I've ordered one from Avkans, with them saying 1080p 50fps/60fps and the colours being added and fixed this month. I would use the Avkans with a manual 20ft pan and tilt high mast (Hague AMP4). Ive tried Mevo Start, Nearstream v33, Osbot tail air, PTZ Optics studio pro, DJI Action 5 Pro looks like Avkans Go has all the features I need like Small, Big battery, 50/60fps, 3x optical zoom, NDI/SRT, all controllable from a tablet instead of a field monitor apart from being weatherproof which I will suss out a workaround being from the UK I need that feature 😃

Two things one you have the microphone it’s too far away from your mouth right now, so your voice is echoing. Second people use these Mevo’s and have issues with Wi-Fi and heat as you just said powering down, etc. I have the first generation Evo, which is like a cylinder and I was in Alabama for one of my sons perfect game tournaments and it overheated in five minutes. It was shaded with an umbrella, but it just overheated. So what I use now is an iPhone 12 mounted on the fence that streaming to the cloud via Unlimited cell data plan. While, my main phone score is the game. And you can get a lightning to shotgun microphone and an XY array and mount that onto the iPhone fence kit. There’s no need for Wi-Fi which create a lot of issues there’s no lagging because of the bandwidth restrictions and or having a hotspot turned on your primary phone which also drains the battery considerably so grab a second phone set them up string right from the phone to the unlimited data plan and you’re often running.

Jason how do you make the smaller screens of the 2 cameras in the mevo multi cam app as large as the ones you have on yours. I messed around all summer and couldn't figure out how to ichange the size have the default size. to small.

Tiny 2 Lite makes it perfect for my workspace

I put this in my cart after watching the video the first time. I had to cancel it after watching it at home and seeing that the white balance and color were not so good. I will wait to see what other cameras you mentioned in the comments are coming at the beginning of the year. Thanks again for another great video.

The VM46 still has a very good picture, and looks I would think very close from a color accuracy standpoint. The mevo software still seems to have the best software. Avkan has the best fov. Which company is going to finally make this all happen in one product….

Thank you for this, Jason. I have a mevo start and I'm thinking about switching to Avkans GO. I love the mevo start for my small church except for one thing. We get the "RMTP not responding" error for long stretches of time. It worked perfectly for a couple months but for the last month, we get the error every Sunday so we can't live stream on RUclips. I have literally tried everything as we have battled the problem off and on for a couple years. Do you have any recommendations on how to get past this error? Sorry this comment is slightly off topic but I'm desperate!

How was the range on this router?

The OSBOT focus was off. Your background was in focus but not your face. The Insta360 correctly focused on the face. Exposure wasn't great on either. OSBOT was slightly dark and Insta360 looked too bright and low contrast. But focus being off is a bigger issue to me.

Can any of these be used for baseball streaming in the MEVO platform? I could see the Tiny 2 being great to focus on the pitcher to track his movements

I've been searching RUclips for this exact review since I saw this camera on Amazon a few weeks ago. This is the first review I can find, so thank you for this. I'm looking to use this with my Yolobox Pro but would rather not have to mess with a separate app to manage the Avkans Go while streaming high school basketball or soccer. Do you know if setting changes are retained, and have you tested with your Yolobox yet and if so, can the zoom be controlled without the Avkans app, i.e. via NDI?

Hi Jason, great discovery. Couple of questions: do you know the horizontal field of view of the camera with no zoom applied? Also, in their website they claim it can be powered by POE, but I see has no Ethernet port. Do you know the adapter that is needed or a generic USB-C type is ok? Thx

Went ahead and grabbed one of these to play with as an impulse buy. Does the presets feature in the Mevo Multicam app work with all NDI cameras or only actual PTZ cameras? I can't get this one to save the zoom presets.
