Gepard Sampo Serval Ratio…the best starting team that you can have. I am 7 days into the game and have finished all the story quests plus level 15 of the first levels of memory halls….best thing ever… Now saving everything til I get to silverwolf E2 and LC. And waiting for bronya 500 pulls too…
Fuxuan is literally the game-changing unit for me, glad i skipped dan heng for this girl. She literally does almost everything. tanking, crowd control res, hp buff to the team (which can be somewhat good for blade an future potential hp scaling dps and supports), crit rate buff and with e1 more crit dmg + her LC more dmg buff, moderate healing and a bit of dmg from her ult which can help break enemies with quantum weakness.. She offers a ton of comfy gameplay. She allows herself as a preservation unit to be paired with units that don't like shields like blade and arlan. She is a unique preservation unit because preservation units mainly emphasize on shield while she doesn't. She is the reason i can squeeze through swarm disaster easily and she became my priority unit to challenge the new SU, gold and gears. Before i got her i was having a lot of trouble in swarm disaster. I will never take her off from the teams in the future since her crit rate buff is so useful.
I genuinely believe she'll be the hardest too powercreep of all limited sustains. Can't see us getting such a broken Preservation unit on her level or beyond for a very long time.
needless to say Aventurine pushed her down a rank, yet she has a strong ground, I use her and got her in the rerun, the only problem is when a single high dmg aoe comes, she dies 😭.
@@TJF588lucked up (after rerolling about 10 diff accounts to get her as my first 5*) and got her E1 20 pulls after. Started super late though during seeles rerun/huohuo banner n missed out on a lot of good free LCs but it’s still worth it since i only spent maybe 80$ total n got huohuo, blade, & lost 50/50 to Gepard. Now just to save for sparkle & fu xuan & Sam
Completely agree with the list. Though an odd one I'd add as an honorable mention is Blade purely for his team versatility He's basically self sufficient and perfect to slot into any team if you want a sub dps. You can use him whenever you need wind break or just someone that can do full enemy side damage without needing pretty much any skill points. He also mostly scales off of HP so he's pretty tanky resulting in not needing as much babysitting from the sustain.
Bc Yanqing's passive is too inconsistent unless you bring at least a sheilder or taunter to support him as him losing any hp to enemies just de-activates his passive, which is very bad as his passive is a fat chunk of his damage. & right now brining a sheilder or taunter is just a waste of a precious team slot bc the only options are fire MC, March, & Gepard. Well, Gepard is mostly fine tbh, but the issue is not everyone has him. So if you do, by all means run Yanqing. But regarding March or fire MC, if you have Fu Xuan, Loucha, or Huo Huo & they are way better options & none of those three synergize with Yanqing at all. In the future if they release another sheild/taunt based preservation unit that can solo sustain the team, that may put Yanqing back on the map meta wise.
I love hou hou , started the game on her banner , got her and now she is in argenti hanya tingyun and houhou team , have cleared most endgame content with this team , that argenti does like 2 mil per ult to bosses
Yeah, Argenti is a beast. I'm glad I pulled him. When they gave us that free 10 pull for the game awards, I pulled on his banner for the hell of it and got him. HuoHuo has replaced Bilou on every team. Also, never losing my 50/50's really help with getting certain units. My luck is so insane on this game that I believe it's taking all of the luck I should have on genshin and placing it into my HRS pulls

My biggest regret in this game is not pulling HH not only is she very cute and funny😭 but she has so much value. Kafka's CC destroys me in MOC. Having a character that has that god level cleanse is absolutely necessary. The best part about her is that 20% teamwide energy regen which is pure madness and as a Jingliu main sounds perfect for me.
She has the beat cleanse and she has really decent harmony buffs, giving a big atk boosts and energy to the whole team. That's an upgraded tingyun i see.
My biggest regret for me is pulling HH for 140 pulls, and she is not that great. And you got arlan, serval and dan heng and all of them is kinda weak. HH E0 is not that great. She cleanse well, but she cannot handle big hitter. So, every time I do MOC with her, many times I do reset, to make sure the big hitters do not kill one member. I think HH is like semi healer semi harmony, but the sustain things is not that great.
I do prefer Luocha over any of the other heals. Sadly I lost my 50/50 on his banner to Bailu (ironic its another abundance). I would also say that Pela is a crazy good support especially if you have E0 Ruan Mei since Def shred and removing enemy buffs is such a big thing and can be really useful
I lost my first limited-banner 50/50 chasing Silver Wolf to... Bronya. Yeah, the irony. So, through the months, I've not been flush enough to go for Luocha, but have picked up the others (sometimes _barely,_ like Huohuo). It is very nice that Tingyun is available in the -Starglitter- shop, so Foxian Bennett can be built up despite unfortunate warps.
Kafka should’ve been an honorable mention atleast just cause even if they make a second unit that can do the same thing she does, so long as they’re not also the same element, you can just field them both and have them setting off DOTs nonstop.
What the characters in this list have in common is the ability to fit in every team they can be put in. Damage dealers like Kafka can always be replaced, not to mention her being limited to DoT. Support characters are staple, the damage dealers they support change infinitely. Look at Bennett in Genshin. His standing as a great support didn't change, but the DPS he supports can vary greatly.

But supports on the other hand, can help these hundreds of ways to deal damage, to deal even more damage. Yes, Kafka won't be powercrept soon, but anyone can always deal damage other than DoT.

I really like the combo Imbibitor Lunae + Silverwolf + Ruan Mei, combined with some blessings in the su you can keep even the strongest bosses broken permanently
I think Jingliu has a decent argument for being future proof, maybe not as much as some supports, but considering that she doesn't consume skill points like crazy like DHIL does and that she works great with Ruan Mei who buffs the entire team so even if Jingliu herself gets powercreeped, she'd still be best in slot for second dps in a dual dps team, aka she has a "second chance" in regards to being powercreeped. Also I think it's obvious especially if you've seen leaks but Kafka will just get stronger and stronger, she ain't falling off anytime soon.
She is also a future investment apart from being a really strong dps. Her kit drains hp which is beneficial for blade. If we get a unit later in the future that benefits from getting its hp drained then jingliu will shine there. It mustn't be a dps, can be a support or sustain. That's the reason i chose jingliu over Dan IL. It's similar to the case of topaz with her follow up buff greatlt benefits any FUA dps now and later especially with Dr ratio now.
no gepard on the list and the honorable mention but I think he's one of the most important character since there's no unit rn that can provide thicc shield for the entire team, thicc shield = not getting 1 shotted
I saved my Jades since I pulled Seele at patch 1.1 just for Fu Xuan. The reason is I fell in love with her design since I first saw her. (Yes, she is the hottest character in HSR and I will die on this hill.) Ever since then, my HSR journey has been very smooth. Not to mention that I also have Huohuo. Although yes, I don't play endgame as much. But nonetheless, pulling Lady Fu and Huohuo have been worth the Jades and patience it requires for me to collect it and reject the temptation on other banners.
You forgot Kafka. She will always be great. Regardless if you're a beginner or an End-game player. Her teams will also not go down in value since She can only be Upgraded by the newer units that will come out in the future.
You can't really compare Kafka to the sustains and support units. She's an enabler for DoT, not a damage amplifier like SW/Bronya/RM. Also she cant keep your team alive like Luocha/FX/HH. Not really a unit you can put in any composition, even if she's a pretty strong damage dealer
Finally, someone who doesn't blindly praise jingliu and pela. Personally I have a relatively high standard for such lists, but surprisingly I agree with every one of them Anyway allow me to add on *Tingyun* One of the only two characters who can generate energy in the game as of the moment. Energy is very important if you don't know that already. Even if her atk buff is useless, you can always trust her energy generation *Luocha* Probably the one that I agree the least with, still he's a pretty valuable unit. But there's something I have to talk about regarding him. It's that most people doesn't really know his advantages compare to the other sustain options Whenever people think of luocha, generating sp, heal and cleanses seems to be the only things people can think of. But let me tell you, those are not his true advantages. While yes for a support characters sp positive certainly is better than neutral or negative, but the most efficient way to use sp is to use up every single one that can be used. If you have like 5 sp when the battle end, what are you saving it for, chinese new year? If a character can generate sp, you'd prefer to pair someone who can use the sp generated by them. But not everyone is sp hungry. So being sp positive at best is merely a benefit, it's not an advantage at all He also heal and cleanse yes, but so does the other limited sustain characters. Huohuo even does it way better than he can. You'd have to be below 50% hp in order for him to proc his passive you know? So what is his true advantage compare to the other? It's his buff cleansing. That is something that neither fu xuan or huohuo can do. His buff cleansing may seem niche atm, but it's very valuable whenever the enemies have a certain buffed state that provide them extra capability. The best example would be the mara thingy that can resurrect. The point is, as long as the enemies have a disgusting but cleansable buff, he will be more favorable than the other options *Silver wolf* A lot of people think she's a scam, worse than pela or whatever. But I can assure you, she's not. Other than the ones listed in this video, the other thing she can do is dealing dmg, which is overlooked by many people. If you only stack effect hit rate on her, then obviously she's not going to deal any dmg. Look at her skill multiplier, it's literally on par with seele. So when you combine that with her capabilities mentioned in this video, you'd realize that she's not just there to implant weakness, she's there to anplify the entire team's single target dmg. As the video mentioned, if you give buff to one teammate, that's one teammate who gets benefited. But if you apply debuff to one enemy, that's the whole team sharing the benefit. "BUT IN AOE PELA IS STILL WAY BETTER SO YOU ARE WRONG! SILVER WOLF IS STILL WORTHLESS BECAUSE PELA EXIST!!" Ermmm, are you sure about that? Does anyone of you remember why erudition is considered bad back in the day? It's because even if the battle started with 5 enemies, if there's only 1 remaining that means you are losing a lot of dmg. Other than that, in practice you'd rather focus one enemy down first instead of dealing equal dmg to every one of them. Why? Because what's likely to happen is that you didn't kill any of them, and they proceed to kill you. It's that simple. But if you focus down one of them, that means you have less pressure on the defensive side which means easier to survive. So, pela really doesn't necessary have the edge over silver wolf in aoe. Unless, you're in situation where the enemies would duplicate themselves (like the swarm) or even better example, pure fiction *Bronya* Extra turn is stonk *Fu xuan* In my opinion one of the two most valuable characters in the game as of the moment. While luocha and huohuo have their advantages, but fu xuan still remain on top of them. Some may argue and say: "AGAINST AOE OBVIOUSLY THE OTHERS ARE WAY BETTER! SHE LITERALLY DIES AGAINST BIG AOE DMG!!" Hahahaha 😂 as if luocha and huohuo can help you survive a big aoe. If each target would receive let's say 5k dmg, what makes you think luocha and huohuo can help you with that? Yeah sure fu xuan would die, but if you use luocha or huohuo, your whole team dies against that In my opinion there are two types of defensive pressure. One is direct pressure and the other is indirect pressure. What's the difference? Direct pressure well pretty straightforward, just dmg. Indirect pressure, would be debuffs, crowd control etc. See where I'm going? Yes, that is fu xuan's weakness compare to luocha and huohuo. While she is the best (atm) against direct pressure, but she struggles quite a bit against indirect pressure, especially against debuffs (such as dot). Why? Because these debuffs stacks. Overtime when it gets stacked up, it would be too much for her to bear as she has no way to cleanse debuffs. Even against crowd control, she doesn't necessary do better than luocha and huohuo because remember, her cc cleanse is one time use after you cast skill. So unless you keep casting her skill (which is actually a viable strategy) against enemies who has like a million cc, or else she would struggle against it One other advantage she has compare to luocha and huohuo, is that she actually deals dmg. "Wow you look at her ult you see it deals dmg and you'd think she is a dps 😂 If that's the case then even my luocha is a dps. Heck, he even scales with atk so he would be way better right 🤣" Well, on paper luocha has 200% multiplier on his ult whereas fu xuan only has 100%, on that note it seems like that might be true right? But here's the thing, for every character base hp is always higher than base atk. Which means it's very easy for one to have higher hp than atk. That means hp has a higher base than atk when being used as the dmg multiplier. So when you look back, 200% atk multiplier compare to 100% hp multiplier, you'd realize the latter is better. Not to mention for luocha you'd only get like 4~5k atk at most (which in most case you won't), whereas for fu xuan it's very easy to achieve 7~8k hp, even 10k. So yeah, fu xuan actually packs quite a big punch. Just give her better relics and you'll see. E6 is not the only way *Ruan mei* The other one of the two most valuable characters in my opinion. Some genius would call her a mini pela, which I have no idea why. Not only their functions are not even close, their value is also not even close. Ruan mei is obviously way better than pela. Some people used the average clear time in last moc cycle that is full of ice weak enemies and use it as a proof that ruan mei is merely on par with pela. But the thing is, ice weakness doesn't benefit ruan mei by much at all. She literally only have one form of attack, which is normal attack. How can she benefit from ice weakness? So of course pela can compete with ruan mei in this situation. Because ice weakness benefits pela, but not ruan mei. Without ice weakness, what makes you think pela is even comparable to ruan mei? Some people may use bronya to compare with ruan mei instead. But remember, ruan mei focus on buffing the whole team, whereas bronya focus on one teammate. So obviously what type of teams they are made for, and they obviously don't take each other's places at all *Huohuo* The other one of the only two characters who generates energy (atm). That alone should tell you her advantage compare to luocha. Some people may still argue that luocha is still better than huohuo, I'd say it depends. One is more defensive one is more offensive. While one has higher floor the other has higher ceiling. So it's hard to say which one of them is better than the other definitively. But then again it doesn't really matter which one of them two is better, because neither of them are better than fu xuan anyway (yeah fu xuan is just that good) So yeah, that sums it up. Again, I'm really glad to see someone who doesn't blindly praises pela and jingliu. It pains me whenever people keep praising them to the point where they'd use pela to bash on people who think silver wolf is good, or bash on anyone who decided to skip jingliu. "Imagine needing silver wolf when you have pela", "Imagine needing x when you have jingliu" etc. Anyway enough ranting, keep up the good work!

I've just been improvising in selecting my 5 star banner. Never knew these were one the most important characters than can make a big flexible difference. Most of the time these characters were my second choice or a fluke because i hadn't enough currency to pull my 1st desired character. Guess i have been lucky
I'd argue Kafka will be one of the most important with time. Since she's no traditional damage dealer, but rather enables frontloaded DoT damage; as long as she doesn't get replaced by a better DoT enabler she will only continue becoming more powerful. For the sake of the argument, let's say that the game is moving into a meta focused on debuffs and DoT like our dear friend L+Ratio is kinda implying. Kafka will not only be buffed herself, she will also buff every new character who contributes to that meta
that's why i love her, she's as future proof as a unit can be. The ONLY ways that kafka doesn't stay meta is if they make 2 dots characters which are just so fucking strong by themselves that those two together deal more damage than one of them + kafka, which is honestly unlikely. Either that or they make another dot detonator which would either make kafka shit or be a sidegrade, in which case, why? Like, cool you could have 2 DoT teams for MOC, which doesn't sound too bad but most people ain't gonna pull them.
I feel like blade should've been somehwere in this list, he's probably the most accruate depiction based on his path and how he functions as a character unlike dhil/jl
Destruction path means sacrificing something for dmg. It doesn't have to be hp. Jingliu sacrifices team-wide hp and Dan IL sacrifices skill points to do bigger dmg. Clara sacrifices herself to get taunted more often from her ult.
The most accurate imo is Arlan. He drains HP and does more damage the more hurt he is. Fits destruction to a T. -Also dark skinned, white haired, scar ridden looks even make him match the Aeon Nanook’s appearance-

Kafka could have deserved an honorable mention, based on the fact, that she WILL enable any upcoming DoT focused character. Limiting as is, not just she will benefit, but the character she is paired with as well.
My only thing with the Huohuo vs Luocha is, she takes a lot more SP to be inserted into a team while Luocha takes 0, and also her not really having an emergency heal, I find that she's good when you can use her, but she isn't easily slapped into teams unless you consider her SP needs. if not then her Ult takes way to long to use, I have both and I feel like they are on par with each other, unless you just straight up ignore Huohuo's cons. Personally though I end up using Luocha and Fu xuan way more than I use my huohuo, just based off the fact that she isn't usually worth picking another character over her, unless it makes sense in the rotation.
I dont really run into sp issues but thats bc I have 2 characters that mitigate my sp usage(ruan mei LC + e3s2 bronya) but the main issue, as you point out, is the fact that she lacks emergency healing. Dont get me wrong her healing is insane, even more so coupled with her LC, but the amount of times a character has died simply because she lacked the emergency makes her pretty disapointing.
@@MoriartyUC the sp issue just depends on the team, either way she’s an SP neutral character, so if your team compensated for that then great, is not then it is what it is.
I think Kafka and Topaz could have been in the honorable mentions because they are not simple dps characters, they are the enablers of two types of teams, dot teams and follow up teams cant perform at a high level without them.
I do think Kafka should have been in honorable mentions tbh, her play style is unique, and she is basically the glue to DoT teams, unless a new character release that can do what she can do and more she is very hard to power creep (and that unit would be busted)
Kinda interesting to see that at least three of them- Fu Xuan, Ruan Mei, and Huohuo have some sort of 'secondary class' into their kit. That said, I am looking forward to Fu Xuan's eventual rerun. I ran out of Stellar Jades during her debut banner, and the only Preservation unit that I have levelled up is the Fire Trailblazer. If she's not outclassed by someone else by then, I am more than willing to get her~! I'm already farming the Preservation Trace materials lol.
I believe Pela is better than Silver Wolf in other teams that are not Ruan Mei Quantum, cause most teams would love Pela's AOE - Def% and not many teams want that Single target - Def%, also Pela can do a first turn Ult even without SW lightcone, also you can build Pela as a DPS and still work as a debuffer xD with Pearls or GNSW Luocha got powercreeped way too fast, I use to regret not pulling but now Hue hue is far better
HuoHuo is way too versatile for a healer and in E2 she can auto-revive characters twice per battle if having provision passive ongoing. >_< I am happy she got included in your top 5 ^=^
I chose not pulling for Huo Huo and not gonna lie I really don't regret doing so that much. Granted she's super OP but I'm already very happy with Luocha already. He deals relatively good damage when given the right stats and the safe feeling whenever his field is on is just so good.
i mean it isn't surprising that most of the really good and future proof units are buffers/debuffers, because they can just go into any team. Like yeah jingliu is strong but only against ice weak enemies, other weaknesses and you should use someone else. RM on the other hand? fuck it, put her on almost any team and it's straight up just a damage increase. SW? same thing. Now obviously, and thankfully, the harmony units we have right now all kinda have a spot they excel at. Tingyun is more of a hypercarry support, bronya is for CD and turn manipulation, RM is for enemy action delay. They all work in almost any team but they have their niche that they work the best in. That's a really good sign for the longevity of the game, the devs actually have a clue on how to build characters that can stay relevant for a good chunk of time. And from the leaks they're cooking some interesting stuff for the upcoming characters Now obviously we're still very early on in the game's lifespan. I'm sure that at the end of 2.x bronya and tingyun might not be as important as they are right now, but that doesn't mean they won't be useable.
As a scaredy-cat, I put a lot of Value in Luocha's ability to directly heal a chosen party member. As cool as it is to have regen, it just feels safer to have a Heal "Button" for when something goes wrong ^^' Lovley to have this informative list! Thank you.

@@oyfum2638 sw's skill is literally one of the best abilities in the game. on top of that, she can put def down among other debuffs. thats VERY high value compared to a single target buffer as for bronya, her skill is just.. too good. turn manipulation, and free dmg boost. not limited to atk like tingyun's and we'll get more characters overtime that scales with other stats (most especially when paired with f2p yukong lc which everyone has access to). also the most future proof character, especially when shes a standard tingyun is good. she does her job well as a harmony character but with a battery gimmick compared to implanting weaknesses and instant turn its just not that insane

Silverwolf is voiced by the same VA that voiced Dendi in okko, i recognized the voice like immediately when ai hear in in the game. Also silver wolf's HI3rd varient is Bronie who is like an alternate version of bronya, with the same abilities as silver wolf.
You missed that Luocha also cleanses. This is a big deal as he doesn’t “just heal”. He cleanses debuffs (for free with his emergency heal), has AoE buff strip AND heals, all while being 100% SP positive.
I got Huohuo without much thought (when she came out I had started rhe game relatively decent and didn't understand how things worked that well) and only pulled her because she looked a little spooky and I like that. Probably the best thoughtless decision I've ever made. Bailu you are fantastic and carried me through early game but Huohuo's cleansing is a godsend. Mine is also the character I have with most HP. She is not easy to kill. Also because her skill isn't random I always know where my healing goes... And of course, her ultimate is great, but as a healer she is so good. Silver Wolf basically neans you can enter any fight with no worries so I'm also super glad I got her. Ruan Mei too but everyone already knows that..using her in Simulated Universe is just expected. I wish I could get Fu Xuan. She's the only on this list I don't currently possess except Bronya but Bronya I'll get eventually because she's standard.
Seele, Bronya and Silver Wolf in one team realy realy powerful. Especially if you have E4 Bronya, because if SW add a wind weakness instead of quantum (rarely but happen) Bronya will have a followup attack so it's not fully wasted. This team with a Trailblazer or any of the mentioned heal and tank units and you are almost unstoppable. But Lynx as a Q heal also good option here.
every team needs at least on support and abundance unit, the rest could be hunt, destruction, erudition ect. The best option would be a nihility oe erudition such as kafka for her insane dot and a unit that benefits from debuffs on enemy's or buffs on your self. And if you are building a kafka team bronya, with black swan and kafka would go crazy with both black swan and bronya buffing kafka as well as a fourth unit to act as sustain and also free skill points.
Ruan Mei help breeze through SU with ease aside from boss battle which she still doing a dam good job at. Cast the talent, attack then boom. The battle is over. Yhen you can rush to another round 😄😄😄
Much as I would like to defend Silver Wolf I have to say she doesn’t really belong with the rest of these. Pela outperforms her in too many teams for her to be in the top 5 and Pela not. She’s the goat for new players though, no question. But at some points most accounts start to value Pela over SW, and I say this as a quantum bro myself… she’s still very useful and having two DEF shred supports is better than just one, but top 5 units is a bit much.
I disagree with silver wolf on the list basically anywhere you can use her pela is also competitive if not better she is good but she still feels like a slight upgrade or side grade to a 4 star granted a really good one but in no way is she an important character to roll on. as for adding weakness it arguably doesn't matter right now because the best DPS literally just don't care about your ice/imaginary resistances they just burst you through it. everybody else was fine and I do agree that the DPS would have to be literally broken to make it on the list and while you probably should have either a DHIL or jing liu on the account for how game breaking the damage is neither by themselves would make it I would argue if the other one didn't exist you could actually put them on the list but due to them competing against each other it actually makes it so they aren't as valuable from an account perspective.
Dr Ratio sometimes because he also needs characters so he can do the FUA damage. So like it has the debuff count as Kafka but instead of limiting to just DoTs it is now any Debuffs, and then the FUA enabler as Topaz
@@kidsIIIII009 not realy, while ratio needs debuffs to work at 100% for the debuffer it does not matter if the attacking char is ratio or every other high dmg char that will come in the future or is out at the moment. in kafkas case she enables an additional dot tick (two if you count her ult), regardless what future dot chars come they will profit from her, even if they outperform kafka in dmg, kafka is usefull as she can boost that dmg even higher

I have E6 Tingyun, Ruan Mei, Bronya and SW. Really like Fu Xuan Luocha so I’m saving for the both of them - tried to pull Huohuo, even painted her a portrait as a ritual and hung her up above my bed right before her banner… Bronya E1 screwed me over Can guarantee - This list is very accurate. Supports are the most important. My only 5* dps is Ratio and Jing Yuan and I’m doing well in this game. Only trailblaze lvl 52 since i used to be casual, but I’m working my way up
Okay off topic, i genuinely think bronya and silverwolf is sisters. Think about them, they look so alike and they both don't know their origins. I know it's not a lot but i think they are very strong leads ;-; very informative video!
one team I use in sim universe is Jingliu Silver wolf Ruan Mei and huohuo Ruan mei can completely one shot MOST of the encounters in the run saving time which means you can get blessings faster and Silver wolf can do massive def down and drop ice weak For Farming I use Jingliu Tingyun Ruan mei huohuo Tingyun and huohuo can make jingliu stay in her enhanced state which at 50-52% crit rate is 100% crit rate in enchanced. Which is very good

Lynx does have the emergency button feature, but HH is just another level... i'm really curious - how will Sparkle compare to Bronya? i kind of have a feeling they will be on-par (so far HSR is doing a great work balancing the new characters), but will she need mono quantum to truly shine? or it will be just an added bonus?... i wouldn't mind that at all - i love using mono quantum, even more since Xueyi came out - but i feel like that would be a bad decision on hoyo's part?... thanks for the video - great list, great editing, pleasure to watch!
One thing I want to add to what you said about Silver Wolf: Defense shredding is the only damage amplifying mechanic in the game that scales exponentially. Every other damage boost scales linearally. That's why her and Pela are such powerful units. In my opinion Pela is better than Silver Wolf though because 1. The game requires you to have at least some form of AoE abilities because there is no true single target boss that comes without at least some kind of mobs or summons. Memory of Chaos also always comes with 2 Elite enemies and Pure Fiction speaks for itself. 2. Pela has way faster Energy regeneration so her uptime on her AoE defense shred is close to 100% if used correctly. 3. Getting Eidolons is far easier on Pela than on Silver Wolf. Both work at E0 but E6 Pela allows you to upgrade her Ult to level 12 which is the highest multiplier on a defense shred in the entire game. I'm not saying that Silver Wolf is bad by any means though. You can for example use both of them in the same team for stonkers defense shredding.
Hopefully you'd make a video of your thoughts and maybe favorites on the non-support characters and the DPS with a bonus characters. Not really a "best" list but rather something like what traits of what characters you want to mention are nice, like Welt being able to go for a DPS foregoing EHR or be a support foregoing crit stats, among others.
I do kick myself a little for not pulling more seriously for Huohuo when she first came out. To be fair though, I had only recently gotten the game and did not know any better at the time, so it's partial my own fault...

Fuxuan is literally the game-changing unit for me, glad i skipped dan heng for this girl. She literally does almost everything. tanking, crowd control res, hp buff to the team (which can be somewhat good for blade an future potential hp scaling dps and supports), crit rate buff and with e1 more crit dmg + her LC more dmg buff, moderate healing and a bit of dmg from her ult which can help break enemies with quantum weakness.. She offers a ton of comfy gameplay. She allows herself as a preservation unit to be paired with units that don't like shields like blade and arlan. She is a unique preservation unit because preservation units mainly emphasize on shield while she doesn't. She is the reason i can squeeze through swarm disaster easily and she became my priority unit to challenge the new SU, gold and gears. Before i got her i was having a lot of trouble in swarm disaster. I will never take her off from the teams in the future since her crit rate buff is so useful.
I genuinely believe she'll be the hardest too powercreep of all limited sustains. Can't see us getting such a broken Preservation unit on her level or beyond for a very long time.

needless to say Aventurine pushed her down a rank, yet she has a strong ground, I use her and got her in the rerun, the only problem is when a single high dmg aoe comes, she dies 😭.

Started super late though during seeles rerun/huohuo banner n missed out on a lot of good free LCs but it’s still worth it since i only spent maybe 80$ total n got huohuo, blade, & lost 50/50 to Gepard. Now just to save for sparkle & fu xuan & Sam

Though an odd one I'd add as an honorable mention is Blade purely for his team versatility
He's basically self sufficient and perfect to slot into any team if you want a sub dps.
You can use him whenever you need wind break or just someone that can do full enemy side damage without needing pretty much any skill points.
He also mostly scales off of HP so he's pretty tanky resulting in not needing as much babysitting from the sustain.
Especially since he can simply sustain himself by his Ult bringing him to half health and some of his attacks healing him under certain conditions

Bc Yanqing's passive is too inconsistent unless you bring at least a sheilder or taunter to support him as him losing any hp to enemies just de-activates his passive, which is very bad as his passive is a fat chunk of his damage. & right now brining a sheilder or taunter is just a waste of a precious team slot bc the only options are fire MC, March, & Gepard. Well, Gepard is mostly fine tbh, but the issue is not everyone has him. So if you do, by all means run Yanqing. But regarding March or fire MC, if you have Fu Xuan, Loucha, or Huo Huo & they are way better options & none of those three synergize with Yanqing at all.
In the future if they release another sheild/taunt based preservation unit that can solo sustain the team, that may put Yanqing back on the map meta wise.

Yeah, Argenti is a beast. I'm glad I pulled him. When they gave us that free 10 pull for the game awards, I pulled on his banner for the hell of it and got him. HuoHuo has replaced Bilou on every team. Also, never losing my 50/50's really help with getting certain units. My luck is so insane on this game that I believe it's taking all of the luck I should have on genshin and placing it into my HRS pulls

My biggest regret in this game is not pulling HH not only is she very cute and funny😭 but she has so much value. Kafka's CC destroys me in MOC. Having a character that has that god level cleanse is absolutely necessary. The best part about her is that 20% teamwide energy regen which is pure madness and as a Jingliu main sounds perfect for me.
She has the beat cleanse and she has really decent harmony buffs, giving a big atk boosts and energy to the whole team. That's an upgraded tingyun i see.
At this point I might as well pull her on her rerun besides Fu Xuan.

My biggest regret for me is pulling HH for 140 pulls, and she is not that great. And you got arlan, serval and dan heng and all of them is kinda weak. HH E0 is not that great. She cleanse well, but she cannot handle big hitter. So, every time I do MOC with her, many times I do reset, to make sure the big hitters do not kill one member. I think HH is like semi healer semi harmony, but the sustain things is not that great.
Most important is Dr. Ratio for what he's been doing to Genshin's playerbase.
Unironically, the CN Genshin players are starting to quit and hopefully that's a sign of growth for the game.

I do prefer Luocha over any of the other heals. Sadly I lost my 50/50 on his banner to Bailu (ironic its another abundance). I would also say that Pela is a crazy good support especially if you have E0 Ruan Mei since Def shred and removing enemy buffs is such a big thing and can be really useful
As someone who loves Loucha, I'm happy to see him mentioned. He does good damage and his heals are life saving

I lost my first limited-banner 50/50 chasing Silver Wolf to... Bronya. Yeah, the irony. So, through the months, I've not been flush enough to go for Luocha, but have picked up the others (sometimes _barely,_ like Huohuo). It is very nice that Tingyun is available in the -Starglitter- shop, so Foxian Bennett can be built up despite unfortunate warps.
Kafka should’ve been an honorable mention atleast just cause even if they make a second unit that can do the same thing she does, so long as they’re not also the same element, you can just field them both and have them setting off DOTs nonstop.
What the characters in this list have in common is the ability to fit in every team they can be put in. Damage dealers like Kafka can always be replaced, not to mention her being limited to DoT.
Support characters are staple, the damage dealers they support change infinitely.
Look at Bennett in Genshin. His standing as a great support didn't change, but the DPS he supports can vary greatly.

I think Jingliu has a decent argument for being future proof, maybe not as much as some supports, but considering that she doesn't consume skill points like crazy like DHIL does and that she works great with Ruan Mei who buffs the entire team so even if Jingliu herself gets powercreeped, she'd still be best in slot for second dps in a dual dps team, aka she has a "second chance" in regards to being powercreeped.
Also I think it's obvious especially if you've seen leaks but Kafka will just get stronger and stronger, she ain't falling off anytime soon.
She is also a future investment apart from being a really strong dps. Her kit drains hp which is beneficial for blade. If we get a unit later in the future that benefits from getting its hp drained then jingliu will shine there. It mustn't be a dps, can be a support or sustain. That's the reason i chose jingliu over Dan IL. It's similar to the case of topaz with her follow up buff greatlt benefits any FUA dps now and later especially with Dr ratio now.
Topaz also which is the same explanation as Kafka as she needs other characters so Topaz can do the damage
my tingyun is spread so thin between 2 teams and another upcoming team...the 50 energy makes such a huge difference

I saved my Jades since I pulled Seele at patch 1.1 just for Fu Xuan. The reason is I fell in love with her design since I first saw her. (Yes, she is the hottest character in HSR and I will die on this hill.)
Ever since then, my HSR journey has been very smooth. Not to mention that I also have Huohuo.
Although yes, I don't play endgame as much. But nonetheless, pulling Lady Fu and Huohuo have been worth the Jades and patience it requires for me to collect it and reject the temptation on other banners.

She's an enabler for DoT, not a damage amplifier like SW/Bronya/RM.
Also she cant keep your team alive like Luocha/FX/HH.
Not really a unit you can put in any composition, even if she's a pretty strong damage dealer

*Tingyun*
One of the only two characters who can generate energy in the game as of the moment. Energy is very important if you don't know that already. Even if her atk buff is useless, you can always trust her energy generation
*Luocha*
Probably the one that I agree the least with, still he's a pretty valuable unit. But there's something I have to talk about regarding him. It's that most people doesn't really know his advantages compare to the other sustain options
Whenever people think of luocha, generating sp, heal and cleanses seems to be the only things people can think of. But let me tell you, those are not his true advantages. While yes for a support characters sp positive certainly is better than neutral or negative, but the most efficient way to use sp is to use up every single one that can be used. If you have like 5 sp when the battle end, what are you saving it for, chinese new year? If a character can generate sp, you'd prefer to pair someone who can use the sp generated by them. But not everyone is sp hungry. So being sp positive at best is merely a benefit, it's not an advantage at all
He also heal and cleanse yes, but so does the other limited sustain characters. Huohuo even does it way better than he can. You'd have to be below 50% hp in order for him to proc his passive you know? So what is his true advantage compare to the other? It's his buff cleansing. That is something that neither fu xuan or huohuo can do. His buff cleansing may seem niche atm, but it's very valuable whenever the enemies have a certain buffed state that provide them extra capability. The best example would be the mara thingy that can resurrect. The point is, as long as the enemies have a disgusting but cleansable buff, he will be more favorable than the other options
*Silver wolf*
A lot of people think she's a scam, worse than pela or whatever. But I can assure you, she's not. Other than the ones listed in this video, the other thing she can do is dealing dmg, which is overlooked by many people. If you only stack effect hit rate on her, then obviously she's not going to deal any dmg. Look at her skill multiplier, it's literally on par with seele. So when you combine that with her capabilities mentioned in this video, you'd realize that she's not just there to implant weakness, she's there to anplify the entire team's single target dmg. As the video mentioned, if you give buff to one teammate, that's one teammate who gets benefited. But if you apply debuff to one enemy, that's the whole team sharing the benefit.
"BUT IN AOE PELA IS STILL WAY BETTER SO YOU ARE WRONG! SILVER WOLF IS STILL WORTHLESS BECAUSE PELA EXIST!!" Ermmm, are you sure about that? Does anyone of you remember why erudition is considered bad back in the day? It's because even if the battle started with 5 enemies, if there's only 1 remaining that means you are losing a lot of dmg. Other than that, in practice you'd rather focus one enemy down first instead of dealing equal dmg to every one of them. Why? Because what's likely to happen is that you didn't kill any of them, and they proceed to kill you. It's that simple. But if you focus down one of them, that means you have less pressure on the defensive side which means easier to survive. So, pela really doesn't necessary have the edge over silver wolf in aoe. Unless, you're in situation where the enemies would duplicate themselves (like the swarm) or even better example, pure fiction
*Bronya*
Extra turn is stonk
*Fu xuan*
In my opinion one of the two most valuable characters in the game as of the moment. While luocha and huohuo have their advantages, but fu xuan still remain on top of them. Some may argue and say: "AGAINST AOE OBVIOUSLY THE OTHERS ARE WAY BETTER! SHE LITERALLY DIES AGAINST BIG AOE DMG!!" Hahahaha 😂 as if luocha and huohuo can help you survive a big aoe. If each target would receive let's say 5k dmg, what makes you think luocha and huohuo can help you with that? Yeah sure fu xuan would die, but if you use luocha or huohuo, your whole team dies against that
In my opinion there are two types of defensive pressure. One is direct pressure and the other is indirect pressure. What's the difference? Direct pressure well pretty straightforward, just dmg. Indirect pressure, would be debuffs, crowd control etc. See where I'm going? Yes, that is fu xuan's weakness compare to luocha and huohuo. While she is the best (atm) against direct pressure, but she struggles quite a bit against indirect pressure, especially against debuffs (such as dot). Why? Because these debuffs stacks. Overtime when it gets stacked up, it would be too much for her to bear as she has no way to cleanse debuffs. Even against crowd control, she doesn't necessary do better than luocha and huohuo because remember, her cc cleanse is one time use after you cast skill. So unless you keep casting her skill (which is actually a viable strategy) against enemies who has like a million cc, or else she would struggle against it
One other advantage she has compare to luocha and huohuo, is that she actually deals dmg. "Wow you look at her ult you see it deals dmg and you'd think she is a dps 😂 If that's the case then even my luocha is a dps. Heck, he even scales with atk so he would be way better right 🤣" Well, on paper luocha has 200% multiplier on his ult whereas fu xuan only has 100%, on that note it seems like that might be true right? But here's the thing, for every character base hp is always higher than base atk. Which means it's very easy for one to have higher hp than atk. That means hp has a higher base than atk when being used as the dmg multiplier. So when you look back, 200% atk multiplier compare to 100% hp multiplier, you'd realize the latter is better. Not to mention for luocha you'd only get like 4~5k atk at most (which in most case you won't), whereas for fu xuan it's very easy to achieve 7~8k hp, even 10k. So yeah, fu xuan actually packs quite a big punch. Just give her better relics and you'll see. E6 is not the only way
*Ruan mei*
The other one of the two most valuable characters in my opinion. Some genius would call her a mini pela, which I have no idea why. Not only their functions are not even close, their value is also not even close. Ruan mei is obviously way better than pela. Some people used the average clear time in last moc cycle that is full of ice weak enemies and use it as a proof that ruan mei is merely on par with pela. But the thing is, ice weakness doesn't benefit ruan mei by much at all. She literally only have one form of attack, which is normal attack. How can she benefit from ice weakness? So of course pela can compete with ruan mei in this situation. Because ice weakness benefits pela, but not ruan mei. Without ice weakness, what makes you think pela is even comparable to ruan mei?
Some people may use bronya to compare with ruan mei instead. But remember, ruan mei focus on buffing the whole team, whereas bronya focus on one teammate. So obviously what type of teams they are made for, and they obviously don't take each other's places at all
*Huohuo*
The other one of the only two characters who generates energy (atm). That alone should tell you her advantage compare to luocha. Some people may still argue that luocha is still better than huohuo, I'd say it depends. One is more defensive one is more offensive. While one has higher floor the other has higher ceiling. So it's hard to say which one of them is better than the other definitively. But then again it doesn't really matter which one of them two is better, because neither of them are better than fu xuan anyway (yeah fu xuan is just that good)
So yeah, that sums it up. Again, I'm really glad to see someone who doesn't blindly praises pela and jingliu. It pains me whenever people keep praising them to the point where they'd use pela to bash on people who think silver wolf is good, or bash on anyone who decided to skip jingliu. "Imagine needing silver wolf when you have pela", "Imagine needing x when you have jingliu" etc. Anyway enough ranting, keep up the good work!

I've just been improvising in selecting my 5 star banner. Never knew these were one the most important characters than can make a big flexible difference. Most of the time these characters were my second choice or a fluke because i hadn't enough currency to pull my 1st desired character. Guess i have been lucky

Lynx can cleanse all party members with her burst so you can kinda say she doesn't need her turn either
but her cleanse is tied to her ult and she cant ult if shes disabled or not at full energy. huohuo literally cleanses at the beginning of every turn

I'd argue Kafka will be one of the most important with time. Since she's no traditional damage dealer, but rather enables frontloaded DoT damage; as long as she doesn't get replaced by a better DoT enabler she will only continue becoming more powerful.
For the sake of the argument, let's say that the game is moving into a meta focused on debuffs and DoT like our dear friend L+Ratio is kinda implying. Kafka will not only be buffed herself, she will also buff every new character who contributes to that meta
The only way they can make another dot enabler better than Kafka to make everyone pull for it will be making dot crit💀

that's why i love her, she's as future proof as a unit can be. The ONLY ways that kafka doesn't stay meta is if they make 2 dots characters which are just so fucking strong by themselves that those two together deal more damage than one of them + kafka, which is honestly unlikely.
Either that or they make another dot detonator which would either make kafka shit or be a sidegrade, in which case, why? Like, cool you could have 2 DoT teams for MOC, which doesn't sound too bad but most people ain't gonna pull them.

Destruction path means sacrificing something for dmg. It doesn't have to be hp. Jingliu sacrifices team-wide hp and Dan IL sacrifices skill points to do bigger dmg. Clara sacrifices herself to get taunted more often from her ult.
The most accurate imo is Arlan. He drains HP and does more damage the more hurt he is. Fits destruction to a T. -Also dark skinned, white haired, scar ridden looks even make him match the Aeon Nanook’s appearance-
@@opbattleaxe8744Arlan has no SP consumption so he sometimes really shines with E1 Sushang when the battle conditions like “If the character uses a SP that character gets another turn”
Kafka could have deserved an honorable mention, based on the fact, that she WILL enable any upcoming DoT focused character. Limiting as is, not just she will benefit, but the character she is paired with as well.

My only thing with the Huohuo vs Luocha is, she takes a lot more SP to be inserted into a team while Luocha takes 0, and also her not really having an emergency heal, I find that she's good when you can use her, but she isn't easily slapped into teams unless you consider her SP needs. if not then her Ult takes way to long to use, I have both and I feel like they are on par with each other, unless you just straight up ignore Huohuo's cons. Personally though I end up using Luocha and Fu xuan way more than I use my huohuo, just based off the fact that she isn't usually worth picking another character over her, unless it makes sense in the rotation.
I dont really run into sp issues but thats bc I have 2 characters that mitigate my sp usage(ruan mei LC + e3s2 bronya) but the main issue, as you point out, is the fact that she lacks emergency healing. Dont get me wrong her healing is insane, even more so coupled with her LC, but the amount of times a character has died simply because she lacked the emergency makes her pretty disapointing.
@@MoriartyUC the sp issue just depends on the team, either way she’s an SP neutral character, so if your team compensated for that then great, is not then it is what it is.

I think Kafka and Topaz could have been in the honorable mentions because they are not simple dps characters, they are the enablers of two types of teams, dot teams and follow up teams cant perform at a high level without them.
I do think Kafka should have been in honorable mentions tbh, her play style is unique, and she is basically the glue to DoT teams, unless a new character release that can do what she can do and more she is very hard to power creep (and that unit would be busted)
I find it very depressing that out of all the characters in this list that are mentioned, I only have Tingyun.
Kinda interesting to see that at least three of them- Fu Xuan, Ruan Mei, and Huohuo have some sort of 'secondary class' into their kit.
That said, I am looking forward to Fu Xuan's eventual rerun. I ran out of Stellar Jades during her debut banner, and the only Preservation unit that I have levelled up is the Fire Trailblazer. If she's not outclassed by someone else by then, I am more than willing to get her~! I'm already farming the Preservation Trace materials lol.
I believe Pela is better than Silver Wolf in other teams that are not Ruan Mei Quantum, cause most teams would love Pela's AOE - Def% and not many teams want that Single target - Def%, also Pela can do a first turn Ult even without SW lightcone, also you can build Pela as a DPS and still work as a debuffer xD with Pearls or GNSW
Luocha got powercreeped way too fast, I use to regret not pulling but now Hue hue is far better
HuoHuo is way too versatile for a healer and in E2 she can auto-revive characters twice per battle if having provision passive ongoing. >_< I am happy she got included in your top 5 ^=^

I chose not pulling for Huo Huo and not gonna lie I really don't regret doing so that much. Granted she's super OP but I'm already very happy with Luocha already. He deals relatively good damage when given the right stats and the safe feeling whenever his field is on is just so good.
i mean it isn't surprising that most of the really good and future proof units are buffers/debuffers, because they can just go into any team. Like yeah jingliu is strong but only against ice weak enemies, other weaknesses and you should use someone else. RM on the other hand? fuck it, put her on almost any team and it's straight up just a damage increase. SW? same thing.
Now obviously, and thankfully, the harmony units we have right now all kinda have a spot they excel at. Tingyun is more of a hypercarry support, bronya is for CD and turn manipulation, RM is for enemy action delay. They all work in almost any team but they have their niche that they work the best in. That's a really good sign for the longevity of the game, the devs actually have a clue on how to build characters that can stay relevant for a good chunk of time. And from the leaks they're cooking some interesting stuff for the upcoming characters
Now obviously we're still very early on in the game's lifespan. I'm sure that at the end of 2.x bronya and tingyun might not be as important as they are right now, but that doesn't mean they won't be useable.

As a scaredy-cat, I put a lot of Value in Luocha's ability to directly heal a chosen party member. As cool as it is to have regen, it just feels safer to have a Heal "Button" for when something goes wrong ^^'

@@oyfum2638 sw's skill is literally one of the best abilities in the game. on top of that, she can put def down among other debuffs. thats VERY high value compared to a single target buffer
as for bronya, her skill is just.. too good. turn manipulation, and free dmg boost. not limited to atk like tingyun's and we'll get more characters overtime that scales with other stats (most especially when paired with f2p yukong lc which everyone has access to). also the most future proof character, especially when shes a standard
tingyun is good. she does her job well as a harmony character but with a battery gimmick compared to implanting weaknesses and instant turn its just not that insane

I benched SW for about 3 patches just because I don't need the weakness apply. Now She's glued to Dr. Ratio and I play them a lot.
Silverwolf is voiced by the same VA that voiced Dendi in okko, i recognized the voice like immediately when ai hear in in the game. Also silver wolf's HI3rd varient is Bronie who is like an alternate version of bronya, with the same abilities as silver wolf.

You missed that Luocha also cleanses. This is a big deal as he doesn’t “just heal”. He cleanses debuffs (for free with his emergency heal), has AoE buff strip AND heals, all while being 100% SP positive.

I got Huohuo without much thought (when she came out I had started rhe game relatively decent and didn't understand how things worked that well) and only pulled her because she looked a little spooky and I like that.
Probably the best thoughtless decision I've ever made. Bailu you are fantastic and carried me through early game but Huohuo's cleansing is a godsend. Mine is also the character I have with most HP. She is not easy to kill. Also because her skill isn't random I always know where my healing goes...
And of course, her ultimate is great, but as a healer she is so good.
Silver Wolf basically neans you can enter any fight with no worries so I'm also super glad I got her.
Ruan Mei too but everyone already knows that..using her in Simulated Universe is just expected.
I wish I could get Fu Xuan. She's the only on this list I don't currently possess except Bronya but Bronya I'll get eventually because she's standard.
Seele, Bronya and Silver Wolf in one team realy realy powerful. Especially if you have E4 Bronya, because if SW add a wind weakness instead of quantum (rarely but happen) Bronya will have a followup attack so it's not fully wasted. This team with a Trailblazer or any of the mentioned heal and tank units and you are almost unstoppable. But Lynx as a Q heal also good option here.
if u have fu xuan with her LC she can solo sustain for a long time, providing heals and dmg mitigation

every team needs at least on support and abundance unit, the rest could be hunt, destruction, erudition ect. The best option would be a nihility oe erudition such as kafka for her insane dot and a unit that benefits from debuffs on enemy's or buffs on your self. And if you are building a kafka team bronya, with black swan and kafka would go crazy with both black swan and bronya buffing kafka as well as a fourth unit to act as sustain and also free skill points.

Ruan Mei help breeze through SU with ease aside from boss battle which she still doing a dam good job at. Cast the talent, attack then boom. The battle is over. Yhen you can rush to another round 😄😄😄
Much as I would like to defend Silver Wolf I have to say she doesn’t really belong with the rest of these. Pela outperforms her in too many teams for her to be in the top 5 and Pela not. She’s the goat for new players though, no question. But at some points most accounts start to value Pela over SW, and I say this as a quantum bro myself… she’s still very useful and having two DEF shred supports is better than just one, but top 5 units is a bit much.
I disagree with silver wolf on the list basically anywhere you can use her pela is also competitive if not better she is good but she still feels like a slight upgrade or side grade to a 4 star granted a really good one but in no way is she an important character to roll on. as for adding weakness it arguably doesn't matter right now because the best DPS literally just don't care about your ice/imaginary resistances they just burst you through it. everybody else was fine and I do agree that the DPS would have to be literally broken to make it on the list and while you probably should have either a DHIL or jing liu on the account for how game breaking the damage is neither by themselves would make it I would argue if the other one didn't exist you could actually put them on the list but due to them competing against each other it actually makes it so they aren't as valuable from an account perspective.

Dr Ratio sometimes because he also needs characters so he can do the FUA damage. So like it has the debuff count as Kafka but instead of limiting to just DoTs it is now any Debuffs, and then the FUA enabler as Topaz
@@kidsIIIII009 not realy, while ratio needs debuffs to work at 100% for the debuffer it does not matter if the attacking char is ratio or every other high dmg char that will come in the future or is out at the moment. in kafkas case she enables an additional dot tick (two if you count her ult), regardless what future dot chars come they will profit from her, even if they outperform kafka in dmg, kafka is usefull as she can boost that dmg even higher

Supports are the most important. My only 5* dps is Ratio and Jing Yuan and I’m doing well in this game. Only trailblaze lvl 52 since i used to be casual, but I’m working my way up

one team I use in sim universe is Jingliu Silver wolf Ruan Mei and huohuo
Ruan mei can completely one shot MOST of the encounters in the run saving time which means you can get blessings faster and
Silver wolf can do massive def down and drop ice weak
For Farming I use Jingliu Tingyun Ruan mei huohuo
Tingyun and huohuo can make jingliu stay in her enhanced state which at 50-52% crit rate is 100% crit rate in enchanced. Which is very good

totally agree with HuoHuo > Luocha - can't even count how many times her "cleanse everything!" has saved me! Lynx does have the emergency button feature, but HH is just another level...
i'm really curious - how will Sparkle compare to Bronya? i kind of have a feeling they will be on-par (so far HSR is doing a great work balancing the new characters), but will she need mono quantum to truly shine? or it will be just an added bonus?... i wouldn't mind that at all - i love using mono quantum, even more since Xueyi came out - but i feel like that would be a bad decision on hoyo's part?...

as someone who used to play FFBE hearing the BGM messed with my focus lmao
One thing I want to add to what you said about Silver Wolf: Defense shredding is the only damage amplifying mechanic in the game that scales exponentially. Every other damage boost scales linearally. That's why her and Pela are such powerful units. In my opinion Pela is better than Silver Wolf though because
1. The game requires you to have at least some form of AoE abilities because there is no true single target boss that comes without at least some kind of mobs or summons. Memory of Chaos also always comes with 2 Elite enemies and Pure Fiction speaks for itself.
2. Pela has way faster Energy regeneration so her uptime on her AoE defense shred is close to 100% if used correctly.
3. Getting Eidolons is far easier on Pela than on Silver Wolf. Both work at E0 but E6 Pela allows you to upgrade her Ult to level 12 which is the highest multiplier on a defense shred in the entire game.
I'm not saying that Silver Wolf is bad by any means though. You can for example use both of them in the same team for stonkers defense shredding.
Fu Xuan was my best pull, her dmg reduction is so busted in harder sim universe levels

Hopefully you'd make a video of your thoughts and maybe favorites on the non-support characters and the DPS with a bonus characters. Not really a "best" list but rather something like what traits of what characters you want to mention are nice, like Welt being able to go for a DPS foregoing EHR or be a support foregoing crit stats, among others.
