July 2024 update - For those of you with the RG35XX H, if you can't access the menu (L3 followed by X and R1), try reinstalling SoH via Portmaster and skip the "Deku Stick Fix" part of this video. You should now be able to access the menu normally (at least it worked for me). It looks like the original Portmaster version has been fixed/updated so I'm guessing that updating the files manually was causing issues with accessing the menu.
If you can't run Ship of Harkinian 2 on the portmaster, do the following (my handheld console is 'RG351P'): 1- COPY ALL FILES FROM THE 'LIBS' FOLDER OF THE SHIP OF HARKINIAN (WHICH RUN TLOZ OCARINA OF TIME). 2- PASTE THESE FILES IN THE 'LIBS' FOLDER ON THE SHIP OF HARKINIAN 2 (WITH RUNNING TLOZ MAJORA MASK). IF A MESSAGE APPEARS ASKING YOU TO REPLACE THE FILES, YOU CAN ACCEPT. 3- FOLLOW THE TUTORIAL ON THE PORTMASTER WEBSITE NORMALLY.

Hey thank you so much for making this video! For some reason when following your steps exactly and starting the game the ship splash screen shows up but then its just a black screen. It works fine on windows and I'm using KNULLI, so that could also be the issue.
After pressing L3 to show the menu, press and hold the X button until it shows a dialog box that has "main menu" option then press R1 to highlight and select this option. Now, press the X button again and it should move the cursor to the top and allow you to navigate using the dpad

Hello, i followed the steps up to 12:22 of the video, but when i try to change presets i cant because the file "config.ini" is missing on the archives, there is no way i can change the configs, i need to do something before to make the file to appear ?
Looks like portmaster updated the install. I believe they fixed the settings so that you can configure them with the menu. Press and hold the X button then R1. Then press X again. This should select the menu where you can update the settings.
Awesome guide. I followed it and it worked like a charm until I got to jabu jabu's belly. The game crashes whenever I try to enter the third room. Is there a fix?
Is it normal that it stutters quite a lot when fps is unlocked to 60? I know the RG35XXSP is not really a powerhouse but I'm just wondering if it's a problem on my end..
Works on TSP in knulli but not stock. You need the deku stick crash fix as well Menus are a bit laggy but gameplay is ok. I finished the deku tree dungeon without issues with texture mods enabled Game looks great at 16:9

tried it on my RGB30 with ArkOS and it works However, the deku stick fix that i describe in the video doesn't work. Instead of using the video method, you need to download the Deku_Stick_Fix.otr from the Portmaster discord and place it in your mods folder then enable custom textures discordapp.com/channels/1122861252088172575/1225971159565078598/1242812650010968185 From my understanding, there may still be an issue with the ice cavern later in the game though.
You need to build the oot.otr file using a computer first. I used a Windows PC to build the file so I had to download the windows installation from the soh main site to compile the oot.otr file

I have not encountered that issue but you can ask in the portmaster discord to see if anyone else has run into this issue before

I can't push it to 60fps so I think it's just the limit of the device

Depends on the firmware, you might need to try the Y button instead
