Great video, as for the best way to play Majora's Mask I'd say it's the 3D version with the Project Restoration patch. Reverts all the bad changes and keeps all the good, adds D-pad mask switching and other cool stuff, and still lets you play on a homebrewed 3DS.
For the C-Button for the Ocarina you can still use the D-Pad and Right Stick while playing the Ocarina, but still have there extra functionality while doing everything else.
@@droidhacking Settings->Controller->Additional There will be a drop down for Ocarina Controls, there will be an alternate controls option with the toggles for it. This will allow you to use the D-Pad or Right Stick while using the Ocarina for C-Buttons, but retain the mapping when doing everything else.
thanks for making this, I've been keeping an eye out for an android version of ship of harkinian for a while. I did actually start a playthrough recently but I think I'll start over on this. It's interesting you say that about the odin 2, I have an odin lite and I really love it but the amount of praise I hear for the odin 2 has me a bit jealous. I just can't really warrant buying another device like it so soon, but each time it does tempt me a bit. It's less about spending the money and more about the old (but still perfectly fine) one just ending up in a drawer or something.
Honestly I understand. I bought my Odin 2 about three months ago now and I had to sell my Retroid Pocket Flip, so that it wouldn't just sit there unused
I totally get that. I got my original Odin Pro in the first indiegogo campaign and after a year and a half, they sent me a replacement because my original screen was defective. When the replacement arrived in the mail, brand new, the price for the Odin had skyrocketed on Ebay and my Steam Deck preorder had just opened, so I was able to fund that, just from the sale of my Odin, including a 512gb sd card. I've had my eye on the Odin again, because I miss it so much. The Deck is great, don't get my wrong, it's just very bulky and the battery life doesn't make it too good for travelling. Given all the positive reviews for the Odin 2, I couldn't ignore it. I figured the use cases for the two devices are so different. Android vs PC give you very different gaming options. I have ordered the white Odin 2 Pro (I got the pro because a few people have said the base can't do much switch emulation) and I'm waiting for the early March shipping. The Odin Lite always appealed to me. Good enough for all emulation up to N64/PSP, but still relatively affordable. The Odin platform is so comfortable and enjoyable. Well done for resisting the urge to upgrade. I have so many handhelds just lying in a cupboard somewhere.
Thanks! Out of curiosity, because I really have no desire to play Zelda OT for the 150th time 😁, I just installed it on the Potato Samsung A9+ tablet that I watched the video on and it runs just fine at 1080p 90Hz. Looks really smooth.
The basic game runs smoothly, but I couldn't use the mod support. I was going to install the 3D mode for Android, but it says I don't have access to data, so I can't create a files or mods folder, what should I do?
I tried adding the 3DS mods to a mods folder and they don't seem to work. does that mods folder need to live somewhere specific on Android? Because I got it to work on PC. Thank you for the video! I can't wait to hop into OoT again on my new Odin 2!
fun fact, you can use something like the vitureXR Pro glasses and play in 3D.. just get their USB-C splitter adapter to charge and play at the same time
I’ll ask a question that my friends always ask me. Will this make you actually play through this game fully?😂 I love to tinker but rarely do I play through games on my Odin 2 fully even if I have an amazing apk like this or an hd texture pack that makes the game look completely different
For me, I love setting up these devices and having options. Who knows if one day I'll grab it, have a look and go "damn, I totally could crush Zelda right now" (possibly bad phrasing lol). But sometimes I do something like this and it does get me excited to play, I think this is how I'd play OoT if I went to replay it again.
Hello can you please make a video on the 3ds citra to make the right stick camera free for the Ocarina 3ds rom I have been trying and having no luck and I really want to play this game on my Odin 2
As someone who has never played ocarina of time before what would you recommend n64 models or 3ds? I was thinking of playing it later on this year so i wanted to get opinions on it
This looks so impressive! I've never beaten OoT, but I got close back on the 3DS. Looks like the best time to give it another go on my RP4P. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what is that dock you have back there, behind your keyboard? I've been looking to get a dock of some sort for my RP4P, and that one looks nice and low profile.
That is the Odin 2 Super Dock, I'm not sure if it works with the RP4P's USB-C and because of its placement it isn't aligned center...for the sake of the video I just put it there when I wasn't using it lol. There are probably better alternative docks for the RP4P.
The current one is actually from SakuraRetroModding as a thank you for showing his buttons on my channel, but I used a similar that I bought from etsy but that was a couple of years ago now. If you go to etsy and look for playstation logo stickers I'm sure you'll find a store close to your country that is making them, just be careful of the size you're getting before ordering.
I'm definitely going to have to give this a try. Just having full camera control with the right stick will make this game so much more enjoyable.

How to use autosave and savestate?
I have a question, is it possible to play the game using switch joycons?
Nice game, now i need to fiind the money to buy that device, maybe in 4 years. :))
does this work on chromebook
I would have to say no given it's a port for Android.
It runs choppy after a fresh install on odin 2.

You have to have a physical control pad. It doesn't accept touchscreen input
