I have 2014 iron rangers in 9d and 2014 beckmans in 9ee and when the beckman broke in my foot is swimming in it to the point that i have to use an insole or atleast 2 thick socks. The iron ranger in 9d is just right though.

What size are you wearing 42 44 46 ? Japanese sizes are always tricky..

Gustin's jeans are great, in my experience. Their shirts are a different story, though. The fit is pretty good, and the fabric is fine, but the damn tags they use are the worst! I've ended up cutting them out every time I bought their t-shirts because they're so uncomfortable.

The way the fabric panels crease is not flattering. I can't think of another style of show that uses fabric and creases that way. It does look cool for coats and pants though. Also, going by that sole I definitely would not hike on those, that's a casual or work boot.

Those look decent enough for the money but they're not a one-piece like the famous Danner ones, blah, blah. The cork might be problematic for continued comfort and need a rebuild eventually, but should last longer than foam?

Yes, I have kind of a similar problem in that brannock my feet aren't technically WIDE at all, but up front they usually feel tight but then going wider, suddenly the rest is loose. [But those boots cost three times more, etc.] I guess the only REAL solution is pay and wait for full CUSTOM [true bespoke instead of MTO or even MTM].

I'd really like to order from Gustin but their website is an endless loop of sign in errors and I literally can't get it to work long enough to order anything.

worth mentioning that you are getting usa made japan selvage for only 161 bucks plus tax and shipping. not bad considering youd be hard pressed to find these elsewhere for under 250 or more. also sizing is important to check because they dont use vanity sizing and these will shrink.

Yeah that rise isn’t to my liking on the straights and I’m not trying to wear jeans that are 2 full sizes too big on me. 35 is loose enough for me and 36 or 37 would just be insane. Good looking jeans though!

Sitting here watching this, wearing the same jeans. I’m 20 wears in and really digging these jeans. Beee. Wearing them in the heat the past week as well, and they fit works well for the warmer days.

Hey thanks for the review, is the thin backpack too small? Confused between the normal and thin front pocket. I usually carry a camera, couple of lenses a laptop and an ipad.

Just so you know, more brogue = more casual. Those boots are full brogue which means they are the most casual style you can get. Formal dress shoes should optimally not have any brogue on them. Once you start adding the punched holes you’re bringing them down in formality. So, those boots are not dressy at all. Tricker’s makes some of the best boots too. You should wear them more often.

For anyone wondering because I went through this, I am a SMALL dude. Im 5'6" 115 pounds soaking wet, so obviously its hard to find clothes that look tailor made. I went with the smallest size possible, a small slim. I got the jacket and immediately knew right out the box it was going to look great. It fit very nicely. Unfortunately The one i had came with a severe scuff on the sleeve. I had to send it back but the exchange process was seamless and fast. BUT the jacket looked so dang good and smelled so good i contemplated keeping it because i didnt want to part with it lol. After realizing that this thing wasnt cheap i bit the bullet and sent it back because obviously we all wnat what we paid for. But im just saying, its the first time i was ever this excited over a clothing item.

These look really nice. I'm wearing my Craft and Glory boots right now. And I must agree, the quality is great and the QC was top notch. Mine came looking flawless and fit great right out of the box. The foot tracing and measurements are great to get the perfect fit.

Many people have reported the sleeves being longer than listed on site due to letting the sleeves crease to your fit over time? I just want to see the difference between reality and what's listed on site for both of these so I can make the right decision about size

For the money, these are absolutely 100% worth the price. I own two of them. They are made from original jacket patterns so what that means is that they were made for very young fit people in the 40's. Compared to today, people back then we're much, much, much thinner. So if you're a fat f*ck packing on the pounds, these jackets are not for you. At the very least you will need to size up, maybe way up. My only complaint with this company is that they ship their jackets out in a bag not a box so be prepared for the jackets to arrive very wrinkled.
