In regards of farming bosses - HSR weekly bosses are dropping just one type of material, while in Genshin you might get something you don't want/need, and you might be out of solvents. And then, you have to wait for another week, and pray that you will get what you actually need for your character.

Yeah its fing tedious to farm maths. But guess what that goes for any game. GI or HSR arent better or worse theyre different. In hsr it's somewhat easier but you HAVE TO SPEND RESIN or 'ENERGY' to farm 99% of things which means waiting longer to level up charatcers. Many differences are apparent more in how much love the company or at least, their developers have in their game
From the Star Rail we have a team of people who really love what they are working at so they pull many new things, QoL, characters and things that arent really that necessary but it gives love to the game, plus a more grateful team by having way more and way better gifts
But from the Genshin Impact team, we have a group of overworked, burned and tired team with a director thats focused on profits and how they can make more money from the game, so thing like QoL changes, loyalty gifts or late game are just side notes, the director only wants profit and usually that involves by doing a sellable character and making awful units to make the better units seem more strong
Thats why when I played ONE time hsr, I just felt in love

That why honkai game like hsr receive a lot of love from hoyo and dev team more than genshin

For the energy system, hsr is more resource extensive comparatively to genshin.
To make a better comparison video try to include all ups and downs of both.

    • @p.s.arlove1780
      @p.s.arlove1780  21 день назад +1

Not necessarily. Although you require more materials for HSR, you aren't time gated and don't end up wasting energy waiting as you can access the necessary domains every day. The weekly boss materials are also set at a guaranteed amount without the unnecessary RNG that Genshin has with requiring different parts of the weekly bosses for different characters. This makes sure that you are also guaranteed value in every single run. Although I do get what you're trying to say. Thanks for watching!

    • @-premula
      @-premula 21 день назад +3

Not really. HSR's energy regeneration rate is only 6 minutes compared to Genshin's 8 minutes. Additionally, in SU, you get 4 weekly free planar loot equivalent to 160 energy, while in Genshin, you can only get 60 free energy by purchasing the Transient Resin in the teapot. Over time, these differences add up significantly.
Moreover, in every version, Genshin only has double drop events strictly for Leylines and Talent domains. In HSR, these two are within the same category (Calyx), but there are also double/triple Planar drops and double Relic drops. These boosted drop events alternate between different versions of the games, usually at the end of a patch. In HSR, we have the option for planar and relics, which never happens in Genshin.
Additionally, HSR offers self-modeling resin and a guaranteed x3 weekly boss drop. The fact that HSR chars don't need regional gems & specialties is also a plus.
Not to mention for new players, events in HSR are permanent, meaning some rewards from those events are always available.
The material count for HSR is higher, but you also get more of those materials relative to your energy.
One example of this is Genshin only gives 2 (or 3) boss material for 40 energy, while HSR is guaranteed to give 5 each run at lower energy cost (30 energy).
What I'm trying to say is that HSR already provides more energy and features which Genshin lacks, making it easier to build characters from the ground up.

Star Rail is balanced around E0S1 or maybe even E1S1, you HAVE to get the lightcone for the character to feel complete, almost always getting a new mechanic or filling out otherwise feeling below average. The extra "generosity" HSR is memed for having is a lie, you have to pull twice as much or get worse FOMO. Having two different sets to manage means your stamina doesn't go as far as you think. This combined with the already extreme power creep compared to Genshin made me quit. I'm actually annoyed Genshin is starting to copy bits from HSR, as the power creep is getting noticeable in that game as well.

Genshin is still better in gear farming. Less substats to roll from. I can use an off piece with great stats to complete my set without fear of mission out on set bonuses. I only need 4 good pieces from a set instead of 4 and 2. Or the few times where it is 2-2-2. Introduction of speed has made it even more difficult to roll ideal substats. Where EM and crit was your biggest concern in Genshin.
Weapons are more interchangeable and have supplementary substats to help with low stats from gear.
No speed system that shows a preview of your next position and then changes right after making a move. Placing your predicted position for your move to be worst.
Or dealing with RNG that could immobilize or delay critical team members. Their ease of restarting a fight is more of a mechanic to balance the unfair nature of RNG.
Breaking shields take more effort in Honkai Star Rail. You have to break shields multiple times just to do normal damage. All mobs have this shield.

    • @p.s.arlove1780
      @p.s.arlove1780  20 дней назад +1

Yes, and no. Although there are more stats to roll for in Honkai: Star Rail, you also get to farm more. Yes, I agree that the lack of the ability to have off pieces can be an issue, but you get more relics because of the amount of energy you get daily. The mechanic of speed is designed to make you think more, and I actually kind of like it. You can tell which enemy units can affect your turn in battle and that comes from simply playing the game. As for the shields, I'm getting the feeling that you're playing the wrong comps because we are ironically entering a new "break meta" in which the biggest forms of damage come from breaking said enemy weaknesses. Thank you for watching, though.

few more point i would like to add:
    - Meaningful dialogue and choice, even if most of it won't affect the overall story but it good to have that choice and fun to see char around you react to your choice coz we all know how goofy and fun some of those option are and many become meme of the community, compare that to genshin where 1 sentence got cut in half or three then present those cut part as dialogue option as if that have any different or present dialogue option when not needed
    - Main story is overall better imo, it doesn't drag as long as genshin and trying to spoon feed you like a baby through paimon endless talk. HSR ofc still trying to feed you all needed information but it don't treat you like a baby and the role is also done by multiple char, not 1 char do all the explanation which is just better overall
    - Hidden quest, this is something i think not many hsr player know about as well, there dialogue and ask for help or certain clue left from note, npc dialogue etc etc but it will not trigger any quest prompt or marker
    - Fun and playable 4 star, hsr have did an amazing job with this imo, beside some special case(Arlan, Qingque imo), most 4 star newly release or not r all playable and not shit to play or not extremely anti player. Hsr player base still excited and looking forward to even 4 star char coz we know it gonna be playable and atleast average while in genshin, people rarely care about 4 star, especially when we saw the trend of really bad 4 star for few years with ofc some super niche one here and there

Neither is better or worse theyre just different and gather different fans. And hsr wouldve been infinitely better if its world was at least seamless if not 'open'.

Gaining engagement is easy when you title your video with the intention of badmouthing Genshin
Genshin haters and Genshin widows will arrive like a flock of vultures to give bias opinions against the game
As someone who plays Genshin and Star rail and has played Honkai in the past, I will show you a correct comparison
In Star rail reserved resin is a waste due to the recharging time
While in Genshin you can save 200 resins at once to use whenever you want in domains
Star rail talents are 10x more expensive to level up because they have item requirements 10x higher than Genshin
Still on the topic of farming, relics are a completely inferior version of Genshin artifacts
not only do you need 6 pieces instead of 5, all the pieces need to be from the same set with no off pieces like Genshin
and even worse, 2 of these pieces are acquired in the most boring way of farming in the game, the SU
In gameplay you were totally biased
Genshin characters are not limited to paths or weapons, which gives you infinite possibilities and customizations
Exploration... you're kidding, right? Do you call that in Star rail exploration? Bruh
In Star rail the events are the same "kill these enemies with these buffs" in every version, and no, the "events" in the museum, alley, garden are not real events they are worldquests
Genshin has real events with different gameplay stories and minigames and its worldquests are infinitely better
Regarding the endgame, the biggest loss of opportunity in the game is the SU, which would be an excellent endgame if the devs hadn't turned it into one of the most boring equip farms ever
Pure fiction is a mode that no one does because they like it, it's purely out of obligation and gems
    MoC is just an abyss
The other versions of SU are just a recolor of the same mode with a different UI that inorganically favors different paths
And finally, Ratio was just a tactic to get attention in the game awards, the anniversary came and what they gave us was a web event with a wallpaper as a reward

And with that, I can tell that you never really took the time to play Honkai: Star Rail. I did not title it that way for views, I did it because I genuinely believe the things that I say. Thank you for watching and you're welcome to come back anytime you wish.

@@p.s.arlove1780 I've been playing since day 1 and basically 100% the game + yeah bro I have a Kafka pfp and I don't even understand the game right?
I have all the characters except Dan, Ruan Mei, Aventurine
so yes I can say that this video was bias, you made it under the pretext of comparison but all I saw were personal opinions and bias
the only really good things about the game are the story and the amount of gems otherwise
equipment: an inferior version to Genshin
      stamina: subjective
      exploration: does not exist
events: the same every version with a different UI
endgame: only MoC and the swarm are real endgames, the rest are inorganic ways of giving value to a character + same gameplay with different UI

@@p.s.arlove1780I agree, a pretty bias "analysis" on his part, Star rail has fun endgames(except pure fiction, if you consider it an endgame) but that's literally all the game offers while Genshin offers exploration of giant areas, worldquests that literally modify the world, character story quests that actually are good( I still have a bitter taste in my mouth from Kafka's quest which was basically "quick Trailblazer do this or else Blade will be arrested" for 2 hours)
Apart from that, what do we have? As they said, stamina is subjective, you can save it for later in Genshin and in Star rail you can wait 3x longer to charge 1 when the base 240 is already full
And for some reason, even though Star rail doesn't have large maps, the devs recycle the same maps all the time and never make new maps for specific occasions, in events, quests, endgames the location is always the same street of Belobog or the same area of the Luofu , in Genshin the devs make entire domains super detailed and themed, even for quests that you will only do once
Star rail also recycles enemy models all the time, enemies are always "normal dude" "normal dude with a gun" "big dude with a gun" "small bird" "ball" while Genshin has enemies with new models from scratch being specific to each region with unique movesets and lore consistent with the regions where they are located

No Paimon already makes HSR better than Genshin in my book. Plus how generous it is in comparison to Genshin “would never” Impact. The only reason I’m still playing Genshin is because I’m already invested in my roster. But I don’t play beyond doing my dailies and events.

is it tho? you have to spend resin aka energy tp farm 99% hings in honkai which means you will arm less and slower.
you also have to farm some things manually in hsr by going in and killing mobs one by one which is awful in this type of game.
i started a new acc in hsr and no, if your tb 0-55-60 its not better. Its the same and sometimes even worse since all maths are resin gated. SO you have to wait for weeks to level up characters in hsr if your newer to the game as well
