- Ah yes, Fall jackets. Autumn jackets. Jackets for when it's actually getting a wee bit chilly in the air! It's the best time of year. A good jacket is the best. You can wear it and people will say "wow what a nice fall jacket!". That'd be amazing. Anyways put down your pumpkin spice latte from Dunkin' or Starbucks and get to watching!
Today we are looking at the best (imo) leather jackets from Taylor Stitch & Schott, the best raw selvedge denim jacket from Freenote Cloth, two amazing chore coats from Taylor Stitch (in herringbone and corduroy) and FINALLY A BONUS! I’ve been watching youtube almost everyday for 10 years, naturally seen so much that I tend to take for granted the work put into videos by creators. Something about your recent streak of videos has made me snap out of that and truly appreciate the quality being delivered. Everything just works so well, the personality, the storytelling intertwined with informational parts. Lovely shots and lovely colouring as well!

Fully agree and beautifully worded! There is no channel out there quite like it, and that's a real feat considering how many content creators there are out there. The Iron Snail needs way more subs, but I feel that they will come slowly.

I just bought a Carhartt Rough Cut, its a 9.4oz 90% nylon 10% elastane with a poly liner, as well as being wind and water proof it is super comfortable. But if its not raining ill stick to my trusty firm duck coat. Love fall most fashionable time of the year, layers on layers!

LOVE my freenote classic den jack but do have to point out; though I personally suffer from trex arms, do find the sleeves to be longer than most cuts. Just be prepared to cuff your sleeves.

the flap thing for the arms / back on the jacket help when extending your arms when reaching for the handle bars. so don't mess with it if you really are looking to get a bike.
Michael!! You should definitely check out Paynter, I think you’d love their jackets. I was lucky enough to get a corduroy one last year and the stuff is really cool, made-to-order, amazing materials.

A quick word about Taylor Stitch and my experience with them. Last year I bought a flannel from them called the Yosemite shirt. I was very excited to receive it and wear it and when I got it, I fell in love with it right away. The flannel is thick and soft as a blanket but after only 3 wears, it ripped at the cuff. This was pretty heart breaking given that these shirts cost 125 dollars. I think you'd be better off just buying flannel shirts from a different company, or perhaps my shirt was the only fluke, whatever the case, I will not be buying from them again, despite the fact that all of the stuff they offer is really good looking and modern, at least not at the price they charge.
I’ve heard some stories like that from TS (and almost every brand) I did hear that they have top notch customer service though so that surely helps!
@@TheIronSnail I reached out to them and they said I could go get it fixed by a tailor and that they would reimburse me with store credit….. no thanks.

My wife bought me a dehen shawl sweater and yeah, it’s bullet proof. I really hope they restock their wool hoodies soon. And the RGT jacket is pretty amazing I just haven’t had much chance to wear it.

I believe the woolen wool you're talking about might also be called roving, I've seen that in reference to hand knitting yarns. Not sure though cause I don't really use it.

I got a 16oz selvedge denim type II from Best made last year for $70 on sale. Nihon Menpu fabric and sewn in the USA, Best made is awesome if you can catch their stuff on sale.

This is probably way too late, but in my experience I'd say two things that might be causing those running issues are not having enough food and/water in you or running too fast.
Dude, freenote cloth 100%... i sold every other denim jacket i owned when i got mine, it is the perfect trucker denim... that perfect mix of work wear and a little bit western.... also its cool that thier signature design isnt just a levis type 1,2,or 3 copy

I have 2 Dehen cardigans, one shawled (same color as yours) and the other not (loden color). Looking forward to getting one more (old gold color, need a pop of color in my wardrobe). You had me worried there, I had mistaken that you said Dehen had been bought out. Also wool is warm when it is wet, so good test.

Hey Michael, Michael here. I just went to 10ft single in brooklyn (amazing store btw) to try to find a denim jacket and was kinda overwhelmed with the options. Wondering if you had any advice on a general fit for a denim jacket (they all felt a little high on the waist, not sure if that's intentional or not). Also any word on if you're planning on dropping your Iron Snail Jacket soon, i'd definitely want to pick one up. Thanks!

It’s tough, they sit hire on the waist because they are vintage and people used to wear their pants higher! To get a longer cut you have to go modern

one of the best times to buy a motorcycle is when things get cooler or too cold for riding. prices drop. so if you still are looking for a bike. it might be a good time look around for one online. get a used one. maybe from a dealer so it's nice and cleaned up and working.

That leather jacket is on the money I would not change it , when it softens with wear it will sit better.
The fit is just one of those things that you feel is a problem but nobody else notices.

This is a great question…you can’t really at the end of the day but it’s cool to have a jacket where everything on it is just best of the best top quality made in small batches by some guys in LA!
