I've been doing my own hair for years, but what confuses me the most is what shampoo to use.I use all kinds of purple and blue ones, but I have damaged, dry and frizzy hair and none of the purple shampoos do anything for that. So, maybe you could do a video on what the best shampoos and conditioners to use for bleached, damaged hair. Maybe? lol. Hugs from Canada.
Use a hydrating shampoo first if your hair is dry/frizzy then your toning shampoo, and don’t use your purple shampoo every wash they are quite drying 😊

I love Blond Brilliance shampoo and conditioner from Sally’s beauty supply. My store stopped carrying it so I have to order it online. It is hydrating! They have an elixer too that I like to use after my regular shampoo and then condition with my regular conditioner.

I’m excited for this channel… I’ve been winging it for years coloring my hair and I still like highlights so I have to do cap because I don’t know how to do foil y’all make it look easy in salons but I had foil everywhere and frustrated haha I wish I could learn to cut my hair did the pony tail on top and well let’s just say mine didn’t look like the girls did in video 😂 so trim is all I’ve tackled lately

I'm trying to get my roots to a level 9 but afraid to bleach myself my ends were an 7 and 9 highlights i colored my ends with a level9 color and 20 developer the color is much brighter and nicer so can i just use a 9 color with 30 developer to get that bright color on my natural(roots-mids) and ends all throughout? My natural is a lighter burnette when i bleach my roots turn yellow but anything below my roots give off orange tones please give me tips before i make a decision on what to do

When your lighting your hair three levels with using the bleach do you have to use tinfoil in-between the strands? I am considering using the method youhave just demonstrated in this video. I need to do my roots. I am experimenting this method on me before I even consider using it i. My daughter
if you are foiling for highlights you will want to use the foil to keep your other hair strands from lightening. If you are doing all over the same color you skip the foil

My mom's hair is now all grey and some silver. She wants more silver in it to spice it up. Do I use bleach and developer to layer in some highlights? Also is there a better way to keep her hair from yellowing? She uses purple shampoo and conditioner which helps but doesn't make it as bright as she wants. You can use bleach and do a soft highlight or you can use a hi lift color with a silver tone (ash violet) would recommend doing them very small so it doesn't throw off her color. bold uniq shampoo from amazon is 10/10- it works the best for complete gray. It is a little pricey but does last a long time. They also have a conditioning mask
Hello, if a lightener says it can lift 9 levels but it’s used with a 20v developer, how many levels can it lift? Is it just 2 from the developer, is it 9 from the lightener? Or is it 11 from adding them together? Thanks!
a good little tip to remember 10 volume = 1, 20 volume= 2, 30 volume= 3, 40 volume = 4 levels of lift. However, 20 volume developer will lift more than 2 if left on for a longer amount of time it is just slower and safer than a 40 volume if that makes sense
how long can we keep the 1:3 ratio in our hair before washing it out ??
I think the bleach says on the package but maybe until it turns the color you want without your hair getting stretchy? I'm new to hair dying but that's what I've heard most commonly
Hi Brittnee, can you do a video on tape in extensions and what shampoo or conditioner to use? How to take care of them. Do you use a flat iron to put in tape-ins? I have seen some people do this. But I also see some people not do this. I am not sure of the best way. Also how do you style tape-ins? Do I have to curl them? I would like to do updo's. I workout and the summers can be hot. Thanks.

After two hairdressers f*cked up my hair (e.g. banding, some breakage, different levels of tones and lifts, varying from level 8 to 10... yellow, green and orange), i decided to bleach and touch up my roots at home by my self! I touched up my 3 months of regrowth roots, with a good quality lighter (white powder and 20 vol). I did not bleach my mids and ends. The roots turned plain ugly yellow... I tried then with a mild pigmented silver conditioner, let it on for almost 2 hrs and washed it out with silver shampoo. My roots are the exact same ugly yellow, but my mids and ends are violet/Silver/lilac. My goal is a good even level 10 platinum white blonde, but I feel like failing :') Can you recommand or help, what I can do to get my roots white, minimize the banding and just achieve the white platinum EVEN blond I wish to have? thanks xx
How much would you use for long hair?
Maybe mix like 1/4 cup or less, I think it would be easy to mix more depending on how long your hair is/if you run out!
