I used this on my hair last weekend and definitely turned my yellow hair to something I could wear in public. I was really worried that it was too yellow and I would end up with green but I'm pretty happy with the results. All that work to put vibrants on it this weekend. . . .

Thanks for doing this video. I have highlighted hair on top about level 10 with 9 parts. Underneath it’s probably a 8-9, darker. I went to Sally and the person there told me I need to bleach the darker parts. I’m scared to do it cuz I don’t want to ruin my hair. I did buy the oil to put in the bleach and it’s a bleach with keratin in it. Age Beautiful brand and I’ve painted on highlights before about a month ago just on top. I have about an inch or more of white roots. I want to go gray white and stop having to dye my hair. If I did the T18 without bleaching would I get different colors of ash blonde? It’s pretty yellow now. Thank you so much!

What’s a good toner shade to use to get an ashy tone on natural level 7 with highlights? I don’t want it too dark but I don’t want much gold. I’m fair skinned so the ash looks better on me. Hope you can help. Thank you :)

Perhaps consider making many intense details vids for just colors!??! Maybe a 6 to 8 vid step-by-step intense class. It would totally do very well. I’m sure MANY will watch them over and over. 👍

In school, MANY years ago, they really should have spent way more time on color for the students. It was confusing. That’s why I went more towards the perms and cuts in my career. Now - the money is the colors/foils. The color professionals are making buttloads of money! I do enjoy your videos. 🤣

Wow your hair got so thick from the last extension video and yes I tried that specific brand because that’s what you use but I don’t like them my hair is super fine and silky and i have a hard time finding hair to match the same texture it does straight out the package but as soon as I wash it and I use good shampoo and even better conditioner that’s specifically for extensions and everytime they are frizzy and coarse with a wave and I have stick straight silky fine hair I have gotten some that weren’t just a matted mess after the first shampoo but I always end up having to curl my hair for the next month and never ever have I gotten any that I would want to wear my hair straight in and that is how I prefer my hair to be so it’s very disappointing for me trying to find the right hair

Oh, lawd! Another option is to do a bleach bath, which is much easier, cheaper, and pretty effective for all colors. Remember to do your roots last to avoid overlightening them. For added hair protection, you can include a bond additive in the mix. Sally Beauty sells one called One Shot Bond Repair, as Olaplex 1 is only available to licensed cosmetologists for salon use (usually added to a bleach mixture for highlights at an extra cost of about $50). You can also do a bleach bath over hair coated in coconut oil if your hair is very damaged and you want extra protection in a more affordable way.
