- Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li rev into overdrive in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves!
Ken and Chun-Li from renowned fighting game franchise Street Fighter (Capcom) are joining FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves! Their inclusion amounts to a legendary crossover like no other, as Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui have themselves already been announced for Street Fighter 6.
Ken and Chun-Li will serve as DLC characters in Season Pass 1 of FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves. Ken is slated to arrive in Summer 2025, with Chun-Li following in Winter 2025. More details will be revealed in due course.

It's already on the horizon. We were given strong hints from 2021 till now. Terry's and Mai's inclusion in SF6 and now this seals the deal.

After their fight, Terry noticed that Ken is a little rusty (mainly because of Ken’s personal issues going on in SF6 story), but Ken is willing to make sure that the next time they meet, he’ll be at his absolute best.

Terry knows Ken far more than Ryu. Not that Terry doesn't know Ryu. It is just Terry gets along with Ken more. The hype up challenge of a new fight. They both Terry and Ken share that same passion. Sure in the story Terry meet Ryu and had that fight. At the end of that. Terry tells Tyu, maybe we will have another round in the future. These two companies are hinting on another crossover!!!!! LOL That ending give it away too much.

what do you mean? they literally had the wildest crossovers with a korean mobile game character , a knight from for honour , baiken from guilty gear , arthur from million knights , skullomania , and makoto who's basically a mix of ryu and akira.
it's capcom who never had guests characters outside their company properties. terry is the 1st real guest character capcom ever had.

I'm happy with that too Terry vs Ken always felt natural, I feel like it's a Capcom thing that seems to have some issue with Ken in promotional material and was forcing things to put Ryu in.

They put Ryu on promotional because he is the main face of Capcom Fighting Games, Same with SnK and Terry (now that he have reclaimed the position)
but when it comes to characters interactions, Ken and Terry have always been used as rivals, so it makes sense that he would be used for a Fatal Fury collab.

These intros don't exist anymore, haven't you noticed yet? They are the old school style, and that was abandoned by FF and replaced by the cinematic intro style.
Secondly, it's very unlikely that SNK makes something like that just for a 2nd outfit... You are too much influenced by the SF6 Terry, and these products are two galaxies apart from each other. SNK barely bothers even making 2nd outfits at all... Imagine expecting special cutscenes or animations that are exclusive to an outfit.
What could happen is a story mode cutscene that makes reference to that CvS moment. Just like KOF 15 rival cutscenes show some more special and personal interactions between the chars. But regular special intros, maybe like TK8 and DBFZ, are out of question.
Wow, four months, back-to-back, of Capcom and SNK collaboration announcements. And the possibility of new installments in the SNK vs. Capcom series has never been higher.

Ken, yes perfect SNK made the logical decision, not only is Ken Terry's main rival in crossovers but Ken's current style works better for the style of the game and although I didn't expect Chun-li but well Mai Chun-li's rival is the other star of Fatal Fury apart from Terry so I understand it.
Ryu's gameplay is bad for SNK fgs. He is carried by his status in the genre and by fanboys but he is not that much. Ken's flashier shoto style and combos work much better for SNK.
Even if those Terry x Ken dynamics didn't exist, Ken is a better option in gameplay. Ryu's gameplay doesn't fit FF or KOF well.

@@carlosaugusto9821 it’s crazy because I loved both KOF 12 and 13. Even though people were enamored with those games, things weren’t looking so rosy behind the scenes. Reminds me of the retrospective of the Sega Dreamcast. Back in 1999 and 2000 from the perspective of a customer Sega was hitting home runs. Then it suddenly and abruptly came to an end in 2001. They were struggling while we were enjoying all those great games, especially the abundance of fighters they had on the Sega Dreamcast. I’m glad I still have mine, but I digress. Yes I know this was originally about the “failure” of KOF 12 and 13 which I also wasn’t aware of, but I used the Dreamcast to illustrate the point that we had fun with these games not knowing the companies plight. I’m just glad my 3 favorite companies Sega, Capcom, and SNK are doing much better now. I love it.

Almost impossible. Because SF6 is doing too well, that it will most likely have 5 seasons. And a project like a new CvS will only happen around the final years of SF6. Maybe the game can be announced in 2026, but not released.
