he listed on Genius as having any involvement. Am I missing something? edit: turns out Parker had nothing to do with the track it was just a rumour spread by some journo websites.

OMAM looks like the most comfortable band around. Nanna and Ragnar can roll back to bed after the set.
This band impresses more and more with each time I hear them do anything. I can relisten to a song I have heard 10-15 times and I'm impressed again but for yet another little layer of IT being exposed to me. Of Monsters and Men being revealed to me, ha right. The only thing revealed is the fact I am a true fan
As far as me getting to know more who this band is deep inside, I believe I am often left more confused then I was. But I promise also that much more committed to them and their IT . . .
OMAM is an experience. Any fan should see them at least once. My wife and I flew to Denver from Atlanta to see them. They are really good live. And in many venues you can get really close to the stage.
The way they play, give me a wonderful sensation when I'm using my headphones.

This version makes me think of the time I went on a road trip with my girlfriend and had an argument midway. We stopped talking to each other and just our luck, our car breaks down. We get into a huge fight about stupid stuff and went our separate ways, hitching rides on separate cars. On my side of the journey I experienced a bunch of super random events including a runaway giraffe, a nude rooftop concert, a lighthouse falling over, and some other weird stuff. After like 2 weeks of craziness I found a room at a motel and lo and behold my girlfriend was in the next room. We told each other how much we missed one another and made up. To this day I still don't know the full story of her 2 weeks of the split but apparently it was just as wild as mine. But what are the chances we would end up at the same motel in adjacent rooms in a completely different state than we started? Maybe we really are meant for each other.

I'd be worried about not knowing exactly what happened to her in those two weeks, though...
Hate playing the devils advocate, but some transparency on her part would go a long way in achieving some closure on those two weeks, seems like it's bothering you. And you either want to hear it or you don't, that's a decision for you to make. If she isn't comfortable with talking about then that's her choice and you can't make her or bully her into it. Let it go or sort it out, being together will be more of a challenge with that playing on your mind. Don't ask if you don't want to know. Trust is an important part of a relationship.

A brilliant cover of a brilliant song.
Ed Pitts Not a brilliant song at all however this cover does surpass it and make it sound actually decent, they add a completely different tone and story to the song which was completely ruined by requiring the song to tap into mainstream trends and “radio-friendly” tunes.
Of Monsters and Men makes it sound like one of their own, lyrically the song is weak, they at least make it sound beautiful and it definitely helps. This version of Circles is the only one I could actually listen to.
Hence, this is a brilliant cover of a very derivative and “meh” song.
@@haydendutton6916 Hmmmm, I think it's unfair to say the song isn't great - yes they've changed it, but it's still a cover and they obviously love it for a reason. I loathed Post Malone when he showed up but the second album is so much more influenced by Tame Impala - Circles could almost be on Currents (if you lost his voice).
