@Michiel-zs2qj outsprinted everyone at the finish? 😅 maybe that's because no rider sprints for 4th position when there is another 2 mountain stages up ahead. He literally barely gained 1 second with this very great idea of "outsprinting" everyone else one minute after the stage has finished 😂😂
Remco biggest problem is he always works himself over. His race sense needs to improve if he wants to come close to challenging Jonas and Pogi in the future. Maybe on pure power but that's only part of the equation
Well, turn that around a moment: what do pogi and jonas need to do to become double wc? Jonas has half the wins and no classics on his name. Who’s trailing who?
Nobody is questioning his ability but stage races are won by team strength, time and time again when Remco needs a domestique to close a gap or pace a climb he's isolated. Hopefully Alaphilippe will take that role for TDF, before JA crashed in Vuelta he was an awesome road captain for Quickstep.
IMO Van Mol's experiment continues to get chunkier (and presumably heavier). Jorgensen looking so strong now with TJV. Taking it up a notch from last season by the looks of things.
