- Many have copied this burrito that was born out of Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. This town is home to many street vendors and today you get to hear the story of how this LA classic started. Carnitas El Chingon is quickly becoming a local favorite for not only their creations but for the passion the owner puts in.
Thank you to Jose The Taco Guy for coming all the way from Las Vegas, NV just to try this burrito.

I used to live in Boyle Heights. The people are very friendly and respectful and the food is amazing. It feels like one of the only spots of LA left not genderfied/cookie cutter copied.

@SteezyLui True, I went today for the first time and it wasn't as big the one they gave mexipapa but it was definitely delicious and it filled me up pretty good.

Don't be fooled, it's corn tortillas wrapped in flour tortillas. I hate it when restaurants charge more then $10 for chilaquiles when it's tortillas chips with salsa and an egg on top.

Yeah but also depends on hey they come out. Salsa and crunchiness play a big role in chilaquiles cause soggy ones to me, are no bueno. But that’s just me.

I like veges on mine too-cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cilantro , spinach and peppers-and cheese plus salsa. In English, they would be called kitchen sink tacos probably. No longer a burrito fan because too many fillers like beans, rice and sour cream , that add no flavor value.
They gave you big tacos like that because they were being recorded. I bet they are not that big and meaty
I can't talk about the tacos because I haven't had them, but I had the chilaquiles/carnitas/eggs plate, and the portions were a bit disappointing. Delicious though.
I'm 45 yrs old, I've been eating chilaquiles on a homemade flour tortilla since I was kid, so this chilaquiles burrito ain't new for me
