Just want to check my understanding, scotties backswing and follow thru are both in the plane lines and hence club face control is easy / natural wothout major hand manipulations?
You got it! The funny thing is that if you look at Scottie’s swing it appears all over the place in terms of footwork and balance, but when you see the plane work it’s more stable than those that appear more stable to the naked eye.
Scottie, ultimately lost net strokes with the putter for the wk, and still won. He's absolutely remarkable tee to green! Not to mention, has anyone noticed that Scottie's gaining a reputation for hunting down a leaderboard from behind.🥇
Yes this is so true, it’s almost as if the leaders see his name creeping up they start to feel the pressure knowing how good of a ball striker he is and will probably not falter when pressure builds up. It’s truly cool to see I hope he can keep it up for many years to come.

It comes down to the same marketing issue as the weight loss industry. This has been going on for multiple decades, misleading the public’s trust to promise quick fixes. Equipment, teaching, golf “trade” secrets, it’s all garbage designed to make money from you. Go look at a book called “the golf club” and you will see what I mean right away.
BUT EVERYONE WANTS TO GO FLAT AND THATS THE SECRET!
Oh, I wasn’t supposed to say that.
That is what the current trend is....eventually, like bell bottoms, it will go out of style, and make another comeback in another 40 years when two generations go by and they forgot completely about the secret.
