BOOM! later a scientist is trying to study her. she spins a roulette wheel, and it come up "00" several times, then the lights in the lab flicker... she then flips a coin repeatedly... *and makes it land on edge twice in a row* ! later yet a villain drags her along on a heist and steals some sort of Laser weapon, using her to Jinx the security. he then lets her go, and Wonder Woman asks her if she knows what the villain intends to do next. she says she heard him say something about causing a city-wide blackout. that's all I remember of that episode.
What do you expect, his computer runs on Yorkshire Tea, cooled by Yorkshire Tea, and he’s drinking, you guessed it, Yorkshire Tea. No game could possibly dip his fps below 60.
I'm going to disagree with this game being high quality. But, it's interesting and fun to play - and that's what is most important. AAA games who pour millions to obtain a movie license, make thousands 4k top-quality textures of various types of refuse and then make a gloomy, dull and boring game should take note. I'm looking at you, GOLLUM. All as long as the game doesn't glitch/crash often enough to cause much grief.

And even when I played the game a lot (I got 100% achievements a few months after release, although they've since added more), I never had a crash and glitches were pretty rare as well. Just the occasional item or chest spawning under the floor, which only really happens when you've already broken the game.

Just to make some context on the gameplay: Spiff's gameplay is on a recent (about 2-3 weeks old) BETA version and this entire Luck system got rebalanced in the LIVE version, that released this week, by replacing this Universal Luck stat with having Individual Luck bonuses for specific stuff (weapon/ability luck, perk luck, totem luck, loot rarity luck). So basically Spiff got really lucky and fast to be able to make this video because it was only from a couple days to a week (2 days for this luck system in the video and a week for the nerfed version of this luck system) until this universal luck or this (sort of) broken version of the game lived then got rebalanced. My point is the game's not this broken in the live versions anymore (at least on the harder difficulties) and you will not get bored soon in case you might want to try this game out.

You're all thinking too small: this is an AC-130 if ever I've seen one. Floating majestically above the battlefield, doing lazy circles while multiple gunners lay down hellfire upon the poor souls below, utterly untouchable.
I'm surprised Spiff didn't choose either the minigun or laser cannons. The fire rate on both of them are already high, but with a few upgrades you can completely break the game with fire rate alone.
Bought this game after watching and cant stop playing it xD Its actually crazy how stable the game is considering most triple A games would freak out and crash if it had so much going on on the screen at one time, up over level 400 now with about 100 different effects going on at one time yet the game is so smooth. Love it

He doesn't even need to think about destroying them. If he so much as thinks of going faster, cosmic rays explode out of his feet to clear the path around him.

The "Risk Of Rain" Franchise, primarily 2, also has this idea, where the goal is to become op and build unique builds to become op, you should make a video on it. (also the music is one of the best in gaming as a whole)

I was just scrolling through you tube last night and was thinking man spiff hasn't extorted anything lately I hope he is okay. So this has made my day!
You can also do a run almost exclusively based on shop upgrades. Crystal Dividends, specifically, is a _super_ easy way to stack profits to the point that the game literally cannot give you any more money, or risk a negative integer overflow. Stack that with Tony's Black Card, Special Delivery, and Tony's Amulet, and you'll be able to buy near-limitless abilities and upgrades to the point where it's astonishing that Tony doesn't personally break your legs for your blatant highway robbery of his shop.
Man in the beginning I’m thinking “oh selling the discounted item for full price is a good exploit, I’m sure that will help him a lot” and then seeing him with almost 3 billion crystals made me realize just how pointless that exploit was

(Also, to clarify, as I called them differently, if you don't know, Roguelikes are, each run, you start from zero again (maybe with new upgrades that can be unlocked and then found during future runs) Roguelites, you can get upgrades after runs that you start future runs with.)
According to my calculations, 10,000% luck is the highest soft cap the luck stat can have, and anything higher than that does nothing to actually improve anything. At that high, everything that has a chance of something positive happening, is just happening every single time, assuming none of them have a base chance under 1%. You stopped taking damage when it was at 1,250% though, which is enough to bring that 8% chance of not taking damage all the way up to 100% chance of not taking damage.
@thespiffingbrit I managed to hit an integer overflow and items in the shop cost zero credits. It took to about level 240 and I was able to hit the maximum crystal value I could hold (in game counter stopped going up around 4.5 billion) and legendary shop items cost zero with no discounts applied. Thank you for showing me the game (bought it because of this video) as I took it and looked for a way to break it beyond what you showed us in this video.
Ah, you see, the 75% cap is exclusively to the bulletproof relic itself. Spiff had only 8% bulletproof out of a possible 75% max. The luck modification to bulletproof exists *outside* of that cap.
Great showcase of how this game is meant to be played. This kinda reminded me of my first "break". Getting rigged totems twice or thrice and then spamming this totem that may double your max hp. Then getting gold coating which gives you money, when you heal. After that you could just buy hearts to generate money.
as someone who is tremendously into this game already with my best friends, lemme just say, that as much as spiff made this game look super fun, somehow he actually *undersold* how incredibly fun this game actually is to play XD and too bad he couldn't show what the *music* sounds like, it's really great too! honestly, guys, this game is a no-brainer, go get it. my best friends and I, not *one* of us are normally into shooters like, at *all*, and yet each and every one of us got addicted the very first time we played it XD it's soooooooo hilarious and crazy and satisfying, go try it!!
Its a shame that you've picked it up after the latest update. The breakability was so much worse prior, I had a run that gave me 500+ chests per island and each chest had 256 items. And I could take every item from every chest... I had crystal counts in the billions 🤣🤣 EDIT: I believe its still possible. I love this game lol
I feel like this video is a bit misleading, only because as far as I saw it isn't mentioned that this was played on The Beta Branch of the game, and used mechanics that ended up getting dropped entirely. I don't see any mention of this in the Video Description nor the Pinned Comment. It is worth noting that even without the overpowered Luck mechanics that didn't make it into the live branch (nor are they currently in the Beta), you can have really snowbally builds like this, but they usually take a little bit more time lol

ok, props to the game dev. I know you have a powerful computer, but I'm at 19:00 and I didn't notice a SINGLE chug with all the VFX happening.... it is unbelievable
This game is one of the best roguelike shooters on the market, the soundtrack is phenomenal, it's so well optimized that it could run on a calculator, and it's only $10 on Steam. (And you can play on higher difficulties if you want to slow your ascent to godhood and have a bit more of a challenge)
I haven't played since before this relic update, but I will be excited to get back on! One somewhat exploit my friend and I use is to share/swap perks when making purchases or opening chests. In general, it is always helpful to trade loop with a friend so you are more likely to make a specific, tailored build, but we often ended up trading things like streamer loot, gold dice, and faulty chests to get loads more loot by the end of our run. I also like to rebind both the grenade and melee buttons to one mouse button. Works like a charm.
By the time this was uploaded the luck stat has vanished but healing and economy is very much broken once you get the right things. Like get money for each heal then heal on leverl entry for 45 seconds. then 0one where you ger money when going to an island but losing health too. xD
you remind me of my first run that i had, instead of enemies dropping loot left and right, i had so many chests lined up that i almost couldn't see the end of the line
im so glad you played this game, as i am a crab champion myself! my favorite build is maxing out homing bullets and duplicating my shots until all i have to do is look straight up and shoot to kill everything that spawns

I managed to hit an integer overflow and items in the shop cost zero credits. It took to about level 240 and I was able to hit the maximum crystal value I could hold (in game counter stopped going up around 4.5 billion) and legendary shop items cost zero with no discounts applied.
Thank you for showing me the game (bought it because of this video) as I took it and looked for a way to break it beyond what you showed us in this video.
Unless there's another relic that prevents damage, the bulletproof is capped at 75% based on its description.
Ah, you see, the 75% cap is exclusively to the bulletproof relic itself. Spiff had only 8% bulletproof out of a possible 75% max. The luck modification to bulletproof exists *outside* of that cap.
Great showcase of how this game is meant to be played.
This kinda reminded me of my first "break". Getting rigged totems twice or thrice and then spamming this totem that may double your max hp. Then getting gold coating which gives you money, when you heal. After that you could just buy hearts to generate money.

if you stack enough visual damage effects you can feel your computer get nice and toasty

as someone who is tremendously into this game already with my best friends, lemme just say, that as much as spiff made this game look super fun, somehow he actually *undersold* how incredibly fun this game actually is to play XD and too bad he couldn't show what the *music* sounds like, it's really great too! honestly, guys, this game is a no-brainer, go get it. my best friends and I, not *one* of us are normally into shooters like, at *all*, and yet each and every one of us got addicted the very first time we played it XD it's soooooooo hilarious and crazy and satisfying, go try it!!
Its a shame that you've picked it up after the latest update. The breakability was so much worse prior, I had a run that gave me 500+ chests per island and each chest had 256 items. And I could take every item from every chest... I had crystal counts in the billions 🤣🤣

I feel like this video is a bit misleading, only because as far as I saw it isn't mentioned that this was played on The Beta Branch of the game, and used mechanics that ended up getting dropped entirely. I don't see any mention of this in the Video Description nor the Pinned Comment.
It is worth noting that even without the overpowered Luck mechanics that didn't make it into the live branch (nor are they currently in the Beta), you can have really snowbally builds like this, but they usually take a little bit more time lol
would watch more of this game from you, simply the best crab champions run I've ever seen.

ok, props to the game dev. I know you have a powerful computer, but I'm at 19:00 and I didn't notice a SINGLE chug with all the VFX happening.... it is unbelievable

This game is one of the best roguelike shooters on the market, the soundtrack is phenomenal, it's so well optimized that it could run on a calculator, and it's only $10 on Steam. (And you can play on higher difficulties if you want to slow your ascent to godhood and have a bit more of a challenge)
I haven't played since before this relic update, but I will be excited to get back on! One somewhat exploit my friend and I use is to share/swap perks when making purchases or opening chests. In general, it is always helpful to trade loop with a friend so you are more likely to make a specific, tailored build, but we often ended up trading things like streamer loot, gold dice, and faulty chests to get loads more loot by the end of our run. I also like to rebind both the grenade and melee buttons to one mouse button. Works like a charm.
By the time this was uploaded the luck stat has vanished but healing and economy is very much broken once you get the right things. Like get money for each heal then heal on leverl entry for 45 seconds. then 0one where you ger money when going to an island but losing health too. xD
Who ever gave this crab a gun is doomed.
I only know Crab Rave because of Linus Tech Tips and them using it to test audio. Nice to see the creator made a game!

im so glad you played this game, as i am a crab champion myself! my favorite build is maxing out homing bullets and duplicating my shots until all i have to do is look straight up and shoot to kill everything that spawns
