Being the first new 5 star character in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.0, Black Swan is a wind damage over time character who synergizes perfectly with Kafka and other DoT characters. California is being bombarded by rain and my power was down for over 24 hours. I took my desktop and monitor to my mother in law's place because she still had internet and power. However, I did not bring my entire audio set up since that's a lot of additional junk in the trunk. Since I had to update a lot of the audio, I ended up using TTS.

Though I have failed on getting Kafka for the second time, which I know that sucks, I felt like I was given up, However I still feel like I have what it takes to make a comeback, so for Black Swan actually being a high anticipated character is something, I hope she would also work well with Archeron is a later update.

Acheron is not a DoT character.
Acheron is not DoT BUT she benefits if i know from debuffs also! So BSwan will be good with her and when Kafka 2 rerun you will get her for sure and it will be a really good team

Well this is Honkai, back in Honkai 3rd, every single character is a power creep of the previous, which means every single character is literally broken on release. HSR is carrying the power creep of HI3rd so it is true that every character will be broken on release.

I like that you added a section for full auto MoC clears. That's the true end game builds, not 0 cycles imo.

I was gonna use my guarantee pull on her for my Kafka dot team but then I found out DHIL is also on the banner and I by total luck got E1 DHIL in just 4 pulls after I got him at E0 and considering how good his E2 is and that I’m free to play so I rarely ever get 5 stars with there best tools available usually so I’m going for him but hopefully since there’s a lot of pulls available since it’s a new section I can still get black Swan but then there aventure …

Can I ask for your speed of each character in your 0 cycle showcase so I can adjust my team build? I have Kafka at 143 speed and Black Swan at 147, my Ruan Mei is 147 speed but always go 3rd after them because of the speed buff she gives the team so I'm not sure If i should slower my team down or use Vonwacq for Ruan Mei

I feel like people may be slightly overstating how good she is as this is our first experience with an actual five star DoT character (Kafka is just an initiator not an actual DoT character)

i just got kafka and black swan, and i don’t really know much about how dot works yet. my question is why did u wait until the last moment to use kafka’s ult? is it to stack as much dot/debuff as possible?
Basically, yeah.
And the reason for why Kafka's ult is used last is because her skill & ult essentially works as a DoT detonator + some extra damage, and her ult being a better, AOE version of her skill. So more dot stack = more detonator damage.

Hey @IWinToLose , I was wondering if black swan could be used in dr.ratio team istead of pela. Her skill reduces defence, heer ult is a debuff, adn if you run the 4star luca lightcone, thats another def shred. You can even have that light cone at lower superimposition since balck swan wnats so much ehr, or maybe I dont know how that lightcone works intilly. Btw, if you were to first use dr ratios ult on elite enemy, then before their second turn use black swan ult, does the 30% dmg bonus apply to dr.ratios follow up. Reason Im asking is becuase im still bulding my black swan, so am asking for your opinion.
no bro, Pela is only debuff but no dps role, that is because except it she can't do anything. BS is main dps, and she do best in DoT team. Dr.Ratio is best in follow up attack team, this 2 type of team is not relative now, U mix them for what? dps do support thing then off 😂

I know she works best in dot teams, but because she can get 2 defense shreds with the 4 star luka light cone and then another debuff from her ult, that one extra debuff from Pela. Also BS isn’t main spa, as you always run her with Kafka. I don’t have topaz or silver wolf, so I was wondering if black swan is good with dr.ratio, which I have tested and it is good.

Please create an HSR playlist with all your guides because, tbh, i think there are just a little few trustable content that we can rely on.
I'm kinda on the fence if I want to pull her. Her design is nice, her playstyle seems fun and I love her ult animation + sound effect. I also want a DoT team, but I still don't have Kafka yet and her next rerun will likely be in about half a year the earliest. I do have E5 Sampo, but I don't really like him. The only character, that is a BiS team mate for her that I have, is Ruan Mei. If I'm lucky I could get Guinaifen on her banner though. Not sure how she compares to E4+ Sampo exactly, but at least I like her a lot more than him.
Also just curious, shouldn't Guinaifen ult also pop Arcana while Epiphany is active, as Arcana also counts as burn then? That sounds not too bad imo and is somewhat of a budget Kafka.
