Place the head of a broken tee about 2 inches ahead of your ball and focus on hitting downward with an 8 or 7 iron into ball and underneath the tee. You will hit ball first with forward shaft lean. This is best drill I know to fix multiple problems in swing. My first coach had me do this for an hour and I shot 73 next time I played. Shot 92-94 the round before that. Miracle.

That’s a good one. It can address multiple potential issues at once. Most of the time it’s poor ball position shifting in the swing because of poor weight management. Rotation is another culprit. There are a few good drills to help but the tee ahead of the ball can be a quick band aid for a round of golf.

Ive been a PGA member for over 2 decades, and also am a Master Professional within the PGA for instruction. I have taught about 30k lessons in my career, and own multiple golf instruction companies now. This all came from education, trial and error, experience, etc. Nothing beat experience however.

@liongolfacademy Just a question wouldn’t that apply to shaft angle aswell? From dtl (low hands alot of angle).

Yes it will. I had down the line as well from an amateur on the same video but it got to be too much info and a bit confusing for the viewer so I just erased that portion of the video. But yes you can also see shaft lean from down the line and it may be lost due to shaft humping and loss of room at impact so the arms and hand have to take over earlier.

Sorry, once I saw how far off the camera angle was, I decided there was no point in watching this video.
