We spent a few days in the bay area, exploring San Francisco from our base in Berkeley, California. This vlog covers one of the most enjoyable days from this whole trip, showcasing our experience capturing street photography of San Francisco. Visiting the downtown, Chinatown and Golden Gate Bridge areas, we had an enjoyable time inspiring each other to continue shooting throughout the day.
We met up with friends made via Instagram, Russell and Jeff, who showed up some great spots for photography. It's always so enjoyable when like-minded creatives can get together and spend the taking photos!

Russel - your'e a legend man, I'm lovin that X-H1 too. I have two of them now and they have just transformed my photography. Images I didn't even realise were slightly off sharp, are tack sharp now with the ibis. I would never go back to a non-ibis camera again. Especially on my 90mm F2, I'm using that thing now in light that would have been unthinkable before. Even my main lens (16-55), I'm getting sharper images at the longer end too, around the 125th mark. Keep up the good work guys - great vid! Philip

some of the hill climbing looks a little like hard work, but as you say, got to start somewhere.

Hello Joe. I bought kg 100f because of your videos and your enthusiasm. I totally fell in love with it and I wpuld never trade it for a future new model if ( as reported in the rumors) Fuji will replace the 35mm lens with a new one. Anyway, when you can come to Milan for a street photography session.

You‘ve never used the 16mm Joe? You should try it out. I sometimes go out only with the 16mm and the 56mm on my X-T2. Very special and great combo.
I’m going to Cali in a couple of weeks so this definitely makes me more excited for it.

Yo I need your help! I am planning on stepping up my camera gear and I can‘t decide between the Fuji xt3 and the fuji x100f.. I know that they are two very different cameras but I‘m not quite sure if I rather want a fully professional one with more options in terms of lenses and video performance (xt3) or a camera which also provides very good Image quality and is more likely to be my everyday carry (X100F).. pls help me out fam!

Whatever people say about San Francisco, it is amazing and full of character. So many nice neighborhoods. Just stay away from the Tenderloin.

haha ive been meaning to do a vlog on shooting with a 35mm film camera.
Why the 35 f2 and not the f1.4?
The F2s are more portable, have faster and quieter focus systems, but most importantly they have weather sealing. The difference between 1.4 and 2 really isn't much of a sacrifice when I weigh it all up.
F2 is more than enough for street on a nice day
Usually f1.4 youd wanna use for portraits for that bokeh.
