Yes, you are in the Big Time now. The other guy I "follow" only installs PTZs. Our former church used DSLRs, but, I was fortunate enough to operate three PTZs at our late Pastor's Homegoing service at another church. You will love the camera presets, especially when you get the next two PTZs. The color matches your interior. Watch out for vibration if mounted near a balcony - may try shock absorber of thick rubber. Wishing you and the church much success with the new device!
Thanks Bruce! The vibration is something i am concerned about and will try to isolate it with dampeners when installed. Were you running the PTZs with a joystick controller or thru software?
@@JasonHoffmanYT I was controlling them through a joystick controller. From what I understand, it has to be on the network also; as a matter of fact, it jumped off network twice during our rehearsal. I had a ball using it.
maybe you can try a new ptz camera
Hi John,
We have this cam (2 of them) now for our service but have an very weird issue where the upper right and upper left of the image is very blurry on every shot. Tried multiple setting changes but didn't manage to get this issue solved out. Any suggestions what this may be? Did you had the issue by any chance as well?
Can you use these remotely? Like say I’m in a different network or city, can I still control?
Not at all my expertise but Jared Wheeler (who was my guest on Streamology Podcast last episode) can absolutely answer this.
Great! Blessings from prisual.
Same to you!
Have the camera support for NDI Discovery Server function ?
If you only setup NDI connection to this camera, could you control the camera AND send the video signal out through NDI? Or would you need NDI and some other connection? I'm assuming power would come through the 12v cable in this scenario, not ethernet.
I may be missing some context here. But what you say is absolutely possible. I’m controlling this on an ipad and running it through Mevo’s Multicam app. This app has an output function allowing you to send the active camera (this one in your scenario) out over NDI. And I’m running power via POE for mine but 12v would be fine too.
Do you have a video that shows football footage from the Zowietek PTZ? I'm trying to decide between the Zowietek and getting another camcorder like a Handycam or a Canon Vixia. I need the optical zoom to punch into the action from the press box and I'm not sure which will give me a better picture. I'm between these two options because even though the camcorder will be cheaper, it will push my setup into needing a switcher like an ATEM. And those two purchases together will get close to the price tag of the Zowietek (which I would connect via NDI to avoid another HDMI connection and thus the need for a switcher). I have one HDMI camcorder running already that I use to capture the scoreboard.
I think this is the only one I streamed (it’s my home only setup) last year. it’s 720p and the guy I had running the ptz didn’t punch in as far as it would reach because of the shake. you’ll see it. ruclips.net/user/liveq_RLp5wzvjM?feature=share
@@JasonHoffmanYT Thank you! The video quality looks pretty good there. Last year all I had was a Mevo Start trying to capture everything from the press box. I think this would be a nice upgrade.
Hi John, this PTZ camara can get connect wireless to the mevo ?
It has to have an Ethernet cable thru a wireless router for it to be wireless. But yes. With that done the Mevo will see it as an NDI camera. Use it every week like this at my church.
What is the best way to control your camera if you are using yolobox pro?
The best way will be to use a connected hardware joystick. Depending on your camera there are several which will work with its connection.
Other than using NDI, what is another way of connecting a joystick?
The joystick connection will be either an rs232 or 485. Depending on what your camera has built in
