I didn't know there was a Sony branded Odin!! Cool stuff! I wish I knew how to recompile a ROM using the existed decompiler program so I could make a PC port of Road Rash 64! But that not the subject of this video! But all the QOL additions are pretty amazing!
This is the Base Odin 2 modded with buttons, sticks and a sticker logo by SakuraRetroModding. He doesn't sell the stickers, they were more of a gift for showcasing his stuff on my channel.
I tried installing this on my android TV box (it's the Onn one from 2021), but there are major audio issues. I only hear buzzing. It does run though. I was excited for this but it looks like I'll have to wait longer for this one to bake ..
Hmm that's really odd, yeah I suppose if they offer another Audio API in the future that might fix that. If it was me I'd be tempted to try a different rom and reinstall the whole thing just in case to be sure
I guess it's worth a try but I doubt it will fix anything. I installed it on my PC first to generate the O2R and it works perfectly there. When I install on Android and move the O2R over then the audio is broken. Everything boots and it doesn't throw any errors, but the audio is just glitched. So it must not be a problem with the rom or ripping the O2R but with the android port itself.
2 ship 2 is not working with my Teclast m40 pro gaming tablet. However the Ship of Harkinian with the 3ds mod works perfectly at 60fps with no hiccups using an ipega 9026 s. I'm not sure if 2ship 2 is ready for android phone or tablet yet.
I didn't think people would wonder about this haha. You can map it to whatever you want! Unless a game uses the C buttons as a camera it doesn't make a lot of sense to map them to a stick. I mapped them as: C-Up = L1, C-Left = R1 C-Right = X C-Down = A I showed in the Ocarina of Time port video that I set them this way so the Ocarina felt natural to play going from the high note on L1 to the low note on B. But you can set them to whatever available buttons you prefer. You also can set items to the D-Pad in this port so besides C-Up you technically don't need the other C buttons.
Thanks for the video! Do you know if there’s a way to continue a save? I started a while back on N64 (Emulator) and don’t want to start everything again. Thanks!
I'm not sure, with the Ocarina of Time Ship of Harkonian you could transfile a .sav file to "Android\data\com.dishii.soh\files\Save", for Majora's Mask the path is "Android\data\com.dishii.mm\files\saves" but the file is a JSON file so if you're able to make anything out of that then there is hope!
I guess that makes sense as I saw some people say they preferred to use the US version of Majora's Mask that came in a Gamecube collector's edition? I wasn't sure if that would work on Android though.
same question, both seem like the same outcome to me, i was expecting the game to have its own virtual stick and in-game buttons with game elements icons without on screen emulator buttons
Higher FPS, the ability to change various settings, camera control on the second analog stick, wide screen. There is no reason to play the N64 version anymore.
Good video Alex. Plonked it on the Pocket Air this morning. Looks pretty gorgeous on that OLED.
I hope 2ship2harknian will be supported heavily with tons of mods just like Ship of Harknian (Ocarina of Time)
Hell yeah, I knew about the PC port and that Android wouldn't be far behind, but I didn't think it would be this soon :D
This channel is amazing, I love pretty much everything you showcase!
YES!!!!!!! ODIN 2 MINI MAJORAS MASK!!!!! LETS GOOOO

Ahh...got it!
Very cool!

I wonder if there are other ports.
Would love a video once some mods are released
Which rom should I use
Waited 10 minutes on the Odin 1 base model didnt come nothig after i choose the rom stays in black screen for 10 minutes ..

What front is that? Emulation Station?
If the right stick is now camera, what did you set the c buttons to? Thanks for the video.
came
here fore this answer too!
You can use R2, X and Y it’s sort of awkward at first. I think there’s also a setting to be able to use the dpad and 4 extra c buttons
The DPad
I didn't think people would wonder about this haha. You can map it to whatever you want! Unless a game uses the C buttons as a camera it doesn't make a lot of sense to map them to a stick. I mapped them as:
C-Up = L1,

Where did you get those translucent joysticks for the odin 2?
They're from SakuraRetroModding on Etsy.

@@-roetaka appreciate it!
What about touch controls for people dont have odin but regular Android
Touch is not supported in either port of OOT/MM. Bluetooth controller is the only way.
@@jamessillas2247 for now probably because they have to add controls later on
ps only the us version compatible
Thanks for the clarification, it didn't say that on the github page
it doesn't need to be called MM.z64 or be a .z64 file, a .v64 works as well
Oh thanks for the info! The github page said MM.z64 specifically so I wanted to follow it to a T.
I guess that makes sense as I saw some people say they preferred to use the US version of Majora's Mask that came in a Gamecube collector's edition? I wasn't sure if that would work on Android though.
What’s the benefit of this versus running it emulated on eg n64??

Y la rom
