Nice to see the side by side and what's best vs. ok, but it doesn't really explain drill or how to get the novice/intermediate athlete into those better positions

Ruel Martin knowledge. Use this time to learn more about how to gain quality mass and do it Healthy. Learn proper lifting technique. And learn proper throwing. Technique. We will be covering all 3.
The young thrower it's not hand position that is the problem she went down to heal on the right foot in the center. Nothing slows down a throw more than that.
the inverted orbit is created by the hand issue. the inverted orbit does bot allow the thrower to stay over the right because the upper body shifts into then power position and this the heel drops. this is what we mean by #throwingchainreaction. yes, you need to learn how to do the mechanics which is why we have six pillars but you also need to understand cause versus the effect. The heel dropping is the effect, the cause is the hand carry, which leads to the inverted orbit, and therefore she cannot rotate the lower body ahead of the upper body and the upper body moves too soon into the finish. .👍
Could be. I do enjoy your channel. I'm old school transfer power through your core to your shoulder. If your upper body affects anything your lower body does, you're doing it wrong. We throw shoulders not implements. I haven't coached in a decade +, but daughter wanted to throw. I have Feurbachs, Oldfields, and Barnes vhs videos committed to memory.
@@thegreatone4748 great one for sure but never throw shoulder in the discus. that kills the throw. kinetic chain from ground up but also open chain from top down affects the throw.

no concern with stepping far left of center? that kills the novice thrower. nothing good happens when the sweep takes you that far left of center.
