Mexi Papa is great. He tries to bring his own people up as well as others as his channel has grown along the way. He doesn't forget where he came from nor the struggles of his people.
Food is probably what connects all the different peoples and brings them together, especially somewhere as diverse as LA. There's still tons of people who still don't realize just how diverse Latino Culture is, just in itself amongst their own.

That used to be a rough part of town also and it's great seeing the neighborhood improving.
Also, Displacement and Gentrification are two different things people should learn because Displacement is often confused as Gentrification, when it's a whole other subject altogether.

Have you ever delt with negative ppl like Karens in the street while filming a Taco spot ?
Not yet and hopefully never 😂 the owners always know we are coming, and the people waiting in line are always curious as to what we are doing. I was approached by a police officer not too long ago. He saw me filming his car from the sidewalk. Turns out, he was a foodie, and wanted to know when the episode was going to come out 😂
