Great video. There is many more aspects that contribute to mental health issues -
    1. Practical factors - financial, career, relationships
    2. Personality factors - person with high in neuroticism trait is much more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression
    3. Spiritual factor - Every person is craving to be fulfilled/liberated from inside but does not know how to achieve it. This leads all kinds of materialistic consumption but it does not work. The spiritual void of the person is never filled by any kind of consumptions.
So even if anyone takes good care of physical health, sleep, diet there could be more factors that can affect mental health.
Journaling and taking to a good therapist is really helpful. The other thing is that one should pay close attention to the feelings triggered by any kind of activity. If certain type of work or job making you feel more negative then try to go deeper and understand what is that makes you hate it. This is a kind of a self investigation process but it is advisable to take help of a experienced therapist.

PLEASE make a video on the things we can do to improve our mental health like affirmations, gratitude journaling, what is positive thinking and what are its advantages and disadvantages, meditation, mindfulness, helping one person daily, etc. and debunk the things that do not work.

    1_ The Journaling
2_ The Retrospection leading to Introspection,,
and seeing what we call our very "self" ,,,
2.1_ Seeing not the thought patterns but "how thoughts, impulses, emotions, compulsive reactiveness of our psyche, even what you call peace and happiness,, seeing where these definitions are coming, why do i call some of those good and others bad,,, " affect you in a predetermined way,,,
    Help hell better and
3 _ exercise really instantly affects the anxiety levels

Can't help repeating the compliment I made in the Part 1. Your clarity and brevity is commendable. From my ongoing struggles with mental health, I have discovered a few things that were conspicuously missed in this video.
    1. The role of the Type, frequency and layering of sensory content (refer to Andrew Huberman).
    2. Beyond the yoga there are breathing and meditation practices which help you keep afloat while you solve the underlying causes of problems.
A summary of what I've understood
    How to Improve Mental Health
    1. Awareness of the problem
    • You want to do something but are unable to do it. If this is the case then seek help
    2. What is the problem
    • Tendency to deny as it feels personal rather than just another part of your body which is not functional.
    • Journaling is a great way to discover your thoughts. Allows you to explore your state of mind and spot the problem.
    3. Why is there a problem
    • What has led to this situation.
    • What has caused you to have this problem today.
    • Abuse of substances.
    • Abuse/Hacking of the reward mechanism of the brain by you consciously or unconsciously. Initially maybe as entertainment then all the way to addiction and dependence.
    • Usually, the answer is in the past.
    • In the childhood
    • As a teenager.
    • Experiences you have had.
    • Substances
    • Type, frequency and layering of sensory content (refer to Andrew Huberman)
    • Understanding this chain of causality is important.
    4. Solution of the problem
    • Usually involves having a conversation usually with yourself but also with people you love.
    • Difficult because it explores things which have hurt you or them.
    • Helps to have a therapist who will help you navigate this in an orderly and safe way. Keeps the discussion from digressing, spiralling out of control and making you lost and helpless.
    • Importance of physical health in the health of your brain
    • What you eat
    • How well and how much you sleep. Maintaining your circadian rhythm and light exposure (also refer Andrew Huberman)
    • What and how much you exercise (also refer Wendy Suzuki).
    • Environment you live in (Physical, social and mental: All from positive and negative perspectives. Also refer to your level of adaptability and stressor level).
    • Medications: They may be necessary and the doctors should be trusted.
    • They may not be a cure for everything but will be a support system to your other endeavours to get your mental health right.
    • Alternate ways to better mental health:
    • Yoga
    • Sports
    • Dance
    • Meditation
Improving mental health is a multi-faceted journey where getting many things right may all synergise to pull you out of a trough but also spur you from a -1 to 0 to +1 and Beyond (Kungfu Panda style).

Investing can be a powerful tool for building wealth and securing financial stability especially in this hard time. but it’s important to understand that it’s not without its challenges. The investment landscape is inherently volatile, with periods of both gains and losses. This variability is a natural part of investing and requires a clear strategy and patience to navigate effectively.

    • @Kylejones06
      @Kylejones06 27 дней назад

One key to successful investing is acknowledging that ups and downs are part of the journey. No investment is guaranteed to succeed all the time; instead, it’s about managing risk and capitalizing on opportunities. The goal is to achieve a higher rate of return than the losses incurred, which often means maintaining a long-term perspective.

How to overcome unrequited love? How to overcome with the guilt ,how to shift the focus to the right things ,how to get back your nerdy self again ?

    • @priyankaraghav4713
      @priyankaraghav4713 27 дней назад

Hii there. Just trying to tell you that the love that you've given to someone(and that's unrequited), is not a waste at all. It is symbolic of your capability to love unconditionally which is not a bad thing unless it starts harming you!
Well, the guilt would be there, that we lost so muh of our precious time and life on ghat person, and we can never get that time back, but the thing, everyone's life is not meant to be similar, your life has a different story altogether which makes you a unique person who can bring things to this world that no one else can. The time gone, has given us lessons, it was meant to be that way! What the good thing is that we accept the things that happened and are willing to move on in life, beacuse we see hope in life. There is lot and lot to witness yet. There are the best things, joys, celebrations, happiness, waiting for you in future. So step by step, just love yourself more, be kind to yourself , and take actions that make you move towards your goals. It doesn't need to be all perfect. Things take time and that's the beauty of life. So please, give that love to yourself and move. Be conscious of the present and accept what had been. Accept the pain that has come with. Embrace it. Hug yourself. Cry. Laugh. Just see your life as a movie and connect to it. And write the next chapter.
You can add yoga to your daily routine to make things easier. The channel Satvicyoga has many good yoga videos. (Yoga for anxiety is awesome thing just give it a try). Try to eat healthy as much as you can. Take the morning sunlight. If possible, Dance.
I know, it's easier said than done. But I am a believer that time heals. Life is beautiful. And we have the power to make it beautiful for ourselves.
      Take care:)

Sir , video is very informative, but can you explain that how we should identify tha we have developed issues which is bigger or serious than we think and needs a doctor to fix it or help us out.
E.g. I have certain issues or
    symptoms like:-
1.Uneven twitching of muscles and skin in certain areas like shoulder, legs ,etc
    2. Continuous headache ( sometimes very strong)
    3.felling unconscious sometimes.
4.Having unwanted story weaving in hy head
    5. Forgetting tings like spelling very often of simple words.
    6. Unable to write as I want to or as good as I was earlier.
    Etc.
I went to the doctor and they gave me certain medications also ( like Strong painkiller Naproxen, anxiety tablets and migraine tablets).
They told me you have migraine, Fix your sleep cycle and don't take stress. After that all will be fine.
But I think my condition has not improved.
But I started forgetting more often now, and unable to focus properly in studies.

I will tell a simple truth, which is, if you have mental health issues due to your past, whether it is because of childhood abuse or broken or strained relationships, it's not treatable if you are a hypersensitive person.
I've been to Psychiatrists and psychologists for months and the reason is that, these past traumatic memories are the ones that you have lived and experienced.. they cannot be erased from your memory as of today by any means.
There is no medicine or easily accessible and affordable technology available, that can specifically target your traumatic memories and erase them. And those traumatic memories, that have stacked up for years are the reason you may be suffering from stress, anxiety, depression etc.
Those memories will keep causing your body to release stress hormones continuously and make you mentally exhausted.
Such mental health issues cannot be cured by fixing sleep, diet, meditation or exercises.
Moreover such issues make one mentally exhausted in a way that even the basic habits or daily tasks become challenging let alone performing a self care routine.
Such kind of mental health cannot be cured, since the very root cause (the old traumatic memories) is not addressed (don't know why no one talks and speaks the truth).
When I countered the psychologists and psychiatrists i met, they didn't have any satisfactory solutions for this.

The only way you get free from them is when you feel bored, or whey they get replaced or when you work for something you are obsessed with because somehow they build a driving force to achieve something and teach you to be kind

They are treatable but only if you are ready to work on yourself. If you are having high cholesterol problem and even though you are taking prescribed medicines but not eating clean and following exercise regime then tell me honestly will your cholesterol levels ever be back to normal? Same goes to you mental health, you and only you can help yourself. I know its easier said than done but it's doable and I'm telling this from my first hand experience and it's totally your responsibility. You have to realize that other people and circumstances aren't responsible for your mental/physical condition but only you.

IT'S VERY SURPRISING AND SHOCKING TO HEAR ABOUT THIS...
BUT, EVEN THEN, I BELIEVE THAT OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, THE INTENSITY/AMOUNT OF NEGATIVE EMOTIONS YOU FEEL, FROM THOSE PAST TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES, KEEPS DECREASING OVER TIME, AND THAT'S FROM MY LIFE EXPERIENCE AND OBSERVATIONS, AS I AM ALSO A VICTIM OF TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES, TOO.
AND, AS THE TIME KEPT PASSING, THE NEGATIVE EMOTIONS AND STRESS I EXPERIENCED BY THINKING ABOUT THOSE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES, KEPT DECREASING.
ADMITTING THAT PAST IS NOT IN MY CONTROL, HAD ALSO HELPED ME TO DECREASE THE NEGATIVE EMOTIONS.
AT LAST, I TRULY BELIEVE IN THE QUOTE THAT "TIME DOESN'T HEAL, YOU BECOME STRONGER".
BY UNDERSTANDING THAT THE BAD EXPERIENCES, WE HAD GONE THROUGH, IS OUR PAST, AND CURRENTLY, IT'S NOT IN OUR CONTROL, SO, IT'S A WASTE TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT, BUT, IT'S PERFECTLY FINE TO CRY, OR DO SOME ACTIVITIES THAT LET YOU RELEASE THE NEGATIVITY WHICH YOU GOT FROM THOSE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES, WITHOUT HURTING ANY THIRD PERSON.
AND, WE CAN'T DENY THE FACT THAT THOSE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES, WILL EFFECT AND CHANGE OUR BEHAVIOUR AND ATTRIBUTES, BUT LEARNING TO RESPOND, RATHER THAN REACTING, IS THE MOST IMPORTANT BEHAVIOUR, WHICH WILL HELP US PAVE THE WAY FOR A HAPPY AND PEACEFUL ASPECTS OF LIFE.
      I'M A 19 Y/O MALE, SOFTWAR ENGINEERING/CS/IT/TECH ASPIRANT 🙏

Hello, could you elaborate why you feel the topic is killed?

    • @illiterate_reader
      @illiterate_reader 27 дней назад

@@Sidwarrier aap bilkul basic hi bhul ja rahe hain. Are you making these videos for the patients or the doctors?
A person might have issues even when they are not aware of it, and someone could be perfectly rational/healthy but in the wrong company and believe something is wrong with them. You are not discussing the core issue-why and how these things develop. And why do people coming from the same/similar situation may or may not develop such problems.
How would someone with Alzheimer's or dementia know they have a problem? Similarly, if a family or a toxic office environment is making someone sick, how would they identify it? Can healthy eating and exercise help in that case?
Aapne real issue touch hi nahin kiya, hum by default (habitually) same cheez repeat karte rehte hain, bina yeh jaane ya samjhe there could be a better way to live, to think, to be - that is about mental health.
People look up to you; forgive me for saying this, but creators/influencers have far more responsibility than they realise. I have seen you grow from the scratch, I expect better from you.

    • @illiterate_reader
      @illiterate_reader 27 дней назад

Therapy is not always about having difficult conversations. Often, it is guidance, a listening ear, and a wise council, which is why most directors/CEOs have a life coach. Aapko woh sab discuss karna hai. The aim is to make people feel better and help them grow.
aapke script writer ko bataiye yeh sab research karne ke liye.

Yeah i too feel that this was an incomplete one !! But two points, 1. He had already apologised for missing nuances on fixing mental health!!
2.this is a video series, so he has more to come !!!
Again I agree with you to some extent !! But Kudos to him too where people are just making garbage content, he is providing something useful!!❤

@@NakulGhaghada@user-ln5kx1gj9s The video should have been divided into mental health metrics for different age groups. Dr. Warrior comes under experts in his field on RUclips; I believe what he shared in the video is pretty basic and doesn't touch upon the real issues. This kind of content is available everywhere. He's capable of doing much better.
