    0:58 chamomile ❌
    1:16 apple cider vinegar❌
1:34 6% of hydrogen peroxide (works best)
    1:46 (works best)
2:04 beer (meh, it does work but it’s reallyyy gentle)

    2:23 honey and water 2:41 + cinnamon ❌

samee it really doesn’t lighten the hair in the beginning but it gives a beautiful reddish tint to the hair i like adding little amounts yoghurt apple cider vinegar olive oil and lemon juice for shine the lemon juice with the honey water and cinnamon gave a slight lightning effect on the first try with red tints i was surprised because just 1 day before i had hennaed my hair with a brown henna powder but found out it was wayyy darker than i expected and literally after applying the honey lemon juice cinnamon olive oil acv and yoghurt i didn’t achieve the result i wanted but the lightning effect was very very obvious and adding yoghurt made my hair so shiny and healthy so when i was standing in the sun the next day it was so shiny and the color was more of natural brown with natural red tints ( it is said that the mask should be used twice a week for better results or until reaching the color you desire)

Sunlight catalyzes these oxidation reactions that lighten hair.

Thank you for this! I have had some success with a honey/cinnamon/olive oil/water mask, but its definitely subtle, even with letting the mixture "develop" for a few hours before applying it to my hair, and then leaving it in over night. My hair is a natural dark blonde and I like this mask to keep my hair from darkening in the winter in a way that's not super noticeable.
I think I want to try the chamomile/HP mask to see if I prefer it's results.

What I know so far, but never tested, is that camomile tea works when hair is exposed to the sun. It's a very slow and gradual process. I used to mix a bit of peroxide (20 volumes) into a small part of conditioner or hair mascara applying it with the hand, kneading the hair from bottom to middle before sunbathing. Again, it's a slow and gradual process and demands more than a couple of times to feel the results. But it's a good method to lighten the hair safely and make it look more natural. The hair also gets very soflt and shiny with a gorgeous beach look.

I would like to try to lemon mixture on my hair, as I am growing out my greys (naturally medium brown) and I think it would help to give more depth and prevent the ‘line of demarcation’

My favourite shade is lemon juice one. Wow that was cool. I also stopped bleaching my hair, but i love blonde hair so much. It looks perfect on me. My hair is one shade darker than yours. So i quit bleaching and had a buzzcut after looooong hair. It is now shoulder length, I'm growing it out now. And i will definitely try the lemon-water mixture. I subscribed, liked the video and commented. Your channel is 🔥!

Thank you so much for your comment and opinion 😊 Let us know how is your result after lemon treatments 😊
Make sure to use conditioner or hair mask as lemon can dry a bit the hair out.

@LoBelia-DIYcosmetics Aww you're so nice. But unfortunately I can only use 1 shampoo and it is a baby shampoo that also my son uses. I have eczema on my scalp so I can't use anything else. Even a bit.

Phenomenal experiment! I hope you can do more. Can you do tests on hair oils? Which method yields the softest hair? Maybe some people can agree to be your tester?
This has been super interesting, I will definitely try out the hydrogen peroxide and perhaps add chamomile tea. Thanks again!

Thank you for your suggestion. It's a good idea! I have some other tests in my head already but unfortunately with full time job is difficult to manage the time needed for this kind of experiments. I hope it's going to change soon 😊
