Why do losers pay to go to a concert then throw drinks at an artist, it’s not on.

Why did he stay sober 14 years?
And why did he choose Melbourne to finally draw blood and venom from fans and band

This is odd. Not sure how much this go on for longer. It’s unreachable performance.
When you pay alot of money to see a band and they sound like there only rehearsing....
with a lot of shows, the interchange between Anton and the crowd depends well, on Anton and the crowd. Will it be a good night or a bad night? No one knows until the show starts and a vibe begins ....he plays off audience and sometimes ignores them. I saw this great clip of a 2018 show in midwest US and it was just a bar show but Anton told great stories, talked to the crowd, did his usual banter, took requests, didnt' take requests....it just all a part of the circus. It seemed like a big party and the band was BJM.....
Only. after the Melbourne meltdown last month, I'm pretty sure the circus is no longer in town....

Anton is out of control. Its sad, he seemed to be doing so well the last decade or so and mostly sober.
you're right. he's in trouble, I'm a recovering alcoholic and I can tell you he needs treatment. He's also got mental illness and took meds for a decade that helped him -- he couldn't drink with it. so he stopped. Apparently, all this was too much for him.....touring this much with all that vintage gear....He apparently started drinking - but I think we have more of a mental breakdown.....

I think he'll rebound if he gets real help instead of just crisis management. He's got too much to lose to watch it all go down the drain. He is well aware of this. I saw a three hour interview he gave with a therapist/interviewer at a Scottish Yacht Club years ago. before an audience. He talked about all of it very openly. He was going great -- but the doctor told him he could never ride a bike or drink with this medication that worked so well for him. Of course, he had to test it, and sure enough, he ended right back in the psych ward with the same doc. It was weird. He said he had "come to the attention of the German psych people. or something like that....he was in a locked psych ward in Berlin and that apparently got his attention. I think it scared him. he was got diagnosed with some Bi-Polor or I don't know -what --- manic depression...I suspected Asperger's after watching DIG. but I don't think that anymore.Frankly, I'm not even sure he's a TRUE alcoholic even though he drank alcoholically. But does he have the "disease?" Most alcoholics cant' just stop because they have to take medication. He would've needed support. But he said he just "put it down like a hammer" -- and he did. So perhaps he had been selfI- medicating is mental illness with alcohol.... that's my conclusion. I don't know about now. But I do know that once a person has been through feeling good about themselves and life again and they slip with mental illness and addiction, they know to get back up really fast. Whatever is wrong with him, I sure hope he seeks treatment -- or he could end up back in the locked psych ward under German authorities watchful eye -- who knows..... but that's what he said...peace out. JMHO.
@@jgwire oh I didn't realize any of that about the mental illness. I could tell he had some things but I didn't realize that about being hospitalized. He has a son too.

It's not up to the artist to give you the full picture, whatever it is and however it's conveyed. You the audience need to interpret and comprehend.
The audience is the problem here, who appear to have no meaningful comprehension, not the artist.
Really? Who'd expect that of Melbourne.
