The scariest part of the scene for me is always how he was covered in blood when he walked out.... We see from the first guy's death that Homelander would not get himself dirty when he's just executing these regular men with guns. The only explanation of how he got that messy afterwards is that the other guys in the room suffered much much much worse deaths than the first guy... He likely tortured them in ways beyond imagination trying to find out where Ryan is.
He wouldn’t have time to torture - - after he realised they were just expendable soldiers - he probably offed them quick but brutally.
Wonder how this fight would’ve gone with omni man or zod in the room.
The scariest part of this video for me was the horrible outro that they put at the end

I get the Omniman and Homelander debate but y'all gotta remember. Not only is Homelander outclassed by Omniman he's also never had an actual fight. Sure he's killed A bunch of people but he's never went head up with ANYONE that was either just as strong if not stronger than himself. Someone with decades of combat experience and A massive power gap against someone without any experience ends up like season 1 of Invincible. Not to mention the durability coming into play. A more fair matchup MIGHT be Invincible vs Homelander. And even still Homelander is at A disadvantage. 🤷🏿♂️

Hoped the guy who went up the second floor stayed as quiet as humanly possible. Imagine escaping death like that. Being able to hear all your teammates scream in terror, gunshots all over the place meanwhile this guy was standing there, absolutely freezed. Trying to lower his heart beat, while listening Homelander torturing the rest of the squad. Suddenly everything is calm Homelander walks out the cabin and flies away breaking the sound barrier as he leaves. Imagine the guy not being able to move for hours after that until his legs give up and he falls flat to the ground completely exhausted. Weeping like a baby in silence. The guy couldn't gather enough courage to come down until the very next day. The sight of his team massacred all over the place is just to much for him to handle. From that day on he retired from that life and left the country for good living with a massive PTSD caused by Homelander.
Homelander has super hearing so I doubt that guy lived

the most scariest part of this scene is when he politely closed the door with a sinister look on his face blocking the door then before their path, and left out the same door he came in covered with blood
The scariest part of this scene for me was the jacked up volume for the advertisement at the end.

Much more exploitable than Superman’s that would give Homelander some advantages.
1. Homelander has heat vision, Nolan does not (extreme heat is also a viltrum weakness)
2. Extremely loud noises can fuck with their superhearing causing their equilibrium to shut off and they lose the ability to fly temporarily, conveniently Homelander has an ability to scream so loud and can shatter the windows of buildings for blocks.
In Nolan’s favor however
1. He is from a warrior race of people, hardened to battle and definitely has an experience advantage
2. Homelander was always punching down, there wasn’t a supe that was as strong as he was, so he never knew what it meant to be in a real fight with an equal.
Another tick to Homelander in his favor is his extremely unpredictable and volatile nature, that is one of the core reasons joker can actually get a few licks in on Batman, sometimes the unpredictability of his nature counters the predicted controlled pathway of thinking that Bruce has. I can see a very intelligent and analytical character such as Omni man being off put or thrown off his game coming face to face with a complete psychopath. Then again this could work in Omni man’s favor, inciting openings to exploit in the battle.
It’s close, and I do think Omni man would win, but they both have some interesting advantages over the other. I do think a deciding factor in keeping this one close for Homelander is heat vision. Superman doesn’t use it to its full potential because of concern of collateral damage m, but Homelander has no concern for such things.
What's interesting is that he leaves covered in blood here, but after he wipes out the terrorist cell in the Season 1 finale he's totally clean. But in that scene there was blood dripping off everything, including the catwalks right above him.
I think he killed them in worst ways out of anger and its to highlight that
He turned all those men into absolute goop idk why they even bothered to bring weapons or even wear a flak and Kevlar, mans just turned them all into play-dough and walked out.
Not a single shot fired, they knew it was game over when they saw him.
I now realize that the reason he was drenching in blood is because he did not laser those swat He individually went through them at super speed like in diabolical

@@C7B0RG844 They weren't coming for Homelander. Vought had a deal with Butcher to get back Ryan, but Butcher double crossed them to get Ryan to safety, and Homelander just happened to come back to the house when the Vought team were looking for Ryan, and at that point there was no hope for them.
Soft voice quietly closing the door without speaking tension build like crazy good job.

Doubt it. Homelander can tell when someone is lying, an example is the scene when he interrogated and nearly Killed Starlight. Starlight technically told him the truth, as he was listening to her heartbeat he didn’t detect deception and let her go. Also it’s heavily implied that Homelander hates liars, so he most likely would have killed them out of annoyance.

The smartest thing to do at this point is to slowly move to the back of the room and escape through the back door to the sound of your friends' attempts to confront Homelander. If you drop everything heavy, including weapons and armor on the way, you can run faster. I highly doubt Homelander just used the laser on them. He took his time.

The writers already knew that it won't be interesting to show the actual fight scene, thats why they cut the scene entirely and transition to homelander just coming out the house smeared in blood. Like we already knew what was gonna happen, it would not feel like homelander to us if we know what he is gonna do. That is why he is so scary, man that is excellent writing

After watching Gen V with Sam puppet scene i can imagine too well what happened inside the cabin
Need a good villain just as much as a good hero for a successful show/movie. Homelander,Thanos,Kingpin,Cartman for example.
