    I'm totally amazed at this meal, I made 5 spice duck with jarred plum sauce but this is out of this world! I'll make it soon, thanks so much for a great tutorial.

    Have just finished eating this tonight and it was superb. There are only two of us, so I halved the ingredients, except for the duck and did home grown runner beans and carrots instead of salad. Plenty of duck, potatoes and plum sauce for another day. Thank you, Jamie.

    What a wonderful recipe! The crispy duck with spiced plum sauce looks absolutely divine. Jamie always knows how to turn simple ingredients into spectacular dishes.     Finally a reason to use my Chinese 5 spice!!! I’m not keen of cooking ducks but duck is the easiest meat to mock. I’ll use the rest of the recipe and make an incredible dish.

    One important question: what are the settings of the oven??? Is it THERMOCIRCULATION or maby UP and DOWN heating or maby other?

      Yes it was your right but apparently he and others like it well done and they pull it apart. I’m guessing sense it’s such a fatty bird it wind dry out

      No only cooked it for 2 hours when he first pulled it out he said he was an hour in than he put the potatoes under and cooked it for another hour so 2 hours total
