Hello sir 😁 love your videos I actually started throwing discuss , definately can't do full turn properly but by doing half turn I was able to throw 30 m should I continue I'm 19 in college??
Hey John? I got two question. I have been doing the half spin recently and have found that my throws are going out the left sector as a right handed thrower. Do you have a fix for this? Secondly, should my left arm swing wide during the power throw?
@@ThrowinBombs80 a reaction? Sorry but you are wrong. A reaction is the result of an action. This motion is done to trigger the reaction of the lower half accelerating through the center. This is absolutely intentional.
@mrreams711 You worded your comment to make it seem as if leading with the arm is intentional. You're conflating two different things here. Reactions are the result of actions, but you're just zoning in on the incorrect action and a complete lack thereof, at that. I know what she works on because my coach has spoken with her before. I can genuinely tell you it's not the left arm leading the left knee lol Not all reactionary forces that occur as a result of sequencing (Purposeful or otherwise) are INTENTIONAL. This is an important distinction to make when attempting to discern what an athlete is trying to do when all the information you have is based on a video. People need to stop assuming what athletes are doing and ask them directly. Most people get these things wrong because of it.
@@ThrowinBombs80 she doesn't have to work on what already works. I would not expect that her training would be focused around leading with the left, because she has mastered it and has for many years. If it's not broke, why fix it?
Thanks John - More pro analysis like this please!

Her left arm leading her left knee is intentional. It's a method that is taught in order to add rotational speed. I teach my throwers this as well.
It's not intentional. Her coach does not focus on that at all. It's just a reaction.
