@@nopetv1053 another comment stated that the new pathfinders no longer carry the CVTs, but as far as all the other ones go, I wouldn’t bother. The biggest and most obvious failure point of any Nissan is the CVTs they carry. They were garbage transmissions since the day they released and are still garbage now. If you don’t maintain them religiously, which almost nobody does because most people don’t maintain their cars well, they’re gonna break. Even if you do maintain them, they’ll probably break anyways. If you’re lucky enough to have this happen under warranty, then while it is an inconvenience, it’s fine. If you’re unlucky enough to have the CVT fail out of warranty, good luck

Nissan’s definitely improved their lineup in the past few years. I’d still never buy one, or even bother touching a Nissan with a CVT
