- DIY point cutting to blend lines in haircutting.
*key points:
• point cutting = blending lines in a haircut (removing weight)
• blunt cutting = cutting in straight lines (building weight)
• to point cut- take a section of hair and go in an "up down, up down" motion with just the tip of the shears (this will soften lines- best for fine/thin hair)
• you can also point cut at a 45-degree angle; this will remove the most bulk, texturize and blend the hair (best for thicker hair)
• point cutting is usually done at the ends of the hair when it's dry. You can also create a whole haircut by point cutting- this is usually done when the hair is wet
*shears under $10 I recommend from amazon: amzn.to/4ce47la

This is a very informative video & thank-you for it, but was wondering how you would do this technique on a side swept bang
I know this video is about hair but your nails look beautiful 🩷
I was thinking the same thing. Can you do a pedicure video. I loved your hair in this, the color so pretty. It's really growing out now, so lovely.
Thanks for this great channel, Brittnee! I wonder if you can show us how to cut “the Rachel” (Jennifer Anniston haircut on Friends) ON OURSELVES? I’m going to start RVing on my own and I’d love to be able to cut my hair on the road! Thank you!
Do you ever use the razor to cut?
