A whole new world just opened up realizing you could mix two toners together 🤯 how did you figure out the perfect two to work together that got your wonderful result?
I watched another girl mix. Also I worked at a salon (not as a hair stylist) but I seen a bunch of mixing of toners and color. I’m glad this helped you! 🩷
So when you get the well bottle all you do is pour it into the bowl then fill the empty bottle of well with the developer TWICE and that’s the 2:1 ratio 😃
My hair is like a blonde orange but I went in for ashy blonde, do u have any recommendations? Do i need to tone it or recolor it? And when will it be safe to do this without damaging my hair?
I need some help with my hair color. I bleached it last saturday using loreal bleach and loreal box dye, but it turned out yellow orangey brassy. I went to Sally on sunday and tried to fix it, but its still bright yellow and brassy. What hair toner should i use?
If it’s super orange a toner may not be able to tone it down . I’m no professional. I would RUclips how to toner orange hair? Good luck! So sorry I wasn’t more helpful
Yes both toners with 10 vol developer 2:1 ratio meaning I doubled the developer easiest way for measuring is to just refill the toner bottles twice 😊🩵hope that helps
im 99% sure that 10 volume developers dont lift hair color! now if you were to use say a 30 or 40 then yes it would lift. i watched a brad mondo video, he said that the best is 10 volume because it has way less lifting power
Purple shampoo didn't work for me either, I tried it for over a year and all it did was just dye my hair purple then go back to the yellow orange it was
It's 1 part toner to 2 parts developer. The easiest way to measure if you use an entire bottle of toner is to then pour your developer into that empty bottle 2xs.
I’m not a professional but from my research toner does not lift, it only deposits color. Using a high level developer is what could lift your dark root to an orange. If that concerns you then use a Volume 6 developer so it won’t lighten your base/root color.
I used 20 volume like it said on the box and it lifted my roots orange. So use 10 volume or LOWER. nothing more than 10 volume because anything higher will lift
Yes, 10 volume will still lift your base color. If you’re concerned about a brown base color or a shadow root turning orange use a 6 volume developer. A 6 volume will just open the cuticle enough to deposit color. A 10 volume used with bleach can lift up to 4 shades depending how long you have it on.
1. That turned out beautifully done
2. Didn’t know you could use 10 vol developer with T18
3. Didn’t know T27 and T18 would work this well together
Looks beautiful and healthy!
Looks so pretty!! I also like the color it gave to your roots 😍
Thank you!! 😊

Ellebangs on RUclips made a video years ago mixing wella toners which was T18/T27 while experimenting, now it’s like a staple toner set ☺️

Looks great.
Thanks!

Yellow hair is beautiful
Agreeed all hair is beautiful. But I was over MY yellow hair
Now it’s brown lol
I think it looks beautiful on you. Good job. 👍
Thank you love ❤️
Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!🥰
Looks great. How long did you leave it in there
Looks so good!!
Thank you 😋
Was this all ur natural color before toning? My hair is very similar and I love ur outcome and looking to do the same😃
The root was natural but the rest was bleached 😏
I love it, and love you even more baby!❤️
Really pretty! Rhank you so much for your vid! Bless.
You are so welcome!🤗 God bless you!
Thank you
You're welcome
I’ve always applied to wet hair 😮
I believe you can as well . Not sure what the difference is 😊
What vol developer did you use? Your hair came out great!
Thank you love! 10 vol
Thank you. Did i miss something? Didn't see you measure the white wella
So when you get the well bottle all you do is pour it into the bowl then fill the empty bottle of well with the developer TWICE and that’s the 2:1 ratio 😃
how long did you leave it on?
20-30 min I can’t remember but around there .
My hair is like a blonde orange but I went in for ashy blonde, do u have any recommendations? Do i need to tone it or recolor it? And when will it be safe to do this without damaging my hair?
You can for sure try this first. It will take out any bras tones . But if it’s too brassy it’s probably just time for a recolor. Toning won’t damage
So you actually apply it on your natural roots and its not lifting your roots too much. Interesting. Thanks for the vid
Yes 🩵 I used 10 volume developer, which only deposits never lifts

Beautiful. No bleach ?
Not at all😅
Did u mix the two toners together ? And then applied it ?
Yes both toners with 10 vol developer
2:1 ratio meaning I doubled the developer easiest way for measuring is to just refill the toner bottles twice 😊🩵hope that helps
How long did you leave it in for???
I did about 30 min. 💗😬
Did you shampoo after on just hair mask?
I shampooed and did hair mask🩷
🎉DANGGGG 👏🏽👏🏽It Looks FABULOUS ✨❤️🔥🙌🏽
(PS I wish you would’ve said how long you left it on)
I left it on for 20-30 min around there 😊
Does it lift any of your darker unbleached hair?
im 99% sure that 10 volume developers dont lift hair color! now if you were to use say a 30 or 40 then yes it would lift. i watched a brad mondo video, he said that the best is 10 volume because it has way less lifting power
It will not 10 vol only deposits 🫶🏼
Purple shampoo didn't work for me either, I tried it for over a year and all it did was just dye my hair purple then go back to the yellow orange it was
Keep yellow it’s best blonde hair colour
How do you know which colours to use?
I really don’t lol I just do my research before on RUclips
I can’t see any orange
right?! none
The lightening isn’t too good maybe I should say brassy not bright :)
When you say a 2-1 ratio you mean both toners and just one part of developer? Or viceversa?
It's 1 part toner to 2 parts developer.
The easiest way to measure if you use an entire bottle of toner is to then pour your developer into that empty bottle 2xs.
Yes exactly ! Perfectly said thank you! 😊
Hi, did your roots turn orange ?
I’m not a professional but from my research toner does not lift, it only deposits color. Using a high level developer is what could lift your dark root to an orange. If that concerns you then use a Volume 6 developer so it won’t lighten your base/root color.

No because I only used 10 vol anything over 10 will have a lift : I’m no professional but I worked at a salon for awhile as a receptionist 🥰
10 developer lifts too
Yes, 10 volume will still lift your base color. If you’re concerned about a brown base color or a shadow root turning orange use a 6 volume developer. A 6 volume will just open the cuticle enough to deposit color. A 10 volume used with bleach can lift up to 4 shades depending how long you have it on.
How much 10 do you put
Two to one ratio
1 bottle of toner
2 bottle of developer
Use toner bottle to measure accurate amount
Thank youuuu
So in this case, 2 bottles of toner and 4 (toner bottle) of developer? 🙈
Almost looks the same tbh not a huge difference lmao
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
How long did you keep?
About 45 min
