Dialogue that feels plucked right from Raimi’s movies I love it.
It sounds similar to the "HAH" when he hit spidey with the bag of coins
So, that dialogue doesn't feel like the type of dialogue that people use in their movies nowadays?
@@paoloi7507it doesn’t to be honest
The difference between Raimi Villains and current villains is that they made jokes WHILE attacking the hero.
Nowadays, the villain pauses what they're doing to make a joke, which is why the joke always falls flat

What a badass version.
Doc Ock looks just as good fighting Tom Holland as he is against Tobey in Spider-Man 2! When I saw him for the first time in this scene I was like let’s go!!!
That's one thing that i really appreciate about this movie, That they don't make the past villians weak. That they convey the villians back then were a real threat even compared the crazy villain's we've seen since.
While Tom Holland’s Spider-Man had his Iron-Spider suit on when fighting Doc Oc, Tobey still held his own while in his classic suit.
Making Tobey’s Spider-Man that much more of a badass.

20 years
More like resurrected 17 years later. Don't forget, he sacrifice himself to stop the fusion reactor in 2004.
@Francisco Leyva Martin that's right because of thanos' snap
Right Doc Ock’s line right here should have been
“Hello Peter It’s Good to be back”
Yes it's 20 years. Spider-Man 2 was 2004. Snap was 2018. Endgame five years later in 2023. This is a year after that. I remember 2004. It isn't like someone from 1974 suddenly finding themselves in 1994...2004 didn't look that much different. If someone from 2004 woke up in 2024, they could believably not notice the differences because 20 years ago doesn't look as different as it used to. Especially if you're confused/disoriented and focused on something else like Doc Ock is here. TVs and everyone with their head stuck in their phone are the biggest immediately noticeable differences..
At 0:06, I love how the tentacles slow arise from the ground, eventually heading back to Doc Ock, it's like we old school Spidey fans see Doc coming beyond the grave and get vengeance on Spider-Man, even though Octavius was never evil, I absolutely love this movie!
Felt my whole childhood during this scene when I used to replay The Trilogy like a madman
Nobody knows how much this moment meant to me as a fan of Spider-Man. I once had this Iron Spider toy figure with the arms you can attach, and I would imagine him fighting Doc Ock. It was cool seeing in the Ultimate cartoon but it was just absolutely amazing (no pun intended) to finally see Peter in his Iron Spider suit to use his extra arms to fight Doc Ock in live-action.
I’m glad bro 😊
well your dream came true :))
Tom’s Peter taking control over Doc Oc’s tentacles is the best thing ever! 😂😂😂
I would so love to do that if I could XD.
Ahhhh, Bluetooth.
I know! It made me laugh!

3:26 R.I.P - Peter's Tie
Was terrified of him as a kid.. terrified oh him now! Alfred still holds up 17 years later!
I'm so glad Doc Ock is brought back, I can't tell if he really is revived, brought back remembering from the moment Peter revealed his identity to and before snapping him back to his real self to him in Spider-Man 2.
I mean we all saw him die, he's been dead for over 20 years! So Strange's spell must've also had the power to bring people who died back from the dead as well from different timelines, plus now he's fighting a different Peter Parker/Spider-Man who hasn't done anything wrong to him before XD
The villians were brought there seconds before their death
Alfred Molina really nailed the part of Dr. Octopus in both Films “Hello Peter”
1:27 Sam Wilson would probably feel the same if he knew about Adrian Toomes

Those "You had to be there during opening night" moments.
I was
I was.. and it was awesome as hell
This is one of my favorite moments in the film.
Me too
As soon as that theme song hit, I got goosebumps IMMEDIATELY.
You can tell that Tom is caught off guard/overwhelmed by Ock’s tentacles, he’s not sure how to slow him down (similar to when he fought the Goblin at the condo) while you could tell that Doc was fully aware of Spider-Man’s tactics. For instance, when they transitioned to the top of the boards, Doc timed & dodged Spidey’s webs.
This was a GREAT fight scene!
1:27 3:41
I love how when doc ock talks to his arm, the arm shakes like an actual stage set

1:11 Dr Octopus Yeeted Spider man
If you notice, Peter was unable to land a single hit on Doc Ock, (except for this kick at 1:47 he made to create distance). If it wasn´t for the Stark suit, Peter would have died during this fight. That´s how lethal Octavius is.
You have to remember that his focus shifts from fighting Doc Ock to saving the MIT Lady.
which just goes to show that Tobey's Spiderman is stronger than Tom Holland's
@@Kenny-ep2nf keep in mind that toby's peter was college age when he fought doc ock and had grown more in his powers. Holland's spiderman is still a kid here, he got his powers younger and was still in high school.
@@Vanlifecrisis I suppose so
Is it just me or the sound of the machine in 0:07 is so damn asmr to the ear
This was such an awesome movie. It's so fun that they were able to believably reference the old movies without making it look like a spectacle. Ock was able to make references to Spiderman two, make it make sense to the movie. It was brilliantly executed where we as the audience probably know what he's talking about when he is asking about his machine and how he "should have killed his girlfriend" but Spiderman is understandably confused since he hasn't met Doc Ock. This movie honestly will be the best Marvel movie for years to come in my opinion.
I love how they did this fight, Doc Ock's tentacles move in a VERY versatile way, it makes him stand out much more as a threat, not counting his strength, even with all the Super Strength and resistance that Spider-Man has, 2:14 that heavy blow I'm sure he felt it.
I'm surprised Dr. Octopus didn't recognize Tobey Maguire's voice, because that's Tom Holland.
Because plot
Their mannerisms can be a bit similar at times, & *actions speak louder than words* (especially when it has yet to hit you, that you're in a different universe)
Being in another universe and facing a diffrent Peter Parker would never have crossed his mind. He's also mentally ill and delusional because of the voices in his head so.
