To lift to a lighter colour, continue bleaching until desired lightness. To get out the coppery red tone, you may have to dye a colour with "ash" tones in it or use a purple toner.

Bleach lightens hair permanently, the effects stay until the hair grows out and gets cut off or dyed over.

staar xoxo You can go to a salon, and normally a hair stylist can either strip it. (Depending on how good your condition of your hair is) Or they can use a toner and tone down the shade of your hair :)
I have one question if it’s watery consistency , how long do I wait for the bleach to process ?
Hi i dont know if u know about this things, but around here i just got developer in 9 percent, do u think if I add 2 bottles of 9 I would get 18% developer???? and what about the developer that comes usually in the comercial dye like revlon or loreal, what % it has??

It doesn't come already did/ or mixed up because as soon as the lightener and the developer are mixed together, the chemical reaction that takes place and causes the lightening of the hair starts. This chemical reaction stops after about 50-60 minutes and then the mixture is no good....so if it were premixed or already done for you, it would be bad/because it's done working after that time...hope that helps...and hoping I made sense 😬

I've bleached my hair twice already and I can't get rid of the brassy brown on my middle to end tips. My roots are perfectly blonde. 5 days ago I first did it with 30vol and 2 scoops of matrix v-light bleach. I added 2oz each of 30vol per scoop. Then tonight, did the same except with 40vol for 30mins. It barely brightened the brown. Am i doing some wrong? How much exactly is a "scoop of bleach?" I used purple shampoo in their shower as directed, and a hair mask to condition it. Nothing's working. Haven't used my Wella t14 toner yet because I think it would be a waste since my hair isn't blonde yet. Advice?
Normally for very dark brown hair or brown hair that holds a lot of reds creates a brassy tone. You'll need to continue bleaching maybe 5 times total to get the blonde shade you're looking for, and possibly doing a highlift the last time instead of bleach to save on hair damage. I wouldn't do one right after the other, maybe waiting at least a week in between treatments to prevent further damage. You can tone to rid of the brass in between treatments as well. Idk of this makes any sense but hope this helps...I was able to this successfully and I still have soft blond lightest ash blonde hair and I have dark brown hair with lots of red undertones which caused a lot of brassy orange hair. Also purple shampoo doesn't permanently tone hair and I would try a blue or violet shampoo until your hair is at least light brown, the purple isnt going to do much until then. Good luck!

I prefer 2 parts developer to 1 part bleach. Takes a bit longer to process, ideal if you do it on yourself. So that's the thin bleach she's talking about

You used more than once scoop and didn't give the measurement for the liquid. This isn't a good example. Thumbs down
