Great Review! Definitely a pet peeve that most raw denim jackets have such short lengths. It's understandable that that's the way they were traditionally made, but that's no excuse for me!
At the time, I was 20.5” pit to pit and the medium was great…I’ve put some weight on since so this fits undone still but ideally I’d be 22” pit to pit currently so a large would fit better.
How about the sleeve length? I’m 6’2” and 165 so the issue that I run into is that I size down to get a fitted look in the torso and then the sleeves are too short. Iron Heart products are usually great because their sleeves run longer than most but curious about this option as well. Thanks.
Unfortunately you’d either have to size up or deal with short sleeves, sorry man. I’m 6’1, 180 and the medium is good for me but my arms are on the shorter side. A medium might work for you sleeve wise but would be a little bit roomy in the fit. Ever thought about getting a custom Viapiana? Pricey but you’d get a perfect fit. You’re measurements are pretty unique, must be tough to get the right fit!
@@hanklaw6062 I haven’t had luck with iron heart jacket fits…to get a length I’m happy with I have to go XL but it’s way too big in fit for me. That’s why I like the extra length on these Unbranded Jackets…they’ve got a 22oz slub jacket just released but I’ve got no money 😫
Personally I’d go for a medium, it’ll be a little roomy but should be good if you like to wear a hoodie under in the cooler temperatures. Have a great day!

Great video! I have this jacket too. Just wondering, how do you wash it? I have sweat/deodorant stains in mine
I machine washed mine on cold, no detergent and hung to dry. Came out great and didn’t shrink!

I'm a bit skinner than you but 6'2" as well. What size(s) would typically fit you from Iron Heart, out of curiosity?
@@hanklaw6062 I’m typically a large in IH. My IHSH-33T denim western has 18”shoulders 22” chest 21” waist and 36” sleeves. That works well form me.

It fits slightly longer and a tiny bit snugger when buttoned up 👍

Yes, very similar! Maybe a touch smaller than Levi’s but not by much
