If you own ANY 2GR-FE-powered car, you NEED to watch this video series. The 2GR-FE is a very common drivetrain. It was featured for over a decade and was used in the Lexus ES350, RX350, RX450h, Toyota Camry, Avalon, Aurion, Venza, Sienna, Highlander, and the Toyota RAV4 JUST to name a few. This video is the first of many, where you and I will explore some of the CHEAPEST ways to add some more horsepower to your car, for as little money as possible. Each video in the series will explore a different cheap modification you can do at home to your 2GR. To start the series off, we explore the exhaust system, and replace the Y pipe with a different OEM replacement from a Lotus Evora!
The OEM Lotus Evora Y-Pipe could be had for quite cheap. We paid 180 bucks for the y pipe on eBay, including free shipping. The very small modification completed on the exhaust to connect the two flanges together was very simple. If you happen to have any sort of welder at home, you could easily complete the swap to the Evora y PIPE!

I would love to! but unfortunately, it comes with some bad news. The performance of the y pipe is very... Underwhelming. We tested it with sub-par results. So we are looking for another cheap option. The video with the results will be released soon! Thanks for watching

Yeah! your best bet is eBay.co.uk. I found mine on eBay for a 2012 Evora, and it was around 160 shipped. I did see the later y pipe that looks to flow better available on eBay, but they turn to the left and would pose to be more difficult to install because of that turn. I will be honest with you, I'd hold off for a bit. The results from that part swap are very underwhelming... Ill have the video out soon. It didn't seem to help that much. that being said i need to do a y pipe on my avalon... wana find a TRD catback for a camry too to fit to the car.. but those are rare.
@@001dman there’s some local to me I’ve been wanting to buy lol. The best evora y pipe is the S/400 one. They look to flow a lot more than this one. Literally anything is probably better than stock lmao
