A few months ago I bleached my own hair at home. My daughter applied the bleach for me and I did the rest. That video is truly THE most comprehensive DIY home bleach video you'll find. Sounds obnoxious but it's true (linked to below). This video is an extension to that in the sense that, should you want to take that extra step and try a bleach bath (also referred to as a soap cap), here's how you do it. I think its understandable that you've had enough bad bleach experiences with stylists that you feel safer doing it yourself.
I have a lot of old videos I lost of my son when he was little singing cute songs. No prob I have seen a few people do it. It works a lot better than color remover for getting rid of dye on the hair.
It’s been quite the journey, to put it mildly! And that color remover stuff is soooo not good (and yes, I speak from experience! 😂)! The best bet is to always go to a professional (who hopefully knows what they’re doing 😉).
