Another Xbox hset advantage is that it does not need the additional dongle that uses you as USB port on your console.

@@james-xf1ox lol. Didn't realize I did that.
Idk if sonys pulse headset is able to do that, but The New Wireless Headset is able to Connect the Xbox/PC with Wireless Adapter and Smartphone/PC with Bluetooth at the Same time. So for me, i just could use my Phone and talk with my Friends on PC via Discord while i Play a Crossplay Game on Xbox, for example.
Xbox sapp voice chat tingz
@Anonymous Panacea i have turtle beach stealth 700 i can do that connects directly to xbox and my phone so not a new feature but essential id say and being able to opem up the app on phone to change w.e ever presets i want like more bass or higher voice is cool
I think this is one of the reasons Microsoft are buying Discord
@@warreng5257 Microsoft wanting to buy discord isn't for the xbox platform its a business move it would be cheaper and more effective to just make a new chat feature for xbox than to spend over 10b for it on xbox
@@Nerift like I said, "one" of the reasons. I'm sure there's many reasons for them to buy Discord, that doesn't mean xbox won't bring Discord into xbox chat.
Thank you! 😊 Which headset cases do you recommend for both Xbox & playstation?
Yay i was waiting for this
My headphones in the black version have white noise when connected to a PC. Do you have this problem?
100% agree with your conclusion. I have both as well and even though I like a lot of what the 3D Pulse does; The xbox allowing you to connect to multiple devices at once with NO DONGLE makes it the winner all day for me. I love listening to podcasts while gaming so for me Xbox's offerings have become essential.
That’s the main reason I want it. Usually, I just have one ear cup on & the other ear has an earphone in which is obviously not ideal. This seems way better, I’m just concerned with sound quality since I’d be down grading from a 200$ headset
Thanks, great review!
Does anyone know if you could use the mic through the second device while gaming? Like to chat in discord via a Bluetooth phone connection while having in game audio.
Just ordered the 3d plus headset, I'm excited!
Great job 👍🏼👌🏽
Your content is amazing!
Thanks
Connecting to two devices is pretty cool and does that mean that you need the usb to connect to everything? Like I couldn't connect my phone with the ps one?
I have the Xbox head set.
2 additional advantages;
No dongle to pair to xbox console. Possesses Blue tooth.
Also, you can simultaneously pair it to your console and a bluetooth device (such as your phone). You could hear both, or use the left ear piece and rotate it to fade out the sound of one Device or the other.
@I'm a gamer you still hold the green button on the left ear until it beeps to pair, then your phone should see it (blue tooth on)
man ! i cant wait to get one 😍😍😍
Can it pair to a laptop and Xbox at the same time? Or just the phone.

Anybody have an issue with the mic not working on the Xbox headset? I really want to give this headset a chance even though i already love my RIG 800LX . But for the mic not to work straight out the box is super disappointing.
Amazing upload. I myself enjoy the Xbox headset a bit more than my Sony pulse 3d’s.
HA I’m wearing the same shirt right now. Dope vid 🤙🏽
Great comparison. However, could you in the future do a video comparing your top headsets for both PS5 and Xbox Series X on the market ? Also it seems like there’s not many next gen released headsets out in the market right now but hopefully 🙏 later this year. News on that ?

What I love best about the headset is you can Bluetooth and listen to music and take calls from your phone while it's Bluetoothed to the console! That's so awesome! And you can adjust your music and game volume so everything sounds perfect!
Sony Pulse 3D mic sounds muddy.
It's actually muddier on the series X wireless headset simply because of the bass it has as explained on this video
@@blackbankers1883 He said the mic, not the sound quality.
Also, the "muddier" sound quality on the Xbox mic can be easily fixed with the EQ.

Xbox Headset wins in my opinion
Pros
- Far comfier than the pulse 3d
- Far easier to access the volume with the wheels on the ear cups.
- Dolby atmos sound which is INCREDIBLE, if you have this headset, pair your phone or go on RUclips and type in 8D music when you have Dolby atmos selected. 😍
- Equaliser settings to fine tune to your needs.
- Can pair your phone while gaming so phone calls never require any faffing about.
- Xbox can be turned on by turning on the headset.
- Having a physical microphone is nice, also tidy that doesn't get in the way.
- Half an hour charge gives you 4 hours extra use.
- They look better than the pulse 3d
There isn't any cons when compared to the pulse 3D. If there is a con to compare to steel series is maybe the battery. 15 hours is less than the 24 hours on steel series. But who really games for 15 hours straight?
From what I know, the Pulse 3D got more buttons and instead of Dobly they use their own Tempest engine for PS games,so in order to fully experience them you would need to use Pulses on PS,plus the Pulse got a headphone jack.Still.it would be better for this guy to compare the sounds of those, since on paper they are similar but both have different sounds
@@lauraokrcinska7398 the pulse 3d come set up perfectly out the box. Xbox don't, they don't sound great by default. The eq is a faff unless you know exactly what you're doing. The xbox headset is far comfier though. No doubt in my mind about that
Hmm..aint xbox fanboys were rampaging about ps5 having battery life upto 10 hours and they prefer to have 40+hour rechargeable battery. Welp at that time i dont think anyone said "who games straight for 10 hour"
Yo I watched you years ago! You look a lot healthier my man. Keep up the good work.

Does any know if it is possible to connect multiple pulse 3D headsets to the same ps5 console?
Multiple dongles will connect at once, one dongle per headset and the ps5 has 3 USB ports. So 3 headets max
I haven't had an Xbox in about 3 years but I'm planning on getting a Series S by this time next year and when I do I'm planning on getting this Xbox headset, or a V2 if there's one out by then. I've been using LucidSound headsets since 2015 and been a big fan of the rotating earcups for game and chat volume, so having that makes these really appealing to me.
I'm getting this headset because my TV already support Dolby Atmos and my Xbox series X
If your TV supports Dolby Atmos you don't need this headset to experience it
@@DarkPanda1 I do know that I like to play with the headphones on for full immersion
Need to pay for the Dolby atmos for headphones license
I really suggest blackshark v2, It’s so much better ( v2 pro is Bluetooth but I heard it’s too quiet on ps5)
These are ass
Seems you are a real Headphone fan, intresting video, keep it up thumb up
Doesn’t the audio quality of the microphone on ps5 improve when you plug it in with the Aux as well?
Yep. I tested with a friend on a PS4 system. With AUX, the sound quality is better than wireless.
Ty!
Thank youuu. Im between both. Could you test both on ps5 and both on xbox series?
Can the pulse 3d enjoy the same dolby atmos audio as xbox headset?
The pulse 3d needs to conect to xbox via bluetooth or can we hookup the dongle?
I actually don’t know if you can use bluetooth to connect the XBox set to PS5. That would be interesting and I’d like to see someone test it. As for the pulse, these will not work on XBox. They do not use Bluetooth and the dongle is PS5 only. XBox has no dongle but can also use bluetooth so that may work the other way around. The only way I can maybe see Pulse 3D working on XBox would be if you used a wired connection. But I can’t say for sure one way or the other without testing it. Maybe I’ll do that tomorrow and let people know since I have heard people ask this but no one has said definitively if it is possible or not.
@@mandrews6282 yes you told all i thinked... but pulse works via cable on xbox on other hand xbox headset dont have p2 in so maybe it works as an "simple" bluetooth headset like those used to call on smartphone
Sony doesn’t have Dolby Atmos
@@TheLshyne Which is exactly why you would have to connect their headset to an Xbox.
@Console Gaming yeah it is. But sony has 3d tempest...exclusive and limited to some tittles...
Dolby atmos on otherhand is to every tittle and movies. However i noticed a problem that o need to do some tests. The dolby atmos detailed setup on gaming mode divide the screen in midle, left and right. Yesterday i was playing tellmewhy and thr girl was in front of screen however the sound was only on right headset. Maybe its the setup but its something i didn't noticed on PC.
On feeling, its the same and sounds same as PC dolby atmos and thats a deal because i love it on pc. Also dolby atmos app has its own adjustments so if you get an headset with heavy bass them you can adjust inside atmos settup.
Just turn the first two eq settings down all the way and adjust the other three settings to your liking on the xbox wireless headset and they sound amazing especially with dolby atmos on
They don't though playing hive busters with dolby all ya hear is boom boom boom hard even make out voices it's so bass heavy

Спасибо за сравнение!
I have both they sound awesome but damn!! The ear cups on the Xbox tho😍😍
Nice review! Seems like the Xbox headset will hold up longer ovetime. Just wanted to point out that, the 3D audio advertised by Sony, is a feature within the PS5 console, not the actual Pulse 3D headset. Was marketed that way to maximize sales. Any headset will get the 3D audio on PS5 as you only have to turn the feature on from Sound menu.
If you want real 3d audio never you will get it with 120$ headphone its only marketing . You have to spend at least 400$ like sony xm3 or xm4 its real 3d audio game changing with noise canceling
@@davebernard2951 well that’s just false lol

I'm interested in the Xbox one but what was with the annoying 'pop' after every word on the mic test, hopefully it's not always like that.
Nice video pro. Can you please consider to stop music in the background it’s loud.
Nice comparision
3:14 A thing to note is that when you plug the Pulse 3D in wired using it’s headphone jack the mic quality improves. Xbox doesn’t have that, but they both seem like solid headsets.
I have both headsets and yeah they're both nice but honestly and I'm not being bias the xbox headsets is noticeably better in the audio signature. My pulse headset just doesn't get very loud. I don't want it to sound like I'm bashing the headset but it just doesn't sound as full. They are both nice but tbh when I got the Pulse I was expecting a bit more considering its made by Sony.
Definitely gonna test out plugging up the headset. Just I enjoy the idea of them being wireless.
@@Souls8 You’re good you don’t sound biased at all 👍😊. I hope that Sony bring a software update to the ps5 to allow for custom EQ like the Xbox has. Considering Sony has a history of producing great sounding headphones with a lot of customisation I’m surprised they haven’t done so already
Heres the thing tho. THEY MEANT TO BE WIRELESS. Any headaet or headphones sound better with a cable but in 2021 unless your goal is only focusing on sound quality then ok but we're on the wirless wave. Plus i can wirelessly connect to the xbox and the phone at the same time and use em both at the same time. Ps cant do that. U want the truth, here it is: the reason the pulse 3Ds may have a slight edge in audio quality(which is actually subjective) is because thats all they gave u. If u only have 1 focus its easy to achieve that when you're on sony's level. MS gave us sound, features and futuristic yet sleek hardware. No bias here bcuz i love gaming(which means all consoles) i think they all shine in diff areas for diff reasons but in this instance xbox won. The benefits of taking your time amd not rushing a product to launch with another product. I can be found on my channel:
Etechtroniks
They’re WIRELESS for a reason. This implies to anything that is wireless. Stupid ass
I got my pulse 3D yesterday played ghost of Tsushima for hours no complaints and a good price
Can anyone give me their opinion. Does Atmos sound better even on unsupported games. Don't really want to pay for it if it doesn't make a difference.

I hate when RUclipsrs say it's $99 in usd when there are other viewers outside of the usa. High quality review though, good job.
So can I use the Sony headset on the xbox and the Xbox headset on the playstation?
I’ve been using the Razer Kairi since it came out and it’s pretty good. Good sound, not too much bass and the app is pretty good too. Sometimes during a game it can bug out and crackle until I turn it off and back on again.
I like the Pulse 3D's sound a lot but it's starts to feel uncomfortable after a couple of hours. Probably just me but I end up taking it off after a bit.

I’m gonna get these but I’m kinda worried about the comfort. Will I be able to play for a couple of hours without my ears having discomfort
I been using them since tuesday playing 3-5 hours sessions and for me the comfort is very good. They sit just perfect so they don´t move around but not to firm that you feel cramped. I have big ears but the cups are big enought that they dont touch my ears like my RIG800LX do. The headband is soft and very light on my head. The earcups are soft and thick enough the sit comfortable with glasses but i prefer to use them without.

The playstation microphone seemed lower and I heard distortion? A couple times.
The xboxs had a higher sound to it but did her more of the popping with certain words. Their usable but defiantly 100 dollar headset quality on both.
The weird crackling with the XBOX mic was awful, shame since i thought the mic would've been the defining feature over most PC/Console headsets below $100.
Even though it is wired i still would just get a SHP-9500+Vmoda Boom pro and conect that directly to the Xbox controller for much better mic quality and the wider soundstage :/
Xbox Wireless microphone sounds much more natural.
I own both headsets and xbox is the winner in my book.
Why is that?
This is a good comparison video, especially with both of the mics' sounds showcased.
I use both and I will say this straight out of the box if you want a pair of headphones that are simple and sound great the Sony Pulse 3D are perfect. But the Xbox headsets are a lot more ergonomically friendly they are louder you can customize them so they sound exactly how you want them to between the equalizer and Dolby Atmos settings it’s very hard to pick the overly simplistic Sony headsets over the Xbox headsets that offer much more customization buttons that make it so easy to increase/ decrease volume and chat even the on and off switch is so easy to find while on your ears. Connects to your phone as well. They’re the perfect headsets for Audiophiles on a budget.

coming to this late - as finally have both. Overall the xbox headset is a lovely... Waaaay comfier than the ps5 headset overall and just more intuitive & no stupid dongle like the ps5!
