Color Customization..... dude, I've been asking SNK to do this for a long time! And now it's finally happening! It may not seem like a big deal to some, but to me it is!
Looking really cool! Smart input mode and a RPG mode. Even casual, like me have absolutely no excuse anymore. (Though I like KoF 2002 UM and KoF XIII) Edit: I even missed he mentioned AI genetated clones to fight against. Maybe something like VF and Tekken did with quest mode and super ghost battles. Really cool if you dont want to fight other players or Internet is not helping.
There’s 2 things I want from SNK now. 1) a Fatal Fury collection for all platforms to really stoke the fire. And 2) a Switch 2 port of City of the Wolves.
Speaking of 2 things. How about the 2 Lane Stage System from the original Fatal Fury? They say in this trailer at 1:10 that "the classic series mechanics are BACK IN FULL FORCE" so 2 Lane System confirmed?
@@elgatofelix8917No. 100% they're referring to MOTW mechanics, which are all back in COTW. It's ironic, but as far as game feel goes, MOTW (and by extension, COTW) is barely a Fatal Fury game. Which is probably why it's the most loved (?) entry. That line switch gimmick needs to stay in the past and never return.
Now THAT'S art style. I miss the way SNK used to animate their fighters as 2D sprites (so much character to them), but this is the closest they get to that without having to cost them an arm and a leg. The cel shading in this looks phenomenal. Definitely harkens back to the old days, but with modern techniques. Might just have to buy this one.
You know real SNK players don't like GAROU... It is like 3rd Strike... All the attacks become easier to do... Far to the level of Real Bout 2... And here it is same, I see only a Street Fighters 6 with a Fatal Fury skin...

There is only 2 feints per characters, when 4 years early, we had 4 feints in Fatal fury 3... Only 9 characters and 2 bosses... When in Real Bout 2, we had 22 characters... And Terry had 5 attacks when in Real Bout 2, he had 11 attacks... They split in half the numbers of characters and mooves. They erased the 2 other background as before in Real Bout Special (kind of 3D). And a fury become easy to do... When you see the difference about Fatal fury 2 and Garou... It was a technical game and now it is an easy game... Almost all characters have the same manipulation to perform the fury...

I've never played a Fatal Fury game. I only learned about it because of Terry in Smash. I'm looking forward to trying this game when it comes out.

Hello SNK! Please clarify the amount of characters on the starting roster. Is it 22 base characters made up of 17 returning fighters and 5 new faces? Or is it 17 characters made up of returning and new faces + 5 dlc. This trailer has me confused😢. 2:36
