How To Change the Turn Signals On Your C5 Corvette!

I removed the fuse that activates the daylight running light for bulb longevity 👍🏼

Ditto. It also preserves the housing from melting/cracking, allowing in water from rain and/or car washing. If I recall correctly, it's fuse 2 in the block by the battery.

Where did you buy after market caps?

The ones I replaced came with the car when I bought it, so probably any place that sells after market ones. I got the OEM ones used from eBay. If you need all four make sure you look for listings that specify that they're selling a set of four because a lot of sellers will sell sets of one
