Best V10 for me is the Lexus LFA. It revs so fast and absolutely sings. Best V8 noise is something I’ll never drive and that’s a Top Fuel Dragster. It rains thunder into your chest at the track. This was a great video David!
So I have a suggestion for just pure, old American V8, and it's an odd company: You have to hear a late Studebaker V8 with the factory installed "loud tone" exhaust. I know that came on Avantis, not sure about other 1963 & 1964 Studebakers. R2 (289) & R3 (299 & 304) engines were Paxton supercharged from the factory. Studebaker engines are gear driven, so there's that sound mixed in with the exhaust tone.
I will continue to think Ned’s 1.5JZ Soarer is one of the coolest builds I’ve seen and heard. It’s really unlike any other Inline 6. And Keatons R32 GTS-T has probably one of the cleanest engine bays I’ve seen. Both of them are super sweet cars. Andrew’s TT GT500 was a ton of blast to drive. Its not a race truck by any means. It does have a sealed cockpit with heat and a/c but literally NOTHING else not even a stereo. I just connect the headsets to my phone and play tunes that way. The W212R E63s Wagon with the M157 5.5L V8. I’d argue it’s one the meanest sounding biturbo V8s I’ve ever heard
